The views outside the property of the Congo and Lake Kivu is a showstopper! The food was so delicious and fulfilling. The service from staff was top notch! 'The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) '

'Great Stay, quite tranquil'

'Rooms without refrigerator (please buy in the restaurant as stiff prices). Bathroom has bath with included shower, but no shower curtain. Comfortable bed in a large bedroom. Furniture is strangely arranged and the lights are cold white. Breakfast is great, and make sure to order the omelette (it is not offered automatically). The location is a gem, next to the beautiful Nyungwe forest, only 20 min drive to the start of most forest hikes. Dinner is a buffet at extra charge.'
