I stayed in "the gin room" no 47 & I was very happy with my room. Albeit a little small the room is exceptionally clean & all the fittings / fixtures are of a very high standard. Considering that it was freezing cold outside the room was very warm & cozy, the bed was comfy & the bathroom is beautiful & of a very high standard. The complementary tea, biscuits & espresso machine were also a pleasant surprise. There is a large flatscreen TV & there is also free WIFI which is very fast. The location of this hotel / B&B is truly stunning with gorgeous views of the Cheshire countryside & it is a very peaceful place indeed. At night the lighting is motion sensitive & very well designed. The decking & features to the front of the rooms are of a very high standard & there is a kitchen / breakfast area that is absolutely lovely & exceptionally clean with complementary coffees, teas, jams, a fridge, toaster & even a separate connecting room that offers a selection of beers & spirits at a reasonable price. This hotel / B&B is an absolute gem, it really is a lovely place & I am very impressed. The staff are also very helpful & welcoming. I am honestly struggling to find anything negative to say about this establishment. It is absolutely top quality. On all of these bases I can only give this establishment a minimum rating of 9 out of 10.
Kind regards
Allan
