Très bien située mais manque un peu d'amour. La piscine a été souvent pas propre et de couleur verte. Les chambres sont belles mais manque de deco et de facilité. Le personnel ne comprends pas bien l'anglais et c'est difficile de se faire comprendre même au resto.

Advertised with wifi in rooms, restaurant, access to diving and massages. None of which was accurate. Told we would have to pay extra for wifi even though it was already listed that we had paid for it and after talking, the receptionist told us that it was wrong and they simply don’t have wifi in rooms. The air conditioning does work well and the pool was nice but other than that I would look into other places for future stays.

Gread food, great view from villa seaview. Bad things are cleaning amd care of inside, and relation with customers: they gave us a old motorbike for the same price of the new ones they show in front. After driving for 20 minutes with old brakes and suspensions and no helmet available, I brought it back asking to change it, or if not possible reimburse cause we rented there only because we see new ones. Manager refused and had a haughty unpleasant behaviour with us. He decided that was better tricking and kidding customers rather than be honest: all this only for 250 baht! If they would take care of customers this would be one of the best resort on island but they don't.

Extremely disappointed! Do NOT stay here!!
Do NOT stay here!!! We stayed in several hotels on our trip to Thailand and this was the only and only bad one. Customer Service was absolutely horrible (with the exception of 2 employees). I feel like we were cat fished with this hotel. I wanted to try and contact hotels.com to request a change to a different hotel but the WiFi was pretty much non existent and thus prevented me from the ability to contact them and was forced to stay 4 of the 5 nights. We voluntarily left a night early with no refund as well just to get out of there. The Electricity went out just in our unit and was not repaired until the following day as there is no staff available during the night. The beach is not really swimable due to all the rocks in the water. The bathrooms smell like sewer. The pictures absolutely no not represent what this place actually looks like. This place felt like it was run by a bunch of teenagers who could care less about the place. You are not allowed to eat in the room as my daughter who is a minor was chased down by an employee and told she was not allowed to bring food in her room. They have laundry service and say it’ll be done by the next day if dropped off in the morning. Not true at all. We had to go back 4 times until we finally got our laundry. And we also heard other guests complaining of the same thing. This place should really be paying people to stay here in order to train their staff properly.

Very bad room, old, bathroom terrible, 3 beds for this small room. Never ever seen that in Thailand! The rate is undiscutable . Forget this hotel!

Superior deluxe room is basic and very dated. Manager not available to complain to. Staff completely inexperienced and unable to resolve complaint re room. Pool area nice but Very few sunbeds. Far too expensive in comparison to other local hotels

We stayed in a 'superior double room' at this three star hotel and were extremely disappointed by the end of our stay. - No wifi in any room (checked with hotel staff), Expedia specifies free wifi in all rooms. - Watery shower gel in one tiny bottle, not enough for two persons for a day. - No shower curtain or other protection from shower spray into bathroom. - No telephone in room to call reception. - Only one small dark light in bathroom. Did not allow lady's makeup. - No shelf beside shower to place soap, shampoo etc - No rail for hand towels alongside wash basin. - No lights working in corridoor outside the room. Felt insecure after sunset. - No bedside light on one side of the kingsized bed. Impossible to read on that side at night. - Room is designated 'garden view'. We had a building construction site outside the balcony. - Most reception staff had very poor english language skills, making it often hard to get assistance. - Poor replenishing of breakfast items such as eggs and milk, despite small numbers of guests and several idle staff members. - No plug in our wash basin, making it impossible to wash things. During our many travels in Thailand we have stayed at TWO star hotels having hardly any of the above shortcomings.

Virkeligt dårligt hotel
Jeg bookede en strandhytte. Da vi ankom virksomheder aircondition ikke. Kontakter receptionen og de lover at se på den, nu virker den på kun en temperatur 15 grader, man skal op på en stol for at slukke den. Poolen er grøn, der ikke hynder på solbrikse, ingen parasoler, det virker som om hotellet ikke er åben endnu. En masse sprog vanskeligheder, da de snakker dårlig engelsk. Valgte at flytte efter 5 dage, selv om jeg havde betalt for 3 uger. Da aircondition stadig ikke virkede selv om flere besøg i receptionen. Men en fantastisk udsigt fra værelset, et venligt personale, der prøver

Hotel was very dirty and in bad condition. The AC in our first room didn’t work, but the staff switched us rooms. Don’t eat at the restaurant, food isnt flavorful and is cooked by teens in the kitchen. Much better to walk 5-10 minutes down the road to eat. Location and beach were great though, the hotel just needed a lot of tlc.

Dated resort, close to the beach
To put it briefly, this resort is dated, it could do with a renovation. Most of the rooms do not have WiFi, only the rooms closest to the lobby. The location is good with many restaurants and bars within walking distance along the beach, but the resort itself needs some work. I don't think it was worth the money.

Dated, useless staff, amazing sunset. Bike hire!
The staff (approx 10 stood around) and apart from TOM at main desk who is amazing, are near useless, no English at all, stood around rolling pool balls, jumping on PAYING and "MONEY MONEY" before one even begins to eat or relax! Constant din of music from the bar is monotonous! The rooms are super dated,like and old Butlins / Communist era camp. I had to wedge shower fitting to stop it spraying all over bathroom. AMAZING location, superb pool. Stayed away from breakfast at £10 wen you can walk down beach 120 metres and get one 1/10th the price!

But, if any of our defection we, sorry and we will improve. what we read on your review is only 50% can be true ,but thank for reccomdation, we have a great boffe Breakfast about 300-350 THB and amny thing included , but if you want to pay for taxi or work more 5 -10 min to find cheap Breakfast is over the road, but remmerber when you sick from those foods,who call the Doctor for you? and we have varity room in Amantra start from 900- 9000THB / and the price is already metioned it's self and hope and same to what we do we try our best to get only good review from you, but same to cross the different of our expectation!!

Fair value for the price
We had a short stay here due to weather. But the hotel room itself was pretty nice and the pool was nice. The beach however was very dirty and filled with garbage and debris unfortunately. There is also very little to do near the resorts without walking miles. You must have a motor-bike if you stay here to be able to shoot down the road to the restaurants and pubs, etc. The staff was very friendly with us and helped us throughout our short stay, thanks!

- Bad communication We almost miss snorkel trip because receptor. They told my guide that they don't have our room number. We ordered Pad Thai Kung (Thai noodle with shrimp) but they serve Kaow Pud Kung (Fried rice with shrimp), when we ask to waiter, he told "you order Fried rice with shrimp" and do nothing. -too much mosquito in room (so bad :( -We deal with receptor about motorcycle 2 day is 500 THB but when we checkout the bill show 600 THB

Much better than expected!
We enjoyed our stay and liked the fact that we were on the beach. One caveat though is I would suggest to book a villa as according to other reviews the regular rooms are not as nice as the villas. The staff was friendly and the laundry was cheaper than most places we have been. One suggestion to the hotel is that they need to invest in blackout curtains because the lights on the walkway are bright and light up the rooms at night. There is no wifi in the rooms but in the common areas it is good and if you are lucky you can sometimes get it on the beach. If you are looking for a budget hotel this is the place for you!

Generelt dårligt.
Check-in var nogenlunde, bortset fra en del sprog barrierer. Blev indkvarteret i nogle værelser, hvor dørene var utætte, terrasse døren kunne ikke lukke rigtigt osv. Vi afleverede vasketøj, da vi havde rejst rundt i 2 uger, og kunne hente det dagen efter, super hvis det havde været tilfældet, der gik 3 dage. Poolen var rimelig og stor, men lignede noget, der var ved at skride i havet. Restauranten serverer god mad, hvis de kan finde ud af, hvad man har bestilt, det sker bare ikke så tit. Morgenmad var til gengæld rimelig. Vi har rejst i Thailand 12 år, og har ikke oplevet noget dårligere end Dette sted, vi kommer ikke igen.

Zimmerkategorie "deluxe". War mehr eine Besenkammer. Zu dünne Wände. Konnten wegen des Schnarchen des Nachbars nicht schlafen. Ausstattung des Zimmers ein Witz, bzw. eine Frechheit. Zimmer wurden auch nur sporadisch und halbherzig gereinigt. Rat an alle. LÄSST DIE FINGER DAVON.

Reception var meget dårlig til engelsk, det samme med folk i restauranten, prøvede at servere noget vi ikke havde bestilt. Værelse blev ikke gjort rent, håndvask blev slet ikke tørret af, i den tid vi boede der, Værelse var helt udslidt, det værste Vi har oplevet i de 12 år, vi rejst i Thailand. Great location and great outside area with swimming pool looking at the beach,service at tha restaurant and bar was good and the food too! Unfortunately the room was very old without wifi or any other type of signal,wifi only available in common areas! The girl at the reception was very helpful the guy too although he made a mistake with our tickets to Samui and we end up paying extra money on the way. Overall not too bad,you get what you pay for I guess!

ทำเลที่ตั้งค่อนข้างดี เพราะติดหาด แต่การบริการของพนักงานค่อนข้างไม่เต็มที่ ทั้งในสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆ ค่อนข้างผิดหวัง อาจจะเป็นเพราะเป็นช่วง Low season แต่ยังไงก็แล้วแต่ก็ควรจะมีให้สม่ำเสมอกัน ในห้องพักไม่มี ชา กาแฟ และ กาน้ำร้อนให้ กาน้ำร้อนต้องขอ แต่ไม่มีชา กาแฟให้ บริเวณภายนอกโรงแรมไม่ได้รับการดูแลที่ดีมากนัก ดูรกๆในส่วนของสวน สระว่ายน้ำไม่สะอาด ไม่สามารถเล่นน้ำได้ ฝนตก ลูกค้าเดินตากฝนมา พนง ก็ไม่มาบริการร่ม หรือ แจ้งให้ยืมร่มเลย ปล่อยให้เดินตากฝน บรรยากาศไม่สวยเหมือนในรูป ทั้งภายนอกและภายใน ห้องพักดูเก่า

It was absolutely awful. We had to upgrade since their cheaper rooms are incredibly horrendous, no aircon, next to a very busy road with no soundproofing. So we took a villa, but it was not better. Completely overrun by mosquitoes with no way to keep them out. The doors had gaps below and above ensuring easy entry for the little bloodsuckers. The shower never had a constant temperature and it had to be adjusted between hot and cold throughout, making for a very unpleasant experience. Staff were barely helpful and sometimes rude. The pool was very nice, so there's that. I can only imagine how awkward it must be when the resort is fully booked; rooms are linked with a paper thin wooden door which suffers from many gaps that prevent it from sitting flush against the door post and I am sure neighbours would hardly be able to breathe for dear of having people hear you, let alone having a normal conversation at a respectable volume. Since it was raining for a few days of our stay we go to experience all of the shortcomings of the "villa" rooms. I'm sure if you only sleep in the room it's okay since the aircon worked, bar the mosquitoes of course. For anything other than sleeping in, the rooms are horrible and the overall ambiance of the resort is incredibly bad.

This is warning to all potential customers at this hotel. My wife and I booked a 5 day stay here at Amantra through Expidia. I had a reservation number and conformation number. Our credit card was already charged. We traveled over 30 hours to get to Koh Lanta and Amantra. However, when we checked in there was no rooms available for us. The manager offered us the worse room in there hotel (B4) and free breakfast (which we already paid for) plus free use of a moped. The worse part we were traveling with family who had 2 other rooms. We had to cut our losses and move to another hotel about 2k away and leave our family behind. I would definently avoid this hotel at all cost.

Nice location with The hotel on The beach, good food in The restaurant and thats about it. Disgusting room located in backyard of The resort next to a construction site, could hardly close the door. A/c smelled like we were about to get poisoned. Wont book this hotel anymore.
