Love this place
What a gem this resort is. I loved the serenity, the friendly staff and my comfortable seaview cottage. It even smelled nice, both inside and out. The outdoor spaces are beautiful, not at all crowded when I was there. Great breakfast too. You can walk in less than 10 minutes to the 'main street' of the area. Or you rent a scooter (motor bike). Look nu further, you can't go wrong here.

Super hotel, lekker rustig.
Goed hotel, vriendelijk personeel, zeer bijzondere locatie, zeer zeker aan te bevelen. Eten is bijzonder goed, ruime keuze en verse vis erg goed. Je hebt wel vervoer nodig om e.e.a. te zien, afstand tot stadskern is niet af te lopen.

Superpersoneel!
Loyfa ligt in een baai waardoor het uitzicht bijna rondom en adembenemend is.Het zwembad is mooi en bied heerlijke verkoeling na een duik in de zee. Bij Eb kan je een heel stuk lopen over het strand. Ligt op loopafstand van een klein dorpje. Voor de overige voorzieningen is een scooter huren noodzakelijk. Het personeel doet er alles aan om het verblijf te veraangenamen. Niets is ze teveel. De kamer is ietswat klein en de badkamer kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Maar dat heeft onze pret zeker niet gedrukt.

What a lovely hotel ! Has its own private beach, has many room options. We got a free upgrade to a private pool villa, there was no safe in the room but that just guaranteed 100% safety of our personal item's without worry (which is a nice change from other thai hotels). Friendly staff, nice buffet breakfast, can't fault it and would definitely go back!

Hôtel situé dans un cap sur une colline avec plage privée très agréable. Si vous aimez la nature et être au calme c’est l’endroit idéal et en plus on est à 5mn à pied de la rue commerçante. Possibilité de louer un scooter directement à l’hôtel pour 250bth par jours. Cela nous a plu et on y retournera.

Beautiful resort in a tranquil location still close enough to restaurants and attractions. The pool is well maintained and yoga/meditation classes are offered to all guests (one free pass and after a fee). The private beach is peaceful with stunning views but difficult to swim in without water shoes due to rocks. When asked about laundry service (advertised as available on site) the front desk clerk advised us that the person was not working today and gave no further information on when the service would resume. The front door of the room didn't seal completely allowing for lizards and mosquitoes to creep in through the cracks (hence the net around the bed). The continental breakfast had a good variety of food but it was difficult at times to know what was in the pre-prepared items (challenging for someone with allergies). Overall a pleasant stay.

Wir hatten eine Villa mit Privatem Pool. Villa im Thailändischen Stil eingerichtet. Zwar ist die Anlage schon älter, aber sehr schön und gemütlich mit außreichend Platz. Die Außenanlage ist top gepflegt, man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel. Zwei Poolanlagen ebenfalls sehr sauber, kaum Leute am Pool, obwohl Hochsaison. Der kleine Strand ist auch für Familien mit Kleinkindern geeignet. Leider nur 5 oder 6 Liegen dort. Wem es nicht gefällt: mit dem Motorroller kann man in wenigen Minuten jeden Tag einen neuen Strand entdecken. Frühstück war für ein 3 * Resort top. Für Yoga-Fans finden täglich mehrere Kurse statt. Beginn bereits früh, der letzte abends gegen 19 Uhr. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Restaurant, Strand und Pool muss man einige Treppen bewältigen. Motorroller gibt es sehr unkompliziert im Hotel für 250 Baht am Tag. Hat den Vorteil, dass man seinen Reisepass nicht irgend einem Vermieter an der Straße überlassen muss, wie oft üblich, sondern das im Hotel nur die Kopie der Passes erforderlich ist. Wir können die Anlage insgesamt jeder Zielgruppe empfehlen (außer bei starker körperlicher Beeinträchtigung).

Clean, great staff and convenient location!
Had a very nice time at this hotel due to the lovely staff members. Despite the several steep slopes and many stairs, we would recommend this hotel as an affordable option. They have a very convenient motorbike rental for only 250 bhat a day. We did this throughout our stay and went to a different beach everyday. The hotel is clean and they provide fresh towels everyday, both bath and pool side towels. And a very convenient beach bag that we used a lot! The food is perfectly fine, the beach is just okay (a bit rocky), but very nice and comfortable sunbeds, nice and big pools. I am sorry to say that the beds in the room we stayed are absolutely rock hard. All in all, we had a nice stay especially because of the very nice staff, convenient bike rental and a nice location close to all the best beaches on this side of the island.

The location is GREAT - relatively (!) secluded, private beach, great pool, spots to view the sea in solitude. Rooms are close to each as is true for all of Kho Phangan at this price, but still, there was privacy and space in the off-season. Very friendly, very clean, beautiful vegetation. Overall far above its neighboring hotels. Rooms can go for minor upgrades.

We had the pool villa. Its’ remote privacy, view, and porch was unreal. The best part of our room was the pool. After the long days of exploring, we’d return to our room and relax in the pool. Only downfall is - there is a no bottle opener 😋 make sure you buy one if you want to unwind with a brew!

The property was beautiful and well cared for. it's located right on the water and has a pool large enough for lap swimming. the food in the restaurant was very good and breakfast was really good and quite sufficient. It was close to numerous resturants, shops, etc. This resort was right next door to a yoga retreat where we were able t drop in for classes. They had scooter rentals onsite which was helpful and the staff was great in helping plan our departure and booking tickets for us.

Top séjour au Loyfa !!!
Nous avons passé 5 nuits au Loyfa ! Tout était parfait !! L’emplaclément est idéal ! Les chambres beach front view absolument parfaites et un peu à l’ecart Des chambres sur piscine un’peu Bruyantes la journée ! Le personnel était super aussi !! On y reviendra c’est certain !! Es wird jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Die Zimmermädchen sind super freundlich. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Der Service im Restaurant ist wirklich schlecht. Obwohl nicht sehr viel los war hat man bis zu 45 Minuten auf sein Essen warten müssen. Die Preise sind ordentlich, Abends gibt es frischen gegrillten Fisch - nicht entschuppt und roh. Insgesamt ist das Restaurant und die Qualität der Speisen sehr schlecht und wirklich nicht empfehlenswert. Dafür gibt es aber auf der Hauptstraße sehr guten Ersatz. Die Massagen sind der Knaller und die Damen sind gut ausgebildet. Transfer zum Pier war sehr gut organisiert.

Le bungalow penchait d’un côté ! Pour avoir une poubelle qui ferme , (vu que l’on ne jette pas de papiers dans les toilettes ) très compliqué Les piscines : ok Les serveurs : ok A la réception , une catastrophe !! Même pas au revoir , qd on est parti ! Nous y sommes restés pourtant 1 semaine ! Très indélicat ! Si t’as besoin de rien , tu demandes !

It's an island and we never throw waste in sea so we have septic tanks to save the environment and keep it clean by not throwing waste in nature. It rarely happened if water level got a bit high and flush doesn't work but alternatively staff is available and as we send them quickly to fix it. Municipality trucks come to clean the waste tanks regularly. Reception is too busy from morning till check our time and if they didn't have a chance so say goodbye , It doesn't mean they are rude just a matter of busy time with customers like you and others. Still we are sorry. Hopefully see you again. Have a good time

TIPS UND EINE REZEPTIONISTIN waren sehr hilfreich nett mit peerfektem enlisch, das ist zuwenig bei diesem grossen Resort. Bei der Ankunft am Pier musste ich trotz vorheriger Bestellung mehr al 1 Std. Nach 4!!!!!!!maligem Anruf warten. Bei Abreise 50 Minuten. Für mich viel zu teuer und enttäuschend

Great resort
Great place to stay. The staff was vrry friendly, family mart is a 3 minute walk and there are many restaurants close by (plenty of vegan/veggie restaurants). The resort has two nice pools and a beach. Breakfast was included and the had a couple of different options every day as well as fresh fruit.

Gorgeous location and vibe
We had the most amazing stay! The villas are rustic, but not in a bad way. The views are amazing. The two pools awesomely located and it’s literally a 5 minute walk into Sri Thanu. The staff are amazingly friendly and made us feel so at home. They even have vegan pancakes at their breakfast which was a major plus for us. As mentioned, rooms are a bit rustic and could probably do with a bit of care, but honestly this was not an issue at all for us.

Reservation du 30 janvier au 05 fevrier 2019. Arrivés avec un jour de retard. Tres bon accueil, le receptionniste nous a surclassé ♡bungalow deluxe avec vue sur la mer avec tout le confort, douche et sanitaire propre, tres grand lit confortable, lieu agreable avec bcp de verdures, 2 piscines ♡le petit dejeuner tres varié et bon ♡Le personnel aimable, souriant, disponible ♡le calme dans l'hotel ♡la propreté irreprochable partout ♡De bons restaurants dans le village ♡la location du scooter à l'hôtel (même prix à l'extérieur) nous a permis de decouvrir plusieurs plages

Wir waren mit 8 Personen in diesem Hotel und waren alle schwer enttäuscht und froh, als wir dieses Hotel, um es nicht Absteige zu nennen, verlassen konnten. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir von drei unser vier Zimmer entsetzt. Schimmel in den Bungalows, Schmutz, Löcher in den Wänden die man mit Taschentüchern ausgestopft hat, schmutzige Bettwäsche, nasse Handtücher, kaputte Fliesen, Klimaanlagen die bei 19 und 25 Grad gefühlt die gleiche Temperatur im Zimmer erzeugen, Ungeziefer auf dem Bett, Kühlschränke die nicht kühlen. Von den zwei gebuchten Beachfront View Bungalows, war eine nicht verfügbar und so ging es in die vierte Reihe. So ging es nach fünf Minuten auf dem Zimmer bzw den Bungalows direkt zurück an die Rezeption, um diverse Mängel anzumerken. Das Gespräch mit dem Manager vor Ort eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Noch nie bin ich bei einer Beschwerde ausgelacht worden, noch nie habe ich mich so wenig ernstgenommen gefühlt. Alles wurde mit nicht nachvollziehbaren Floskeln abgetan. Ungeziefer wurde damit abgetan, dass das Hotel eben mitten im Jungle sei. Für uns war das Hotel definitiv nicht im Jungle. Schmutzige Bettwäsche tat man damit ab, dass diese schon gewaschen sei, aber die Flecken eben nicht rausgegangen sind. Auf mehrfache Nachfrage und widerwillig wechselte man die Bettwäsche, um noch schmutzigere Bettwäsche aufzuziehen. Den Zimmermädchen mache ich definitiv keinen Vorwurf! Nie nie wieder!

Dear Guest, Many thanks for coming and staying with us. Actually out of 120 guests in house only your review and your group has problem with all the staff, Management and rooms and then now you don't like the location of resort too. I think 6 dollar hostel where you came from was best option for you either 3 star with all the staff and facilities. We have tried to help you out in many ways even with free upgrade too but you was kind of complaint and fight mission not holidays. 1 old couple out of you 8 people and their son was the best part of your group who were really on holidays. Hopefully you will behave like good guests and would like to feel on holidays on your next trip to some other hotel. Many thanks

Behagelig opphold
Fineste stedet vi var på Koh Phangan! Bra hotell, men det er noe slitt. Maten på restauranten var ikke særlig god, og jeg ble dårlig etter et av måltidene. Fine bassenger og god plass da det ikke var mange gjester. Det var renslig og veldig god service. Flere gode restauranter i nærheten. Stranda som tilhørte hotellet var ikke noe særlig.

Não gostei do quarto
Quartos pequenos e escuros. Banheiro pequeno, escuro, não tem tomada no banheiro para uso de secador de cabelos. Não tem espelho de corpo inteiro no quarto. Paredes muito finas, escuta-se até a respiração dos ocupantes do quarto vizinho. Gostei: transfer pier/hotel gratuito, check in com drink de boas vindas e toalha gelada. Cafe da manhã tipo buffet. Gentileza em fornecer um lanche para levar no dia do meu check out, o Ferryboat saia muito cedo e não teria como tomar café da manhã no hotel.
