We stayed for four nights in late June, early July. Jennifer called us to make sure everything was in order upon our arrival (as she was out of town). Everything was great. The place was very clean and well appointed. The internet was serviceable for email, etc. (I don't think there are any really fast connections on the whole island, at least not that I could find.) There is a charcoal grill on the deck, in addition to the full kitchen - which was nice.
The unit is multi-level, with two-bedrooms down and one up, and a full bathroom on each level. It is conveniently located near a shopping center (Safeway and Walmart), so you don't have to go far to stock up for your stay. I recommend having a car to get around Kodiak (although you could call a taxi to get to the town center or go to other locations).
The only thing missing was an instruction sheet for internet access, local attractions, house rules, check-out procedures, etc. Perhaps we just didn't find it or someone else took it. Having been in Kodiak before, we pretty much knew our way around, so that wasn't a big deal. We just did what seemed reasonable upon exit (gathered the linens and towels by the washer, bagged the garbage, cleaned the dishes before we left and made sure the door was locked on our way out).
Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating. She did let us check in early (many thanks!) which was a huge help.
In summary, it was all fine and we are very happy we stayed there. We definitely hope to return sometime soon.
