It was a beautiful location. It was walking distance to the restaurants but with the heat we often ended up taking a taxi anyway. There were sometimes a few small hick-ups (replacing towels, low water pressure in the morning) but staff were very helpful to resolve it. Good choice at the breakfast buffet.

This property is dated and needs revamping (you can never get consistent hot water in bathroom). The staff is attentive, but cannot quite provide solutions to problems since they are dealing with maintenance issues. The restaurant Tree Tops & even the beach restaurant is not worth the money and there are so many better options available at walking distance. The Spa and the staff are highly recommended, thoroughly professional. Breakfast was sumptuous and a good spread. This place could be a good spot for families with small children who do not have to venture out, have a peaceful stay and dont mind the price/quality imbalance. Also, note that they are extremely pushy (annoying) for guests to attend their vacation club presentation.

Prachtig hotel aan het strand
Wij verbleven 2 weken in Anantara Lawana. Een prachtig 5-sterren hotel aan de rand van Bo Puth, dus in een rustig gedeelte. In de omgeving zijn wel een aantal restaurants. Het hotel zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien. De kamers zijn prachtig, schoon en comfortabel. Dagelijks schone lakens en handdoeken. Ruim voldoende gratis water(flesjes) op de kamer. TreeTops is een fantastisch restaurant midden in het resort. Het hotel heeft een eigen strand met ruim voldoende comfortabele strandbedden, gebruik van badlakens en bediening op het strand. Ook aan het zwembad staan voldoende ligbedden. Het personeel is -zonder uitzondering- overvriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vooral 2 obers van de strandbar, Yong en Moo, doen er alles aan om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. En zelfs de manager zit niet alleen op kantoor, maar doet een aantal keren per dag een ronde door het resort en maakt graag een praatje met alle gasten. Kortom, dit hotel is een aanrader!

We booked Anantara Lewana for our honeymoon. Since the moment we arrived, we didn't want for anything. The pool suite was incredible, the breakfast was delicious and catered for everyone. All the staff were so kind and attentive and the pool gents were always there before you even realised you needed them. We could not fault our stay. There were so many little gestures, like a honeymoon reception with cake and swan towels, valentines chocolates which were delicious and a special cake when we dined at Tree Tops. We just had an amazing time at Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui. This place is a legit 5-star hotel. Everything is well maintained, and the whole place is simply beautiful. The staff at Anantara Lawana were incredible. Every single person was friendly and super nice. But we have to give a special shoutout to our guest manager, Sam. He was an absolute gem! Sam helped us with everything and was so attentive to our needs. We can't thank him enough. We're already planning our trip back next year, and this time, we're bringing the whole family along. A good location just a few min outside of Central Samui where all the shopping and restaurants are. Taxi's come by often so finding a ride is really convenient. The customer service is excellent and the private beach and pool are big enough to be comfortable in your own resort.

Incredible service for our honeymoon
We arrived at Anantara Lawana after a stressful day of travelling, and within two minutes the stress had completely melted away! The service was impeccable from the minute we arrived, all of the staff were so polite and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was stunning (we stayed in one of the pool suites) and the facilities were excellent. The food was delicious - if you're visiting for a special occasion I would highly recommend dining in Treetops restaurant - incredible food in the most beautiful setting. A visit to the spa is also a must. Don't hesitate to book this hotel!

Fabulous Resort
Our stay at the Anantara, Chewang was fabulous, and the Staff went out of their way to help you in anyway. The rooms were immaculate, and well apportioned, and like the rest of the resort, well kept, albeit starting to show wear and tear. Breakfast was well organised, and on the better end of the scale for this type of resort - good choice of western and orientalist cooked foods, fresh pastries, great selection of fruit and continental choices. Restaurant style and food was exemplary and the Treetops restaurant was out of this world, but pricey. Overall, I would definitely visit again, as the Anantara delivered on all of its promises

It was amazing stay - the room is big (pool access Vila) I liked the outside shower 😂, we had it all in the room even a bag for the beach , flip flop they thought about it all . very helpful staff In everything we wished to do Faby you are great . A true luxury resort. The staff is very courteous and hospitable with minute attention to details. Indian food station at the breakfast buffet was amazing. Vipin is a great chef and truly stands out. On the downside, Indian food is not on the menu for lunch and dinner. Hopefully with more indian tourists returning back to Phuket, they can expand the menu.
