The view and the breakfast service get 5 stars. The view and the setting will take your breath away. The food and service at the breakfast was perfect every time! We also enjoyed the food and the staff at the Azure restaurant. We didn’t try the other restaurants. The hotel management fell short. First, we booked what they call a “1 Bedroom Five Island Villa with private pool”. The villa and the view were beautiful BUT this is NOT a 1 bedroom villa. There are only two rooms— a large bedroom with a small sitting area and tv (the TV doesn’t tilt towards the bed so you can’t watch TV from your bed) and a beautiful and large bathroom/closet. I paid about $125 per day extra for my son to get a rollaway bed and breakfast (which was included for only 2 people). I was surprised when I walked in the room and saw the rollaway placed right next to our bed because despite being advertised as a 1 bedroom villa, there wasn’t a separate living area for the rollaway. Also, at turn down, we only received two cookies or treats despite being 3 people- not a huge deal but a notable shortfall. One day, the hotel closed the pool and one of the 3 restaurants to hotel paying guests for almost all day so they could host a wedding. It seemed unfair to paying guests to be inconvenienced during a high season so the hotel could double dip and host a wedding.
