'It was an expensive and most of all a fake reservation by Expedia. The hotel didnt know of any reservation. The hotel doen't have internet, no e-mail address. They only except reservations by telefon. I'll make a heavy reclamation at Expedia, once we are back from our journey through Ghana. We finally ended up in a hotel that suggested the taxi driver to us.'

'I have had a very nice stay for the past 3 weeks in the Winford Boutique Hotel. The employees at the hotel were very kind and helpful. I felt at home and safe. Delicious local meals were prepared for me every day (for around GHS 20-30). The travel time by car outside the rush hour to the center (Accra) is 30-45 minutes. The travel time to the airport (Kotoka) is approximately 1 hour. I thank the whole team again for everything!'

'no breakfast or only late due to several useless excuses. Only one towel and has to ask for fresh one. Lights, plugs on un-logic locations. No proper bed sheets. Building still under construction. Maybe good place for tourists not for business people.'

'Great place to stay at. Good breakfast and dinner at ELM restaurant located next door. Friendly staff everywhere. Our host Gideon did a great job and was very responsiveness to our questions regarding booking a shuttle to airport, request for extra towels etc. Will come back again in the future!'

'From prompt pick up from the airport to check out, no complaints. The location of this hotel near the airport and is walkable to all kinds of stores. The room was impeccable, and very comfortable. 'I loved the reasonable price for the standard room. The food was very tasty and nutritious. The traditional dance performances close by and the band playing danceable music on the beach were exhilarating. I also loved the Saturday morning children’s dance classes in the dance studio on the main floor. The staff was very friendly and attentive'

'I travelled to Ghana for my birthday and everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. From my room to the staff singing happy birthday at breakfast, and then the bedroom set up with the bed display, cake, champagne, I couldn't have asked for a more special way to start my new year. All of the staff were so lovely, particularly Charity and it will definitely be a hotel I will stay at again and recommend!'
