Welkom bij Villa Lucija in een klein dorp in Cilipi, 22 km ten zuiden van Dubrovnik en op 8 km van Cavtat, een van de 10 beste Europese topbestemmingen in 2019. Het dorp heeft een lange traditie van folkloristische dansen uitgevoerd elke zondag voor St. Nicholas kerk. Op loopafstand van Villa Lucija zijn er verschillende restaurants, pizzeria en 3 café-bars.
Het appartement in onze villa bestaat uit drie slaapkamers voor 6 personen. Een slaapkamer bestaat uit een kingsize bed of 2 eenpersoonsbedden en de andere twee slaapkamers bieden queensize bedden. Twee privé badkamers staan ook tot uw beschikking.
Vanuit een comfortabele en nieuw ingerichte woon- en eetkamer en een volledig uitgeruste moderne keuken kunt u genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht over de zee en cipressen. Genieten in een ochtendcafé op het balkon met prachtig uitzicht op zee en het vogellied zal zeker een van je grootste vakantieherinneringen zijn.
Alle kamers en de woonkamer zijn uitgerust met een individueel instelbaar airconditioningsysteem, satelliet-tv en gratis WiFi.
Bij het buitenzwembad is er ook een keuken met een barbecue. Als u de voorkeur geeft aan zon, staan onze 6 ligbedden, badhanddoeken, buitendouche tot uw beschikking. Als u de voorkeur geeft aan schaduw, kunt u ontspannen in een lounge met uitzicht op de ongerepte natuur en de zee. Vanuit onze buitenjacuzzi valt het water licht in het zwembad.

In de nacht, wanneer alles stil is, kunt u ontspannen en genieten in een hemel vol sterren omringd door verlichte stenen muren en olijfbomen.

Als u besluit uw vakantie bij ons door te brengen, helpen we u graag met elk verzoek, dus aarzel niet om contact met ons op te nemen. We bieden ook gratis vervoer van / naar de luchthaven van Dubrovnik.

Fantastisch huis en geweldige host

Heerlijk huis met complete buitenkeuken zit en eetgedeelte, mooi zwembad en prachtig uitzicht. Eigenaren erg vriendelijk. Lucija staat altijd voor je klaar van pick-up van het vliegveld, reserveren bij een restaurant tot regelmatig lekkere hapjes. Cilipi is een klein dorp met elke zondag een folklore event.

Our first time in Croatia and after staying at Villa Lucija we will be back! A beautiful property overlooking the countryside and out to the sea. Our host Lucija and her family were so helpful and kind, always there when we had questions. The property was exceptionally clean and well equipped from the property upstairs to the outside kitchen and pool. Some homemade treats on arrival was a lovely touch. Despite being close to the airport we found the location of the property excellent, easy to drive to the local town Cavat or further north for a day in Dubrovnik. The town Čilipi itself has a few supermarkets, pizzeria and bar/cafe which was lovely to walk up to in the evenings. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Everything from the very welcoming hosts to the property itself and the surrounding area is just perfect. We always hire a car if visiting and it is very easy to get around. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lucija from 8th–18th July 2025. The villa is absolutely stunning, immaculate, beautifully designed, and even better than the photos. The view is lovely, and the 4-minute airport transfer was a game changer!Inside, the villa is spacious and stylish with air conditioning in every room, though we often enjoyed the natural breeze and left the AC off during the day. I haven’t slept so well in years!The outdoor area is a highlight, the pool gets sun all day, the loungers are super comfy, and the jacuzzi section is a bonus. We loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and shaded dining area, which became our main hangout, especially in the evenings.Čilipi is peaceful yet convenient, with a great pizzeria and small supermarkets just a short walk away. We used Uber instead of renting a car, super easy and reliable, with trips to Cavtat (14) and Dubrovnik (32).Lucija, our host, was amazing, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. She even brought us homemade pancakes and a delicious blueberry trifle. On our last day, with a late flight, she stored our bags and met us at the airport. Truly exceptional hospitality.We highly recommend Villa Lucija for anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious Croatian escape. We made amazing memories and can’t wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Lucija. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, even offering to pick us up from the airport and allowing us an earlier check in.The place was spotless and was plenty of space for the five of us (3x double bedrooms and x2 bathrooms). The outdoor space was the real highlight - featuring a big pool, lots of sun loungers, a sofa and dining area, and fully equipped outdoor kitchen. We had a lovely BBQ one evening! The location was also perfect, only a short drive to beautiful Cavtat where you can get a ferry into Dubrovnik. Or you can get a 30-40 min Uber into the city if preferred.Would definitely visit again!

I was booking for Dubrovnik but we were so pleasantly surprised to be at this property away from the crowds of Dubrovnik. The owner was great, telling us about a trail that we walked for a few hours to the quaint town of Cavtat. We were only able to stay at the property a few days but it was beautiful, large, clean and we felt very safe!

Had a wonderful time at Villa Lucija. We had long lazy days beside the pool along with al fresco dining using the outside kitchen, the villa itself was very high quality and a real home from home. There was only a short walk to shops and even a bar and pizzeria. Cavtat and Dubrovnik were in easy reach for days out. To top all this Lucija and Stipica were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome with home made treats and nothing was any bother to them. This was a holiday we will not forget for a long time and could Not recommended highly enough.

A fantastic apartment with an amazing outdoor space

We are a family of four (inc. two daughters 16 and 15) and had two weeks in the villa. The villa is a top floor apartment of a lovely stone building. It is very modern and exceptionally clean. Three big bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The views from the balconies are exceptional out to the sea over the forest. It contained every thing you need and benefitted from a large smart TV as well. Even better than this though was the outdoor space. The photos dont really do it justice, the outdoor kitchen is fully equipped (including fridge, dishwasher and ice machine) with a great bbq. It is a superb space to cook, read, drink and watch the sun set over the forest with the views extending over the pool to the sea. The pool is a great size and deep enough to dive in, with a lovely jacuzzi attached to it. All in all we would totally recommend a stay here. Lucija our host was also lovely, she was around when we needed her and left us to our devices. She also kept leaving treats for us of local wine, figs, deserts and local spirits. We had a wonderful two weeks and would not hesitate to rebook the same villa. Location is also good, being just 5 minutes from the airport (you do hear the planes taking off at times but its not too much of a distraction as it isnt all the time). Five minute drive to the nearest beach, 10 minute drive to Cavtat and about 30 minutes to Dubrovnik. You will need a car You won't be disappointed.

Family Holiday - July 24

We (family of 4) stayed for 10 nights at Villa Lucija in July 24. I would agree with all the points made by previous reviewers – it is a modern spacious villa, with 3 good sized bedrooms (we didn’t have any teenage arguments on who gets which room!), very efficient air con system and great outside pool area. It is exactly as the pictures and previous reviews portray it. The villa itself (or hosts Lucija and Stipica) can’t be faulted, so here are a couple of practical points. If you want total peace and quiet, then the fact that Cilipi is only a few minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport means you won’t get it because there is occasional noise from planes taking off/landing. It didn’t bother us but worth noting. If you are hiring a car, then some of the roads in the area are very narrow, so be prepared for some close encounters with oncoming vehicles! Also Google hasn’t mapped Cilipi 100% so you don’t get street view for the Villa itself but there is no problem parking there. Overall a great place to stay – 10/10.

A modern and sweet retreat

The pictures do not do this place justice. The hosts were gracious and communication was seamless. We were greeted by a plate of homemade cookies in our kitchen and delicious homemade individual vanilla pudding desserts days later (in our outdoor kitchen--the hosts did not enter the villa while we were there.) We arrived early and were able to check in hours before we were due to. The house and pool area were spotless. The pool was cleaned by a pool fairy every night and was ready for us in the morning. Pool towels were provided as were bath towels. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a small supermarket within walking distance from the place that will have all the basics you need. The floors inside were the most solid we've ever walked on as were the doors in addition to being almost soundproof for the most quiet and tranquil sleep you'll ever have. There is a washing machine in the bathroom and a drying rack out on the terrace. We were able to get several loads of laundry done. It is a 3 minute drive to the airport, but for some reason you can barely hear any airplanes overhead. If you are looking to go into Dubrovnik old town, you either need to rent a car or take an uber (at the time of this review, it's between $50 and $60 each way, depending on how many passengers). But, there was always an uber available. Do not miss the Museum which is a 2 minute walk (on the way to the supermarket). Would definitely return to this wonderful home. Thank you.

Wonderful stay in Croatia at Villa Lucija

We stayed 10 nights at Villa Lucija Jul 2024 and it was perfect just how the photos showed. The hosts Lucija and Stipica are wonderful and on hand if needed and surprised us with treats throughout our stay. The three bedroom apartment is spacious, with great air conditioning and has everything you will need along with sole use of the outdoor area which has an outdoor kitchen, dining and seating area along with the fabulous pool. Cilipi is only about 10 mins from the airport, it has a lovely Pizza Restaurant, a couple of bars and two shops for your daily groceries. We decided not to hire a car but it easy to get Uber's, they are reasonably priced and you are in easy reach of Cavtat and Dubrovnik. I would definitely recommend Villa Lucija. Thank you for the wonderful holiday we were sad to leave.

A wonderful stay with superb hosts!

The property is modern and beautifully presented with excellent living accommodation and views across the local countryside. In addition to the inside living is a superb outside space offering a covered lounge and dining area and a magnificent further kitchen area where we enjoyed preparing two BBQs in the warmth of the evening sun. The pool and jacuzzi complete this stunning outside facility. The great holiday home is set in the delightful village of Cillipi only a few minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport, has a lovely pizzeria where we ate twice, a small supermarket and every Sunday between Easter and October they host a charming folklore event including music and dancing that is worth seeing. The icing on the cake are the wonderful hosts who are onsite but whilst they give you total privacy they are on hand to help out with any query or support you may need. We have used VRBO a lot both in the UK and in mainland Europe but have never experienced hosts better than Lucija and Stipica - thank you! Not surprisingly we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to others!

Lucius and Stipica provided an absolutely wonderful stay for us! They are so welcoming and sincere. Delicious goodies and homemade wine waiting for us! The apartment, pool, outdoor area are all absolutely immaculate and designed so perfectly. Everything is very spacious and the view is perfect! Loved the village, the church bells, and evening Mass. I hope to come back to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Lucija. Lucija was the perfect host - treating us to gifts of cake, figs and pancakes during our stay. The Villa is beautiful, impeccably clean and has everything you could possibly need. The pool is a great size with a jacuzzi. 6 sunbeds, wonderful outdoor kitchen and beautiful terrace. Definitely recommend the pizzeria in the town square - we dined there twice - very cheap just €7 for a delicious large pizza. Well stocked supermarket within walking distance. Simply amazing place. Villa Lucija

Our stay at the villa was wonderful. Lucija is a fantastic and attentive host and the villa is superbly equipped and fantastically clean. Plenty of aircon makes it extremely comfortable at all times of the day. She presented many little extras like wraps and small cakes when we arrived, fresh figs picked from the garden, picked us up from the airport and even made us all a delicious chocolate/tiramisu dessert! The pool, outside kitchen and veranda area is spacious and of the highest quality, with a view towards the sea. Looks fantastic at night lit up! I highly recommend a stay here - it's only 10 minutes to Cavtat which is great little resort, and 30 minutes to Dubrovnik, which is lovely but very busy this time of year.

Nothing less than perfect!

We (family of four) stayed 11 nights in the apartment in Villa Lucija and we couldn’t fault a thing. I was initially apprehensive thinking we might not have much privacy (without having the full Villa) but I was proved completely wrong. We only ever saw our lovely hosts when we needed them or when they surprised us with lovely home made treats. The apartment itself was really spacious with three good size double rooms and was immaculate. Everything was just perfect, even down to the softest pool towels!! We visited in the heatwave but it wasn’t a problem as there was AC in each room and the outdoor terrace had everything we needed… the pool, large shaded lounge/dining area, outdoor shower and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. It was only a very short walk to the local cafe bar, pizzeria and supermarket which were all great, but also a short drive to Cavtat which is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been. The photos of the property look lovely, but even they don’t do it justice…. All so much nicer in reality. And with the kindest, most helpful and welcoming hosts, we hope to return again. Thank you again Lucija and Stipica ❤️

Stunning villa and amazing pool and lounge area

Really enjoyed our stay with Lucija and Stipica. The accommodation is beautiful with everything you need. There is also air con which made a massive difference with the heat in the evening. The pool area, outdoor kitchen and lounge area make it super special. Lovely little village with two shops, bar and pizza restaurant. We decided to not hire a car and was super easy to get Ubers as it’s close to the airport. Lucija and Stipica go above and beyond and made our holiday very special. Lucija even made a birthday cake for my daughter as she celebrated it on holiday. 100% recommend this accommodation for holidays - doesn’t get any better.

Great choice

Villa Lucija was a great choice for our holidays! We have been there in June, the weather was perfect so we could enjoy the outdoor kitchen, pool and whirlpool. I didn't miss anything. Lucija greeted us when we arrived, she made welcome snacks (she even made me dessert for my birthday!) Communication was very easy and very nice. Thank you for being our host!

Beautiful Villa Lucija Cilipi Stay

We loved our stay at Villa Lucija. Everything was as described and better. Well-appointed indoor and outdoor kitchen, modern, spotless. The outdoor space was perfect with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The pool was fantastic. Everything is so well maintained. The hosts were lovely. Lucija brought us homemade treats which were amazing. We really enjoyed the Sunday singing and dancing in the church square, you might recognize one of the singers... We drove to Dubrovnik, parked on the outskirts and took UBER to get closer to old town. The City of Cavtat was close by with many restaurants and pubs, shopping. Cilipi has a pub, a pizza place grocery store and small meat store, all within walking distance. We visited a beach a short drive away which was beautiful. The airport is very close which is great for arriving and departing, we heard the planes occasionally when we were outside, but did not hear them when we were inside, and they certainly didn't affect our stay at the beautiful villa. I would highly recommend Villa Lucija Cilipi.

Perfect for a relaxing break

The apartment is modern, comfortable and clean. The pool and outdoor kitchen are beautiful and patio is spacious. Lucija and Stipica are helpful and welcoming, snacks on arrival and fruit from the garden were lovely touches. Its also convenient and close to the airport. We had a very enjoyable stay.
