    Gerenoveerde karakter studio-appartement, in het hart van Kotor oude stad. Helder met mooie bergen en oude stadsgezichten. 2 slaapplaatsen op zeer comfortabele kingsize slaapbank in een open woonkamer, slaapkamer en keuken. Aparte eigen toilet / douche ruimte. Karakter stenen muren en betegelde vloer. Grote kledingkast & kast.
    Zeer goed uitgerust met airconditioning / verwarming, 3 dubbele beglazing, flat screen ADSL (T-Com) en satelliet TV / DVD, halogeen kookplaat en keukengerei, koelkast met vriesvak, onbeperkt toegang tot internet, kleine tafel en stoelen, wasdroger, etc . Kwaliteit badkamer met grote douche, toilet, wasmachine, haardroger, strijkplank en strijkijzer.
    Het is slechts een paar meter lopen naar de vele musea, kerken, restaurants, bars en winkels in het pittoreske en auto (uitlaat) bezoeken vrij oude stad (parking beschikbaar buiten op slechts 150-250 meter). Of neem de 30 minuten lopen naar de top van het oude fort met een adembenemend uitzicht over de Boka Bay. De waterkant omzoomd door jachten en boten ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen en lopen een beetje verder brengt u naar Dobrota, met restaurants aan het water en zwemmen in het heldere water Boka Bay. Goedkope bussen of taxi brengt u naar het historische en ongerepte Boka Bay dorpen (Prcanj, Perast etc.), of verder naar de meer ontwikkelde Budva (met zijn eigen schilderachtige oude stad, bungeejumpen, watersporten, enz.) Of op zanderige en rotsachtige stranden direct aan de Adriatische kust (Jaz, Blue Horizons, etc.). Een boottocht rond de baai, en in het bijzonder naar het eiland de kerk is niet te missen de moeite waard. Al met al deze UNESCO werelderfgoed stad en omgeving is een dramatische, interessant en onvergetelijk gebied om te beleven.
    Gratis onbeperkt wifi met een goed signaal in het appartement [netwerk 'Lidija'; toegangscode 0674995044] zodat u gemakkelijk in contact blijven en de meeste lokale bars en restaurants hebben ook gratis wifi - vraag hen om hun codes.
    Friendly caretaker Lidija ontmoet gasten, helpt als er problemen en is blij om vragen te beantwoorden en of aanbevelingen doen.
    Let op: er zijn 2 vrijwel identieke appartementen geadverteerd die naast elkaar zijn: links studio is iets groter en heeft een iets betere uitzicht dan naar rechts studio, zoals blijkt uit de foto's en een waarde iets hogere prijs, hoewel beide excellent / zoals geadverteerd.

    Parkeren is niet toegestaan ​​binnen de oude stad zelf (geen auto rook!), Maar men kan gratis parkeren in de buurt. Ga weg van de oude stad met de zee aan uw rechterhand, dan rechtsaf ongeveer 20 meter voor de enige rotonde en rijden door (kleine weg tegenover het Roda supermarkt parkeerplaats en slechts ~ 250 meter van het appartement). Als alternatief, als deze vol is rijd ik rechtdoor over de rotonde met de baai nog steeds op mijn rechter en het park op de eerste beschikbare ruimte aan de linkerkant voorbij het postkantoor (maar niet in de taxi ruimtes met gele lijnen!). Ik heb nooit problemen gehad met de auto diefstal of beschadiging in Kotor gehad. Op de markt / festival dagen of in het weekend 's avonds misschien heb je een beetje verder te lopen, maar je kunt altijd ruimtes ergens vinden!
    Als alternatief zijn er verschillende bijgewoond pay parkings, de meest handige zijn direct tegenover de oude stad hoofdpoort (~ 150/200 meter lopen van het appartement) en langs de haven / boot ligplaatsen, die op dit moment rekent ~ 90 cent per uur. Er is nog een betaald parkeren net buiten de oude stadsmuren direct aan de Dobrota kant van de oude stad, ongeveer op een vergelijkbare prijs.
    Let opnieuw Kotor lawaai en trap omhoog naar appartementen / harige vrienden!
    Terwijl het appartement is zeer gunstig gelegen dicht bij Kotor attracties en faciliteiten, het geheel van Kotor oude stad is levendig en kan luidruchtig zomeravonden. Hoewel dit appartement is stiller dan de meeste Kotor appartementen (het heeft rolluiken en dubbele beglazing), lichte slapers of degenen die liever rustige avonden in de zomer zou moeten overwegen om / slapen ver weg van de oude stad Kotor e. g. in Muo / Prcanj en goed uit de buurt van restaurants / bars, ook al moet je bus / rijden naar Kotor te krijgen.
    Hoewel de appartementen zijn uitstekend binnen, de hal en het trappenhuis aan hen soms katten en er kan soms een onaangename geur worden tijdens de minuut of zo om van en naar het appartement. Het appartement deuren zijn redelijk luchtdicht, zodat de appartementen zelf mag helemaal niet ruiken, tenzij je de voordeur open te laten (in dat geval laat de 3 ramen open voor een paar minuten!). De vrouw in het centraal gelegen appartement op de onderstaande verdieping (die op het voederen van katten in dit en de nabijgelegen gebouwen staat erop) wel en meestal niet het reinigen van de trap ongeveer elke dag, maar als er een kat puinhoop zichtbaar of trap reiniging nodig is, vermeld dit aan haar vriendelijke Engels sprekende zoon, die onder het linker studio die zal sorteren zaken of bel Lidija wie zal het opgelost leeft.
    De meeste mensen zijn niet gehinderd door het bovenstaande en waarderen met attracties en faciliteiten in de buurt Kotor en uitstekende appartement faciliteiten (zie recensies), maar studio niet aanbevolen als allergisch voor katten en / of een lichte slaper!
    Booking
    Neem contact met eigenaar via e-mail / via de website als u vragen hebt of een boek online eenmaal besloten. Websites niet toestaan ​​telefoonnummers of gebruikelijke e-mailadressen worden gedeeld, totdat na de boeking is gemaakt. Absolutely lovely place. Well equipped for my stay and the washer was a huge plus! The evenings could be quite lively from the music in the courtyard but it was actually pleasant most of the time. Well located in old town. Great communication and would definitely stay there again.

Sehr nahe im Zentrum. Die Parkplätze sind schwieriger zu finden als angegeben. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte das Appartment meiden. Wir fanden es super. Die Schränke waren nicht sauber aber wir haben einfach aus dem Koffer gelebt.

Steve's Kotor apartment was just perfect for our quick getaway.

Clean, bright, accommodating. Three words to describe our stay. The apartment is well-maintained and care is taken to keep it up-to-date. The two corner windows allow light and a breeze to come in and freshen up the apartment. At night the apartment is well-lit and the amount of light can be adjusted to suit one's needs. We made our own breakfast each morning; being able to have a refrigerator, stove, and kitchen sink (and cups, plates, and cutlery) helped us to feel right at home. We didn't use the television, but the Wifi definitely came in handy. Lidija was very helpful with getting us settled in and gave us some tips about where to eat and what to do in the area. Overall, it was a great place for us to stay and we look forward to booking it again when we visit the area another time.

Cozy Apartment, Great Location

Stayed as a single occupant in the left studio for just over a month. The studio is as shown in the pictures. Bright during the day, and a little cool in the evenings (especially during November). The place is very clean and the washing machine was a huge bonus for a long stay. The wifi worked well. And it is a very quiet location. Actually the whole city was peaceful to visit and not overcrowded with tourists. The stairwell was kept clean, and as it was a cooler month, I really didn't notice any cat smell. The cats that hang out in the stairwell are quite friendly. Lidija was very attentive and even arranged a cab for me up to the top of Lovcen. Kotor made for a great base to explore the nearby hiking trails, as well as the nearby cities (Budva is about 40 minutes away by bus). Would stay here again!

Lovely little place

My partner and I had a great time staying in the left studio. Out of season so it was quiet at night and a pleasant temperature, so I can't comment on noise or air con! The sofa folds out into a bed and bedding and towels are available. The shower is nice and the tiny kitchen area did us well for a week. Lidija welcomed us warmly and I feel she would have been able to sort out any issues if we needed. A few glitches with the TV and wifi once or twice but nothing that affected us greatly - and if it did we would have contacted Lidija. Having a washing machine was a nice addition. The stairway was clean despite a cat smell, but this didn't bother us. If you really don't like cats, Kotor in general is probably not the best place for you (one sat in my lap at a restaurant at one point). In general we were provided with all the information we needed and found Steve and Lidija helpful. Would stay here again!

Nice place to stay, but with some serious setbacks

positive: nice and relatively clean place in the middle of the old town (photos are quite accurate) helpful staff negative: cats smell - really awful especially combined with hot weather household appliance - fridge broke twice during our stay, air-conditioning once, some electric sockets not working, some cabinets falling apart etc. noisy location - there is live music every evening until 1 AM right next door and closing the windows wont sort the thing at all :)

Fantastic apartment, lovely stay in Kotor!

This studio is in a fantastic location right in the heart of the old town. The apartment is a perfect size, it is clean and well equipped. It is excellent value for money and is one of the best places we stayed whilst in Montenegro. Lidja was also very helpful and easily contactable. We would highly recommend a stay here!! Nice, but not cared

It is a nice appartment. It has a lots of TV-channels and the location is perfect. We did not feel confortable because of the following reasons: - The dishes were slightly sticky - The freezer had a broken door at the deep freezer -> the freezer had water everywhere - The mattress was laterally inclined - The shower was missing of a door - WLAN was only on the door and did not reach the table and the bed - In the stairs there was always smell of excrement from cats and birds and sometimes also visible excrements on the way. We think that the apartment can get many more stars, as it has a lot of potential, when these things get solved.

Beautiful little apartment in an amazing location!

We only stayed for 4 nights but we could easily have stayed longer. This little apartment is small but has everything you need. Well look after and is in a perfect location slightly off the main squares so is quieter in the evenings. It is an ideal base from which to go exploring in the old town of Kotor and around Kotor Bay. We would definately choose to come back to this place if we were coming back to Kotor. About the hall way outside from other reviews mentioning the smell of cats - we did not think it smelled bad (and the apartment surely didnt smell of cats whatsoever) but yes there are cats living in the hall way and some very cute kittens - which really didnt bother us. We had excellent service from Lidija who met us to take us to the apartment. She was always on call if we needed anything.

Fantastic apartment with great views!

This apartment is fantastic! The room itself is very nicely decorated with a comfy sofa/bed and nice matching furniture. The lighting is great (not always the case in old apartments) and gives a wonderful warm glow to the room at night. The internet was fast and consistent. The hot water heater worked well, too, which is something I always worry about. While the stairwell is grim (totally normal in old buildings), the apartment was spotlessly clean and bright. The bedding is soft and pretty, and everything you need is here—iron, drying rack, cleaning supplies, hairdryer, washing machine, dishes, electric kettle. There was even coffee, tea, and sugar in the cabinet when I arrived. There is also a good supermarket around the corner that sells anything else you might need. The views from the windows are spectacular, both in the daytime and at night (when the steps leading up to the fortress are lit up). Right outside one window is an orange tree, and the scent from the flowers waft in, which I really enjoyed. In spite of the trees outside the windows, there were no insects in the apartment, which was a pleasant surprise! Kotor can be a little noisy at night, but with the windows shut, I didn’t hear anything. The owner is very nice and helpful, as is his local property manager. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Kotor!

We stayed in this apartment for our honeymoon. Steve was very helpful with emailing about the apartment and the parking, etc. When we arrived in Kotor, we had trouble with our international phone and had difficulty reaching Lidija (who manages the flats) to let us in. But she waited and met us very late at night. She was so kind and helpful and was amazing to wait for us! The apartment appeared clean and cozy and in a good location in the historic part of town. Now for the negative part…when we arrived, there were at least 10+ cats in the stairway and it smelled of cat vomit, feces and urine. After Lidija let us in and as we were getting ready for bed, we realized that the same smell that was coming from the hallway was coming in through the bathroom. We shut the door, but the smell was all over the apartment. It was so overwhelming that we had difficulty sleeping. We thought about leaving that night, but it was so late and didn’t know if there would be anything open. We woke up very early the next morning and left immediately. I emailed Steve to let him know about the smell and he assured me that it was just from the hallway. Unless they fix this problem with the cats, I would not recommend staying here.

Couldn't be more in love with the place.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The room is large and incredibly light and airy - with views that really deserve the term spectacular - from the left window you look out across old buildings and onto the mountainous fortress walls, from the right, over a secluded and romantic courtyard. The room is beautifully decorated - excellent lighting, spotlessly clean and tasteful decor, and a good sized bathroom with decent shower. The bed is comfy and the fold-out construction of it useful, and there's plenty of storage. The TV has a number of English channels - Universal and BBC Entertainment to name a few, and the internet is highspeed and reliable. There's also a DVD player. The kitchen area is small but equipped with the basics, and with a good hob and fridge. The location is incredible. Kotor is an amazing destination, and this flat is slap bang in the middle of the old town. The nearest little market shop can be counted in steps (I'd guess 32), and town sprawling with beautiful restaurants and bars. The old town market is just outside of the gates two minutes away, Kamilija shopping centre is outside the other gate (and has a gym), just four minutes away. Dobrota beach and bars are about 6 minutes away. I lived here for two months and the flat was the perfect hub for playing out my 'girl about town' fantasy! Also, it should be mentioned that Lidija, who manages the flats, is incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful - answering the most mundane of queries and dropping everything to sort out the (very few) issues that I ever had. In order for this review to not appear too sycophantic, it's probably worth just dropping in two minor detractions. The flat itself is completely unaffected by it, but the staircase to the flat is occupied by a few cats, which is always... interesting. In addition, Old Town can be a bit 'party' come the weekend, but with the windows closed and the (particularly effective) air-con on, this makes little difference either - and as the world's biggest fan of sleeping, I'd be the first to complain if it was a real problem. I really had the most amazing time living in Kotor for the summer (so much so that I'm staying around the area for the whole year now). The place is all grand architecture, mountains and sea. The restaurants and alcohol are cheap enough that going out every night doesn't break the bank, and the flat is gorgeous and feels like home very quickly, providing a perfect base to explore from.
