The overhaul building needs maintenance, we arrived for a 6 week stay, the elevator was out of order, the security gate was also not working, leaving the parking available for none resident to park. A few times I had no space to park my rented car. The parking area was also used as a dump for contractors working on the premises. The condo itself was really not ready to be rented by the new owner living in Holland. His on site property manager ( Franky) was super in trying to resolved one problem after another. First the apartment was not clean, the bed linen was stained with God knows what, the mattress was dirty and eventually they replaced it arriving 3 weeks later from Holland. The A/C when wonky and needed servicing, the service tech said the unit had not been serviced and clean in years, the kitchen is really a kitchenette very small we needed to use a chair to put our plates on before bringing it to the table The bedroom is very small with an ensuite bathroom which needs a complete redo, the door to the ensuite is a louver door on a sliding rail, absolutely no privacy for a couple. The good news is the view from the balcony, BUT the condo is on a busy street so if you don’t mind really ridiculous noises from the locals that enjoy using the street as a race tract until the wee hours of the night, I guess if that doesn’t bother you then that’s OK. We sleept a few hours a night because of the noise. We did have a few encounters with cockroaches which freaked my wife out.
