'Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island'

'The staff were really nice and helpful for sure. The place has SO much potential but needs an injection of capital.. so many repairs/upgrades/maintenance needed. Plusses.. its the first resort from the ferry. You can walk there or a 2 minute drive. We were met and escorted (nice) but they need a much better sign out front (or you'd miss it). The pool/s are lovely, very clean and well maintained. A big plus. The rooms are comfortable with nice beds Breakfast was nice. Minuses .. the grounds...

'The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! '

'We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. At night, you can hear all the wildlife around you, which adds to the unique experience. During the day, the area is full of fascinating birds—perfect for nature lovers. 'I’ve stayed in this hotel three times on several occasions. It’s my favourite place. Just love the place so much. The beach is very close, a minute walk. Clean and lovely rooms. The drop off to the airport is at a very reasonable price. Definitely be staying here again.'
