'The hotel is perched on a mountain side overlooking the Whales Tale of Uvita. There is an animal preserve within walking distance that provided an excellent opportunity to learn about Costa Rica's incredible animal life. The staff were wonderful - always smiling and willing to assist in any way.'

'It seemed a very nice villa on top of the hills with a view. We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. Positives: - The view is very nice - the grounds are greener than on the pics - the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird! - the furnishing is nice wood, well...

'The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely...
