'I enjoyed my time at Doubletree Hotel in Carirari in Costa Rica. The property is really unique and the openness gave the hotel such an great vibe. While the property was a little dated, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was close enough to take an Uber to downtown San Jose to see some of the sites. The hotel has a shuttle for drop off and pick up at the airport. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the San Jose area. '

'Because our flight arrived in the evening we tried to pick a hotel with a costa rican touch near the airport. We selected the adventure inn and it worked out beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, ten minutes from the airport (pick up from hotel available), safe neighbourhood with a couple of good restaurants nearby and in the hotel itself. 'I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me.
