'Very secluded for a nice reset and self-made yoga retreat. This was a beautiful spot to sit for hours, watching birds, the sunset, and the volcano in the mornings, and to simply enjoy life in nature. I enjoyed walking down the hill to the earth lodge for food and coffee, and the Italian restaurant was perfect! '

The decor was very nice and reflected Guatemalan culture. I also appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that smelled wonderful and were locally made. The shuttle options were very helpful.'

'Definitely my favorite hotel ever!!! I loved the antiques!The Managers were wonderful and welcoming including the access to the kitchen. The roof patio and view… well what a sunset! 'Beautiful hotel. Very kind staff. We loved that we were about to get our laundry done at a small fee, that breakfast was included in our stay, and that they provided turn down service. The hotel is very close to many restaurants, we walked to the office of where our excursions were housed, and so many opportunities to shop and get coffee or ice-cream.'
