Cottage
We had a very nice stay in the cottage. It had 2 bathrooms which was splendid. Despite the weather we could visit everything we want, beaches in the north and at the west coast and the forest in Huelgoat. Brest is also a very nice city to visit!!

Oasis of tranquility - recommended
Our family of 5, and our dog, had a wonderfull stay at La Magaourou. The house was very clean upon arrival and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it was. The beds were very good and it was soo quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the location, in combination with the extensive flowerbed just beside the terrace. Sharon and Jules were very friendly and available when you needed something. It was a very nice holiday for us and the dog. The gïte is certainly to be recommended.

Rustig verblijf in een prachtige omgeving
We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren. Het huis was schoon en luxe. De keuken heeft alle benodigde apparatuur. We waren erg blij met het veiligheidshek dat voor de keuken geplaatst kan worden tegen nieuwsgierige peuters. De wifi en tv verbinding werken goed. De tuin is prachtig en kindvriendelijk. We hebben een geweldige week gehad!

Very comfortable, quiet, in the countryside
The house is comfortable and well equiped. The owners are kind and gave us our privacy. The house is in the countryside, so you need a half an our drive to the village and an hour to the coast. We had a very pleasant stay. Thanks.

Das Gastgeber Ehepaar ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in unserem Daheim. Der Garten ist grandios, die Lage absolut im Grünen und sehr ruhig.

Wonderful! So tranquil. Most of the time, all we could hear was the birds singing. Lovely, well-appointed gite with masses of space, en suite on main bedroom and separate family one. Kitchen with everything you could need. Massive garden. Truly relaxing and well-situated for trips all around Brittany!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la propriété de Sharon et Jules. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants de 3 à 13 ans), la maison est agréable et propre, bien équipée, le jardin est spacieux et très bien entretenu. Les hôtes sont accueillants, disponibles et très discrets. Il y a énormément de visites à faire à moins d'1h heure.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Bretagne
Das Ferienhaus ist in einem tollen Zustand und die Zimmeraufteilung für fünf Personen perfekt. Bei der Ausstattung hat es an nichts gemangelt, aber es gibt keine Spülmaschine. Was für uns kein Problem darstellte. Insgesamt in allen Belangen fünf Sterne! Wir planen bereits den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Un très beau séjour en Bretagne
La maison bénéficie d'un terrain immense, d'une terrasse idéalement exposée pour les petits dejeuners et d'un coin bbq aménagé. Elle est très bien équipée et tout cela dans le respect de l'architecture traditionnelle bretonne. Les hôtes sont particulièrement discrets. Enfin la région regorge d'activités diverses de musées, parcs animaliers, bateau, baignades, ballades en vélo etc. Bref notre famille a passé de formidables vacances.

Die Gastgeber Sharon und Jules sind sehr freundlich, kommunikativ und stehen für alle Fragen offen. Das Haus ist aus Natursteinen und im klassischen, bretonischen Stil gebaut. Es ist liebevoll renoviert und gemütlich eingerichtet. Umgeben ist das Haus von einem schönen Garten mit Grillplatz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe in der wundervollen Landschaft genossen.

Quiet well equipped rural accommodation in Western Brittany - recommended.
Quiet rural accommodation with all facilities we needed, and central enough location to enable us to explore the North, West and South coasts as well as nearer attractions such as the forest of Huelgoat, and only 10 mins drive from supermarkets etc. Sharon and Jules were perfect hosts and the accommodation is spacious and well equipped. Weather in February was (mostly) bettter than expected, but the woodburning stove ensured that the property was cozy throughout our stay. Recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful gite exactly as described. Stunning garden. Well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were the perfect combination of reassuringly present but giving privacy, in just the right balance. Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Great area with loads to do and visit. Perfect for family holiday with older teenagers. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. It’s a well-equipped cottage in a very peaceful rural setting, but close to lots of fascinating places to visit. Sharon and Jules were excellent hosts and we would love to return.

Living near an airport we had forgotten what quiet is. Accommodation is very rustic and could do with a little TLC, but the whole stay was enjoyable from beginning to end.. Weather was kind to us and it was a pleasure to sit out on the decking in the evening and watch the bats “ fly by “.

Tolle Location. Es hat alles, was man braucht. Gute Ausstattung und total liebe Hausherren. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gute Ausgangsbasis für alle Ausflüge. Für regionale Radtouren zu abseits, ausser man wird gerne von Hunden in der Nähe anderer Farmen gejagt.

Lovely gite - very spacious and clean in a peaceful location. Run by a very nice English couple who made us feel very welcome and lit a fire for our arrival. The only downside is that it doesn't have a dishwasher and the bed in the master bedroom is a little small. Other than it was perfect for our short break.

Peaceful and comfortable rite
We had an excellent fortnight stay at the end of August 2017 with our three children all under 9. The property is safe, warm, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine made the stay so much easier. The garden was wonderful and the children loved running around in it. The terrace was a great place to eat and also to be able to sit and enjoy a drink while watching the children who could come to no harm playing there. There was no busy road or other hazards make it great for kids. Sharon and Jules were excellent hosts, living next door but never intrusive and were very approachable with any problems. The kids loved them both as well as pet dog Beau. I would definitely recommend this property for a family holiday. The location is very rural but close enough to amenities and the beach. Most good places to visit, towns or beaches are within an hour. A car is most useful to visit this house. Also would be a great place for cyclists. Also lovely for bird watching and star gazing with clear dark night skies.
