This beautiful south-facing chalet for eight people is just 2.5km from the centre of La Clusaz, a traditional Alpine village with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. There's also a weekly market where you can pick up local cheeses and charcuterie.

Set in a quiet residential area, Chalet Alpachic has wonderful views of the Aravis mountains, and great access to the Balme and Confins ski area. In the summer, these are wonderful places for walking, biking and a range of family activities.

Whether you're working out in the private gym or watching the sun set over the Aravis mountains from the hot tub, Chalet Alpachic is sure to provide the perfect base for a wonderful holiday in this stunning area.

Chalet Alpachic is a traditionally-built wooden chalet for eight people. Its south-facing position makes the most of the sunny side of the valley, and the stunning views of the Aravis mountains - enjoy them from the hot tub, or from a sunbed on the lovely large terrace.

Accommodation is set over three floors. There's a double garage at street level, with a ski store and heated boot rack, as well as access to the laundry and the gym - keep yourself in trim with the exercise bike, treadmill or rowing machine.

The main living area is on the next floor An L-shaped open plan area has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a cosy seating area with a large corner sofa in front of an open fire. Curl up and catch up on your day, or perhaps enjoy a bit of star-gazing from the terrace. There's a cosy seating area with blankets for the winter, sunbeds for the summer, and room to eat outside if the weather allows. Summer or winter, the hot tub is always a favourite place for a relaxing evening.

There's a double bedroom on this floor, with an en suite shower room, and a separate toilet. Three more bedrooms are upstairs - a double and a twin, which share a bathroom and separate toilet, and a double room with an en suite shower room - check out the incredible views from the glass ceiling! All the bedrooms are restfully decorated in neutral shades, with crisp white bed linen and throws for a restful and cosy night. Fluffy towels are provided in the elegant bathroomS.

ABOUT THE AREA ...
There’s great skiing at La Balme, just 2km from Chalet Alpachic, with more choice at La Clusaz (2.5km), where there is weekly floodlit skiing. The ski bus stops 150m from the chalet, so you won’t waste any time getting to the slopes.

Your Aravis ski pass links La Clusaz to Le Grand Bornand, giving you more than 200km of pistes to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers, too, at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus.

Non-skiers will have no time to be bored with an ice-skating rink and cinema, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the heated outdoor pool at La Clusaz, while the snow falls gently around you.

In the summer, walking or biking in the mountains is a pleasure, and all the hard work is done for you if you take the ski lift to the top and come down at your own pace. Adrenalin junkies can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing, mountain-biking or white-water rafting. Via ferrata is a great family day out, with children as young as eight able to explore the mountains on iron walkways, secured to a harness. After a strenuous day, you’ll look forward to returning to Chalet Alpachic for a barbecue and a soak in the hot tub.

IMPORTANT: Sheets, towels and linens, as well as 1h30 of mid-stay cleaning are included in the price of your stay. Para-hotel services are offered to guarantee you a carefree and worry-free stay. If you wish to set up one of these services, please contact the manager once the booking is effective.
