'This was our second stay at this motel and I have to say it was as great of an experience as it was the first time. The owner is extremely friendly and went out of his way to ensure that our room was ready for us since we checked in exactly at 3pm. The motel is clean, comfortable and welcoming. 'My husband and I stayed one night and it was magical. The property is beautiful, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was delightful. It so comfortable! 'The staff and property were great. We arrived after check in time and had to wait 15 mins until our room was ready. Because of that, we were comped a free Margarita at the bar. Mattress was not comfortable because of slight dip in the middle. Kids running and screaming up and down the hallway at midnight. Final invoice charged us $3 for a bottle of water in the room, which we did not drink. They said they’d remove that charge, so, we’ll see. Unless nothing else is available, we won’t be staying...

'I liked that the hotel was new and the decor had a great asthetic! The furnishings were nice and modern! The rating was lower because there was a motion sensor in the rooms and the lights went out several times including when I was in the shower. It was funny at first after we discovered the issue, but quite annoying when it happened repeatedly. My son got up to use the restroom in the wee hours of the morning and the lights came on and disrupted my sleep.

'Very quiet place. The good restaurants are to be found downtown Ventura. Although the hotel is nice and quiet, the breakfast is way too overrated. It is a simple breakfast without possibility to order eggs or anything else. Even the toast machines are simple household toasters The plates are disposables like the plastic cutlery. In a Hilton hotel we expect at least metal silverware and decent plates and cups. '
