'We loved the every night's get-together at the Horse Bar with live music and drinks. Very cosy with a fire place. I did a 2-hours trail ride which was fun. The horses were in excellent condition. I did not like that they kept the saddle on the horse back the entire day while waiting for riders. Other than that everything was a wonderful experience.'

'Lovely little hotel. Close to the market. Very helpful staff who organized a driver to take us to the Cuicocha Lake, and pick us up after the hike. We struggled to find a bus to Latacunga but, again, the receptionist was very helpful in contacting the bus company. Luis took us to the bus stop and made sure we got on the right bus. Great service. Preis sehr günstig, man muss zwar jedes Mal drei Dollar fürs Taxi bezahlen, um dort weg zu kommen, aber trotzdem noch günstiger als sonstwo. Man kann mit der Familie essen (gut und günstig) und auch auf dem Hof mithelfen. 'A wonderful indigenous host farm family makes you feel welcome in their home. Guests have their own separate quarters and bath. The farm is small but busy and productive, with cows, food crops, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, fruit trees and veggies. The views from above Cotacachi are phenomenal. Volcan Imbabura is on one side of the farm and Volcan Cotacachi on the other.'
