Magic at Arenal

We had a wonderful time at Magic Arenal Sunset. Danny is a super responsive host. He also recommended great restaurants and assisted us with booking amazing activities. The house is in a great location just minutes from downtown La Fortuna. It was a great space for the four of us (two adults & two teens) to relax after our various adventures in and around Arenal.

Great spot!

This little house is just outside the main part of town. You’ll want a car, but not so far as to be inconvenient. The small cafe across the street is lovely. Danny, the waiter, is a great language instructor and resource for the area. The rooftop patio and small soaking pool are heavenly! We watched every sunset over the volcano

Beautiful Place to Stay

The house is very beautiful, clean, quiet, safe and there is a balcony with a great view of the volcano. The bedrooms are clean and has AC. However, there was no place to unpack and to organize your clothes. So you are living out of your suitcase. We had to use the couch to lay out the suitcases. Hot water is only available in one shower. All other sinks have only cold water even the kitchen sink. We always had breakfast at the house. It made it hard to do wash the dishes and clean up after our meals. In summary we enjoyed the stay there and would recommend it, however there could be some improvements to make this a 5-star.

We had an excellent stay, everything we needed was provided, home was clean and comfortable, close to town, restaurants, and things to do during the day, nice restaurant with excellent service directly across from the house (breakfast lunch and dinner)

Magic location

Great quiet location close to many things. Accessing property was not that easy as no clear instructions how to use key/remote and locks not like we are use to a had to turn several times in one direction but without instruction was a figure it out situation. One of the rooms needs new mattress as very uncomfortable otherwise all else fine.

Place overall was very nice. Only issue was the description showed 2 full beds and one queen. There was only 1 full bed and one queen and someone had to sleep on a hard couch.

Fabulous stay!

Excellent location, nestled in a quiet location, yet close enough to town. Very secure. Great food recommendations by host. Comfortable living space. We loved the rooftop deck and pool. The view of volcano was spectacular.

Cute little house with all eminities

Renovated and nice little house with Mount Arenal in backdrop from roof sitting area. Pool area is awesome for a private party. Little bit far from La Fortuna center with only fer houses around. Electric fence on outerwalls and remote controlled main door on property.

Nice place !

The amenities were great except bathroom I did not expected one to be outside I expected them both to be in the home. But we made it work. Overall a nice place to stay 3-5 minutes from town.Very nice neighborhood and the Delicias restaurant across the street was a God send!

Amazing private place to stay with plenty of space to spread out. Except the roof deck was claimed by an aggressive golden bellied flycatcher when we were there. Still a highly recommended comfortable getaway.

Perfect for relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Danny was a great host and responded promptly to all communication and had some good recommendations about local attractions and businesses. The pool was refreshing and the rooftop patio has an amazing view and a great place to relax. The second bathroom/pool bath was a bonus. We were 2 and very comfortable, 6 would be tight. The property was very secure. La Fortuna was about a 5 minute drive and most attractions were less than 30 minutes away.
