Short, but lovely stay
My husband and I were visiting LA from Ohio and planned an overnight trip to San Diego. This room was perfect! The host gave us wonderful ideas and suggestions for us to do during our short visit. He was there to welcome us and very friendly and helpful. Will plan a longer visit!

Couldn’t ask for a better first Vrbo
This was the first time I’ve ever used Vrbo and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. There was water, coffee, tea, cream, sugar and cups for us to use and the microwave and fridge worked perfectly for us. Thank you!

Quaint and convenient
The property was perfectly located for my activities in La Jolla, and was within walking distance of some good restaurants. No troubles with parking or check-in. The hosts were very responsive.

Convenient Bird Rock Base
A good place to stay for a quick trip to La Jolla and UCSD area. This is a well thought-out decorated basement under the owners' house. Nice amenities in the room and adjoining bed area. All the windows have frosted glass and it's a basement, so realize that this place does not have views to the outside, nor alot of natural light. Bed is soft and foam-like. Open the windows and turn-on the ceiling fan for fresh air circulation. Friendly and responsive hosts. A convenient base of operations for a quick visit to the area.

Great location
We had a great stay in this basement property with its own entrance. There are no frills (just a small fridge/microwave), but the accommodations were comfortable and walkable to a number of great spots. We wanted to be near friends who we were visiting in this neighbor and this place was perfect for our needs - would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to a hotel but don’t need all the amenities of a full house.

La Jolla Sweet Spot!
My cousin and I absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful little pad. The bedroom with door enclosed a comfortable queen bed complete with sound machine and nice lamp. The sleeper sofa was also comfy. We appreciated the mini fridge and coffee/tea left for us. Place is immaculately and tastefully decorated and can't beat the location. Host warm, welcoming and helpful!

La Jolla Getaway
This was the perfect quaint place to stay for my boyfriend and I. It has 1 bathroom with everything you need and very communicative and helpful hosts who live just above the casita. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in LaJolla!

lovely area and very clean
Very clean, great location, looked like it was recently remodeled. Downside is there is no outdoor area on the premises to enjoy the beautiful weather. Not really an issue because the beach is a short bike ride.

Clean, convenient
Nice basement suite in a newer house near UCSD and the beach. Owner was helpful in letting us stay longer after we had a work emergency come up that required us to have WiFi before we hit the road for a long drive.

Great Place, Great Hosts, & Great Location
This is a fabulous one bedroom suite that is so much nicer and so much better than staying in a hotel! The location is ideal and close to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and beaches! The hosts are incredible and responded to any need we had immediately. We brought our bikes and were able to bike and walk around PB and La Jolla. We love visiting San Diego had a great time. We would absolutely stay here again.
