This property is located in Corralejo, a lively coastal town in northern Fuerteventura known for its relaxed atmosphere and proximity to natural attractions. Nearby you’ll find the Corralejo Natural Park, famous for its expansive sand dunes and beautiful beaches with clear turquoise waters. The area also offers easy access to the town center, where there are shops, restaurants, and a small harbor with ferries to Lobos Island. Additionally, the coastline is popular for water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, and snorkeling.

Getting around Corralejo is easy and suits all types of travellers, combining the possibility of leisurely strolls with various transport options for longer distances. Here is a summary of the best ways to get around:

On foot: The centre of Corralejo, including the old town, the port and the main street (Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen), is mostly pedestrianised and very pleasant to explore on foot. You can easily access a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and urban beaches such as Playa de los Verilitos (Waikiki Beach) or Playa del Muelle Chico.

By bicycle or electric scooter: This is a very popular and practical option. There are numerous rental shops offering road bikes, mountain bikes, electric bikes and scooters. They are ideal for riding along the promenade, visiting the dunes of the Natural Park or simply getting around town more quickly.

Bus (Guagua): The local bus service, run by the Tiadhe company, is an economical way to get around. Line 06 connects Corralejo with the capital, Puerto del Rosario, and stops at key points such as the area of the large hotels next to the dunes. Line 08 connects Corralejo with the village of El Cotillo, another highly recommended visit.

Taxi: There are several taxi ranks throughout the town and it is easy to find one available. They are a convenient option for specific journeys, such as going to the Great Beaches of the Natural Park or returning to your accommodation at night. Prices are regulated and reasonable for short distances.

Car hire: If you plan to explore not only Corralejo but also its surroundings or the rest of Fuerteventura, hiring a car will give you complete freedom. Although parking in the centre can be difficult in high season, it is the best option for discovering hidden coves and getting around at your own pace.
