'Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. 'This house was a dream cabin that gave 14 family members space to spread out and room to gather all together around one table. We were a group of four generations ages 5-85. The cabin has such a cozy esthetic and is spacious and comfortable with incredible views of the Apostle Islands and sunsets. '

'What’s a gem! This home is spotless, charming, unique, and welcoming; the description does not do justice for how wonderful the sauna and yoga situation is. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend you consider this place for your next Madeline Island getaway! Look forward to being back very soon. 'The property was perfect for our young family - the screened in porch allowed for many card games, meals (and a few naps!) within view of Lake Superior. 'We really enjoyed our stay on Madeline island! The house was great! We enjoyed time on the beach and were glad for the lift up the hill between the beach and the house.
