Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, quiet but close to everything. The property is spacious enough for a short getaway. The owner was nice and quick to respond to questions.
However, we did encounter a few inconveniences:
There's no central AC and given that this is a popular summer destination, that should probably be more clearly stated in the description.
There was no extra toilet paper, paper towels, or hand soap provided. Luckily we brought our own, but in our previous experience staying at other properties, extras of these were always available on site.
The insides of cabinets, grill, outdoor table, etc were not very clean and we to do quite a bit of cleaning on our own prior to settling in and using everything.
The kitchen equipment was a bit lacking compared to our past experiences with similar properties. One cutting board was small and warped, one was very slick and dangerous to cut on. The big kitchen knife was completely dull and unusable. The frying pans weren't in the best shape either, but worked ok for our short stay.
I had also reached out prior to booking to confirm the size of the two beds in one of the bedrooms and was told they are both Queens. However, when we got there we realized they were both Full size. Again, not the end of the world, but not exactly what we were hoping for.
Overall, a decent stay, but some improvements could be made.
