Welkom bij OLYMPIC-NATIONAL een uitje voor het gezin, gelegen aan de rand van het Olympisch Nationaal Park aan de kust van Rialto Beach. Met niets dat u scheidt van het park, bent u ondergedompeld in rust en stilte tussen de massieve bomen van het bos. Op dit bijna 30 hectare grote terrein kunt u genieten van honderden voet van de rivier en bijna een halve mijl van Olympic National Park voorgevel. De zalmrun op de Quillayute-rivier is een van de beste in de regio. Gasten merken dat het huis perfect gelegen is om Olympic National Park te verkennen, omdat het zo dicht bij zoveel attracties ligt.

De vakantiewoning is in Cape Cod-stijl met een open haard met rivierrots en een moderne keuken. Shaker- en Craftsman-stijlen benadrukken het interieur en een grote kamer opent naar een groot terras op het zuiden dat uw entertainment en zonnen vergroot. Dit is een modern huis met nieuwe voorzieningen, apparatuur en meubels, evenals computergestuurde airconditioning en verwarming, er zijn geen sleutels nodig om het huis binnen te komen, licht dimmen en sensoren maken uw verblijf gemakkelijk en comfortabel.

Elanden, herten en Amerikaanse zeearenden komen hier thuis. De eland verlaat het park om te grazen in het weiland onder het dek en kale adelaars wonen aan de rivier waar hun favoriete visgat zich bevindt.

WANDELEN: Er zijn paden op het terrein en in de buurt, waaronder Rialto Beach, Hole in the Wall, Lake Ozette, First / Second / Third Beaches, James Lake en anderen. De samenvloeiing van de rivieren Sol Duc, Bogachiel, Quillayute en Dickey liggen binnen een straal van 3,2 km. Het Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Ruby Beach en het strand van Kalaloch liggen allemaal binnen een uur van hier. Lake Ozette is slechts een 8. 5 mijl reis door raaf.

VISSEN: Voor sportvissers heeft het rivierfront een van de beste zalmgaten in de regio en is het de thuisbasis van de beste inheemse visserij in de Amerikaanse visserij. Heilbot en oceaanvissen is verkrijgbaar bij LaPush. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor auto's en boten op trailers en er is ruimte om tenten op te zetten indien nodig. De grindbar langs het terrein is een uitstekend stuk vliegviswater en het is een geweldige plek om te vissen. De Quillayute gastheren chinook, coho, sockeye en soms roze zalm. Sea-run moordenaar forel zijn er in overvloed. Een visvergunning is niet vereist om te vissen in Olympic National Park; je hebt echter een gratis vangst van zalm / steelkop nodig als je deze vissen richt. De grindbar wordt gedeeld met Olympic National Park.

Een HD-tv met groot scherm en een kabel met ShowTime en andere premiumkanalen geven u toegang tot een selectie films en tv-programma's. High-speed internet en WiFi zijn ook aanwezig voor uw streamingplezier. Een computerwerkplek biedt comfortabele zitplaatsen en meerdere USB-oplaadstations.

We stayed for one night during our travels through ONP. It was perfect. The home is very private and a short drive to Rialto Beach. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and well maintained. We loved the oversized washer and drying for quick laundry turnaround as well as the very well stocked kitchen making the stay a breeze! The communication with Jim was flawless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Olympic getaway

This property exceed our expectations. The furnishings in the house were high quality - comfortable beds, good kitchen appliances and gear for cooking, bathrooms nicely updated, etc. As others note, the location is unbelievable -- we walked down to the river several days to fish or watch the sunset, we walked a few steps to the 1mile trail in ONP to the Mora Ranger Station, or we enjoyed just walking around the property enjoying the mature trees. It's set far back out of sight of the road and the neighbors, so the only noise is the birds chirping!Location is a good central hub for exploring different parts of Olympic NP and Olympic peninsula. The property has a good selection of hiking guides to help you pick where to go (Ozette Lake was our "hidden gem" find for the trip!), as well as guides on local fishing and history.

Trees, Trees, Trees!

We all enjoyed this comfy, warm and roomy home so much, we tried to add another night! Gorgeous location surrounded by National Forest, comfy sofas and wood burning fire place and well stocked kitchen to whip up any comfort food your heart desires. The beds were comfy. Jim was so responsive and helpful. This house is on our list for future visits, because we need another round of Olympic NP.

Amazing location

The location of the this place is unparalleled - bordering the Olympic National Park and as close to Rialto beach as you can get without camping. Loved the location. The house itself was super clean and adequate, though incredibly generic and meh. The new carpet has lots of off-gassing that I smelled immediately upon arriving. That said, the owner has been very intentional about stocking the kitchen and place with everything one needs for cooking and a comfortable stay.

perfect vacation house

Everything about this house and location was great! We enjoyed being so close to the ocean and taking walks down to the river every evening was wonderful. The house was very nice it had everything we needed. The owner is very thoughtful and communication with him was great. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone going to that area.

Wonderful Stay

We had a group of 6 adults (friends and family) stay at the property, which was clean, well-maintained, comfortable and well located. Everyone in the group was pleased. The house is located in a beautiful area. On our first night, near sunset, we sat on the deck (off the dining room, in the back of the house) and saw elk just beyond the backyard. It was magnificent.

Great location to explore the south western part of the park. Rialto Beach 7 minutes away & Hoh Rain Forest is a little more than an hour. We squeezed in a lot in just 3 days. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Mark B July 2024

Olympic Moments

This is our second time stay and just as magical as the first. Location is one of the best on the peninsula; home is cozy, clean and quiet. Whether hanging out and watching the local wildlife or spending the day at the nearby beaches and park land, the moments we had are some of the best memories in the ONP.

Great National Park Visit

Our family of 4 came out to stay to explore the Olympic Coast. The access to the areas we wanted to go was excellent. We cook all our meals, and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to find things. It was a great place to spend a few days on the Olympic Peninsula.

Gem in the ONP

This house and property are fantastic. If we could rate it higher, we would. The quiet seclusion plus the daily visits from the local elk herd make this place magical. The house is spacious yet cozy and very clean. It has all you need to be at home on your vacation. The access to the park is phenomenal with short drives to multiple beaches and rain forest hikes. Amazing week!

We absolutely loved this property and our visit to ONP! We were able to set up our base camp here and travel to all of the major park sights. The property was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We even got to see Elk in the pasture on our last morning. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Magical forest and river

The forest and river on the property are fantastic because you're essentially surrounded by the Olympic National Park. The location is also ideal for exploring the many nearby beaches and the Hoh rainforest. In particular, the Second Beach trail is a short hike to tidepools (near the north of the beach, but not all the way to the arch) that had exceptional marine life at low tide. With binoculars, we had good views of whales and seals offshore! The home and outdoor deck were comfortable, clean, and convenient. The host was helpful and responsive. The water level in the river on the property was lower than usual when we visited, but that enabled us to walk on the smooth rock beds along the river, enjoying the gorgeous views and the beautiful colors and shapes of the river pebbles. Of all the terrific places we stayed in the Pacific Northwest, this property is the one where my husband wants to return.
