For air travel, Palm Springs International Airport is a 20-45 minute drive from most desert destinations, while Ontario and Los Angeles International Airports offer alternative options. Interstate 10 runs along the northern side of the Coachella Valley, offering easy access to all desert cities, whether you’re traveling from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego to the west, or Phoenix and Las Vegas to the east and north.
While ride-shares are an option, renting a car is recommended for any extended stay to fully experience all the area has to offer.
