Children's Paradise!

The kids LOVED this place! The pictures of the property are absolutely accurate. This is a very professionally managed house. (There are even labels on all the drawers in the kitchen.) As light sleepers though, this property was not for us. The close proximity to a very busy road was rough. Zoom zoom all night long. And the trailhead across the street opens up at 5:30 am. There are alarms chirping and chatter starting very early. Overall, it's a fun house for kids, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Pool/hot tub gave most of us bad rash. Alerted the owner and property manager, pool guy confirmed a higher than normal reading. So we were not able to enjoy the pool the entire trip.. Owner did not offer to try and make it right in any way…

Perfect Desert Getaway with Friends

This property is really beautiful, next to a great desert hiking trail, in an upscale community, and only 35 minutes to Palm Springs and 1 hour to Joshua Tree NP. We stayed for a week with family friends — 7 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs in all — and had room to spread out. We used the excellent hot tub/pool twice per day, drank coffee on the porch, played on the basketball court, cooked dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, and watched movies and played games at night. It was a relaxing retreat and a great base for exploring the area..

Excellent Stay and Home in La Quinta

The photos for this property are spot on so if they compel you to book, I can say you'll be even more pleased in person. We had 5 children 6 years and younger and this home is made for families with young kids. I cannot recommend it enough if you're looking to have a good family getaway in the desert.

Nice break in the desert

We stayed for four days in February. The house itself is largely as pictured, with some mild wear and tear. The pool and hot tub were lovely. The playground equipment and play room were very nice and lots of fun for kids. The house itself is at the end of la Quinta cove at the trailhead. The neighborhood is ok. There is some road noise and noise from cars parking and leaving the trails lot. The back yard has a nice table for dining and grill and heaters. The trash should be kept somewhere else though because of the smell. The kitchen is stocked fairly well with cups and plates and some ok cookware. I think the price point of this house is somewhat inflated due to covid and the kid stuff included on property. It desperately needs nicer linens, pillows, and towels.

R&R with family

The house was well equip. The playroom, pool, and playground were a big hit with the kids. We had a difficult time with the thermostat controls, but the manager, Amanda came right over to help us with it and she checked back with me the very next day to make sure it was working properly. 😊 The regular coffee pot wasn’t working properly, but they had a Kerig which we used. We had a great time.

Kids’ Paradise

We stayed here over Christmas with our family of 10, including 4 children under 5. It was an awesome house to entertain kids during Covid when we were trying to stay in the house as much as possible. We stayed in the house all week besides a couple quick hikes on the great trails that are directly behind the house. The kids had an absolute blast! The room with the built in playhouse/slide also had a cute table and chairs, kitchen toys, and a large castle. Between that kid heaven and the outdoor swings, climbing toys, and of course the awesome (and also super kid friendly) pool, the kids were totally entertained the whole time! Loved that the pool had a fence and a cover for ultimate kid safety. There are also lawn games! Kids would fall asleep early every night from playing hard all day (score!) The adults had a great time too- we all enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and well-appointed kitchen. We had one little issue and the property manager responded promptly and adequately. House is not as spotless/brand new as the pictures make it seem. It’s been “lived-in” a bit since those pictures, but still very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals at home, but could use a few new pans. We’d come again (we might need to soon as our kids are already begging to go back!)

This property is amazing! Truly from the moment you enter the gate you are awed. The house is beautiful and spotless. The layout is a little quirky but works. Since you are at the trailhead, be aware that there is wildlife. My husband came face to face with a mountain lion in the front yard, literally. It took off when he flashed the flashlight on it...but WOW. Beautiful place. The grounds are spectacular. And Amanda was quick and responsive which is really what matters in these rentals. Would absolutely stay there again!

Magical place!!

Really good time with family and friends. Spacious, good location, beautiful decor, fun for all ages. Felt like our own home away from home. Everything we needed was here. Fyi-We stayed in Sept and were automatically charged for the pool heating fee. I made the rental agent aware and she credited us immediately. Also, I didn’t receive instructions until I requested check-in instructions. The agent was very responsive. Overall we would love to return to enjoy this magical place. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

perfect home for young families

We travelled with our 5 kids + 2 grandchildren (ages 1+3). This house was perfect in every way. It was very clean, the pool was exactly the right temperature, kitchen well stocked, more than enough linens and super comfortable beds. The master bedroom/bath is beautiful. We rented a crib and our daughter stayed in the casita with her baby. Worked very well, and we will definitely return! Amanda was a pleasure to work with!!!

Excellent house for kids!

We had a wonderful time in this house. There were plenty of toys and activities for the kids at the house, which was really convenient. It allowed us to pack lighter and the fence around the pool was really nice. The rental company was very helpful and responsive. Great area for grilling and the pool was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience.

Best Vacation House!

I can't say enough great things about this house - spacious, perfect layout, great amenities, and great location. Since it's on the end of the street, there was a lot of privacy and it's in a perfect location if you're interested in hiking/walking trails. There were 12 people total in our group, (9 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 infant) so space is usually a big factor. We fit comfortably in the house and the outdoor amenities were perfect for the kids. The pool/hot tub was easy to use and instructions were spot on. Tara was in touch to ask how we were doing and even allowed us to check out later in the day since they did not have guests checking in. Such a nice gesture that was really appreciated! If I had any complaints, it would be that there should be more plastic plates, glasses, etc because with all the house offers, you want to take full advantage of the outdoors. Obviously you can see I'm reaching here to find any cons to our stay. Our family prefers to rent homes during our stays and we all agree, hands down, this is the best house we've rented so far. We really hope to return in the future!

Wonderful House

Great house in a great location. My family and I really enjoyed our time here. You can tell that this place was built with finishes appropriate for an owner user. If I had one recommendation, it would be that the kitchen utensils and cookware get upgraded. Other than that, what a great place!

Perfect vacation getaway home with an unbelievable view!

The place was even nicer than the pictures portray! Everything was clean and incredibly well stocked. From kitchen supplies to towels, speakers, and pool floats, they have thought of it all. Tara was incredibly accommodating and super responsive. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and look forward to staying again!

The Perfect Getaway!

This home was AMAZING to stay at! The owner Tara was great at communication throughout the whole weekend which I greatly appreciated. Outside of that the home was perfect, it was clean, fully stocked with towels, pots, pans, silverware etc. It was a perfect place for adults and children, I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for sharing your home with my friends and I we loved it!!

Stunning, beautiful, fully equipped, clean

We absolutely loved this house, the pool, the kitchen. So many rooms for sleeping arrangements and bathrooms. Very clean and well kept. The property management were pleasant and so easy to communicate with. Definitely exceeded our expectations. We can not wait to come back!

Spacious, Beautiful and Fun

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house was spacious, modern, clean and had everything you could ever need. You are far enough from the crowds, but close enough to town if you need anything. The pool area was relaxing and the mountain views were awesome! Everything is updated and nice. My parents loved the casita. We would love to visit again! This place is a gem!

Great location, house, and amenities.

Everything as promised and more. Great property, yard, house and amenities. Host was amazingly responsive and always quick to address any questions before and during our stay. House and property very well maintained, safe and easily accommodates a group of 10 including children without a snag. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful desert home

We had a fabulous stay at Tara’s home. It was furnished beautifully, with every little thing we could need. The pool was our central hangout during the day, and we enjoyed drinking coffee in the backyard in the mornings. Tara was very responsive and helpful. A definite must-stay!
