very nice place!
Very nice house with enough space, nicely furnished with a spaceous garden with lemon trees. The house is on a quiet site near the railway station and city centre. Recommended!

Very comfortable in a unique location. Has all your needs. Lots of walking to find restaurants and markets. Great exercise. Must use trains to visit Cinque Terre Villages.

Gracious Hosts, Beautiful Villa
Outstanding accommodations close to the train station and city center. Clean, fresh, spacious, clear instructions, comfortable - attention to every detail made our stay effortless. Outdoor patio is the perfect setting overlooking the hills surrounding La Spezia. There are a number of steps to get up to the property, but the trek is totally worth it. These hosts are first class.

Gorgeous view but prepare to walk!
We loved out accommodations. The house was spacious and the hosts were very helpful. Pros-big bedrooms, big washrooms, clothes washer, dishwasher, close to train station and restaurants, great views, quiet. Cons-many stairs to walk up from town to the house (263 total). Mattress in the bedroom with ensuite bathroom if extremely hard and uncomfortable. La Spezia is a great location with lots to do and a good home base to access CT.

Perfect place, perfect host!
We used the apartment to explore the surrounding towns. The beds were comfortable, showers were wonderful, and air conditioning kept it cool. Nice patio to watch the city too.

Great place to stay!
This was a very nice place with an incredible view of La Spezia and the surrounding mountains. The location was in close proximity to everything you would need. Train station, restaurants, city center. The only downside is that it is a pretty good hike to get up to the apartment, especially if you have any luggage. I would recommend a taxi.

Silvia & Fausto were wonderful in providing transported to and from the train station with our heavy luggage even when we needed to leave at 7 AM. The apartment is spacious and very clean with a beautiful patio area. We had a wonderful time in La Spezia exploring and spending one day in Cinque Terre. Thank you for such a lovely homebase that met all our needs during our time in La Spezia.

Beautiful home
I really loved this home. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. There is room to lounge around and have privacy within the home. My girlfriends and I stayed here for a couple days and I wished we had more time. This is definitely a place I would love to stay in for several days with my family. The host was wonderful as well. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful Apartment in La Spezia
This is a beautiful apartment close to the centre of La Spezia, yet in a peaceful location. We found the location perfect for exploring Cinque Terre by train and the surrounding areas by car, and we were pleased to have use of the private parking space that can be rented separately.. The apartment is very comfortable, was spotlessly clean, and has nice views over La Spezia. We enjoyed the large terrace with lemon trees too. We can thoroughly recommend, and if we ever come back to the area again would definitely choose to stay here. Silvia was a lovely host and had supplied a lot of tourist information in the apartment. Thank you very much :)

The Masked Huday
We have just left after 8 nights here at Casa de Bruna and what a superb time we have had, even if it meant wearing a mask around Ls Spezia and the Cinque Terre most of the time. The villa is close to the station but you need to be fit to climb the stairs up to it. Trains are plentiful along the coast and the walking routes around the 5 villages of Cinque Terre are well marked. The scenery is stunning and the villages are quaint and colourful. We are so pleased we decided to be brave and travel from the UK to Italy for a break. It has been great in all aspects, our accommodation, the food, the lack of crowds and even the weather, as we seen done great lightening across the hills and very stormy seas.

The perfect VRBO in La Spezia
We have stayed at VRBO's for many years and this was the cleanest home we have every stayed in. It is perfectly located to enjoy historic La Spezia and so convenient to train and ferries. Highly recommend to all. Elisa is great.

Merveilleux séjour !
Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à La Spezia. La Casa di Elisa est très bien située (5 min de la gare, 10 min du centre ville et 20 min de l'embarcadère à pied). C'est une maison très confortable et agréable. Petit-déjeuner et diner dans le jardin au milieu des citronniers et des lavandes était un vrai bonheur pour nous qui vivons à Paris. Et les parents d'Elisa qui nous ont accueillis ont été vraiment charmants. Cette région est magnifique, n'hésitez pas !

LOVELY
Our party of four had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious and modern yet full of charm and situated within five minutes walking distance to the train, restaurants, markets etc. Elise was great; always replying promptly to any questions. So happy we stayed at Casa di Bruna.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa di Bruna!
Elisa picked us up from the train station on time and made several trips in order to accommodate all of our luggage. The house was beautiful and very clean! The train station is only about 5 minutes away if you are walking and very easy to get along to Cinque Terre by train. We made it to all 5 towns in 1 day. I would highly recommend this property, we will be back!!

Awesome Place and Awesome Hosts!!!!!
From the moment we booked we were very happy with everything. They answered all of our questions so we were very informed before we arrived. When we arrived in La Spezia our hosts picked us up at the train station and did not 1 but 2 trips as there were 6 of us. They also did 1 trip when we left bringing all our luggage to the train station. Fausta helped us with the luggage and Elise was so friendly and helpful. The place was very spacious for the six of us. Very clean and spacious home. The kitchen was amazing with everything you need as we went to the market and cooked our meals each night. What a spectacular view from the back terrace. We spent hours out there at night drinking wine and having dinner. It is very close to the train station (Elise showed us the shortcut), also very close to the market and town. It was very convenient for us to take the train to cinque terre. I would highly recommend this place and if we are ever back in cinque terre I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to go back. Thanks for making our time there so special. Grazie

Beautiful place, convenient location, nice owners
We liked staying in La Spezia instead of in one of the Cinque Terre towns. La Spezia is a real town with lots of choices of good restaurants, grocery stores, shopping,public transit and a pretty plaza which was fun to walk on. Ferry is close by for going to Cinque Terre. We also took the bus to Porta Vanera for visiting castle, eating and swimming. We took a water taxi to the nearby island to swim. Beaches were rocky but the water was nice to swim in. Best swimming was at Monterosso which we got to by ferry. Gorgeous water, swimming and can rent a lounge chair and umbrella for access to the private beach and changing facilities. Went to a great restaurant nearby on cliff with beautiful view. La Casa di Bruni was beautiful, very nice interior and bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Loved the patio with lemon trees and lavender overlooking the mts and town. Do be aware there are 60 steps to climb from road to apt. Owners were very nice in helping carry suitcases as well as picking us up and dropping us off at train station close by.

Great property close to the train station
This house was beautiful. It is an older home that has been renovated. The one disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning and on the 30C days, the house was very warm even with the fans going. The property owner was GREAT! She sent her dad to pick us up at the train station as it is ALL uphill from there with lots of stairs. We thoroughly enjoyed it and our courtyard with the lemon trees especially in the morning!

Space to rejuvenate and access Cinque Terra villages
We were very happy to have a full kitchen, including oven and dishwasher, and a washing machine in our flat. The view from our bedroom was great and we could hang our washing outside to dry. WE could also eat inside or outside as the flat we stayed in had both kinds of spaces. We stayed in the upper flat, but our friends stayed with another couple in the lower flat. Both were beautifully furnished with old and new touches. Elisa, our contact for the booking was extremely helpful and accommodating. They picked all of us up at the train station which is quite close and there is a short walk to the village to pick up food supplies. There are many stairs in La Spezia and to this flat, so if you have problems with stairs, this wouldn’t be suitable for you, but if you need incentive to get yourself in shape for hikes in Cinque Terra, and you want a homey place with a garden to spend some comfortable time in, this is gorgeous accommodation with great owners. Each flat, the upper and the lower has two bedrooms and they book separately.

Excellent location for visiting Cinque Terre. PERFECT HOSTS!
THE PERFECT HOSTS!! Silvia and her husband greeted us upon arrival at the train station! WIth 5 adults and 1 child having someone help with our luggage and driving us to their property was so very appreciated! Even upon departure early in the morning they took our luggage to the train station! Only a 10 minute walk from the train station! The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was totally equipped as we cooked a great deal. 2 Bathrooms were spacious and very modern. Having a washer and clothes line helped tremendously! FRESH LEMONS From their home for us to enjoy was a treat!! MY youngest made fresh squeezed lemonade !! Check out La Spezia harbor and a MUST is the bus to Portovenere

A lovely and cosy home in a quiet neighborhood.
Our family of five spent two weeks in Italy and La Casa di Bruna was our favorite accommodation. The home is even more beautiful than the photos and Elisa is a most gracious hostess. Upon our arrival, she made two trips to the train station to bring our family and all of our luggage to the home. Yes, there are a few flights of stairs to climb up to the house, but most of our apartments were located up four or five flights of stairs, so we were very accustomed to this. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood and such a treat after spending many nights in busy cities! The home was spotless, all of the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to make a wonderful meal to enjoy in the back yard. A short walk into the town and there is access to everything you might need ~ grocery store, bakery, open air markets, shopping, etc. The port area is beautiful with ferries available to Portovenere, Cinque Terre and other destinations. We loved the backyard patio filled with lemon trees and lavender and a swing! I truly enjoyed sitting on the swing and watching the sun rise in the morning and set at night. The lemons are wonderful, so aromatic and full of juice! We stayed for only two nights, but wish it had been longer. I highly recommend La Casa di Bruna and would definitely stay again if we return!

Beautiful accommodations perfect location
This rental is beautiful attention to detail everywhere . Very spacious and a beautiful terrace with an amazing view. Location is perfect for traveling into Cinqua Terra. About 5 minute walk to the train station. Lots of steps to wear off the Gelato and wonderful food . La spezia itself is a wonderful town to tour lots of shops and great restaurants. I will return again to this rental ! The owners are very helpful, they repaired a flat tire on our car and assisted us in all matters we needed assistance with. 5 Stars all the way!! Thanks Elisa.

Perfect
We really enjoyed our stay in La Spezia. The house was comfortable, well stocked for cooking at home and very spacious. It has been thoughtfully renovated to accommodate travelers. Our hosts were always available and very helpful. The location was great for visiting the Cinque Terre only about 20 minute train ride. The train station is about a 10 minute walk away but not an easy walk with luggage so if you don't have a car it might be best to take a cab or something, otherwise no problem. There are also many steps to get to the home so this location is not for people that have trouble with steps. We fully enjoyed our stay and we hope to return one day. So far or best accommodations in Italy. Thank you Elisa and family for making us feel at home in your home.

Quaint Apartment
We enjoyed our brief stay here in La Spezia. The rooms and beds were adequate and spacious enough. It was a great place to stay if you want to catch the train to Cinque Terre. It was a five-minute walk to the train station and very easy to navigate. Elisa, the caretaker and owner, was very nice and flexible. It worked for our family of six - a little tight - but it works. I would warn of two things. First, there was not parking on the street so we had to park at the train station. We dropped our bags at the house and then I drove back down to park. It is only a five minute walk, but when going to the house from the train station, it is up steep stairs. If you don't like to walk or do it with difficulty, this may not be the property for you. It was fine for our family (youngest child is 13). The house does not have air conditioning either. In the summer months, it can be a little warm. Still a great place and value that is close to Cinque Terre. Our kids loved the views overlooking the city and the backyard swing for pictures.
