Winter in LaGrange
This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed ourselves as usual. It was cold later in the week and rained really hard Tuesday and Wednesday. Our minivan got stuck in the mud. We could not get it out. Before we even had a chance to call anyone, the owner came and pulled us out. Thank God for him and his friend. Even though the fish wasn't biting, the place was so inviting and comfortable as usual. We are looking forward for our 3rd visit.

First trip to Lagrange with our almost 4 year old son. Chose to stay here for the lake to fish. We didn’t catch much til the last day. The walk down wasn’t bad but is steep coming up. Property looks just as pics listed. Everything was clean and we were able to make ourselves at home. We did get locked out one time bc the doors stay unlocked from inside. Took a couple calls to Angie and she got right back to me. Would stay again.

Staying at West Point Lake
Enjoyed the quiet setting. The outside amenities were nice. The common areas inside (den, kitchen and dining room) were spacious. However, I don't think that this house should be advertised as suitable for four adults. The smaller bedroom could hold three or four small children but it is too small for two full sized adults.

Home away from home
This house is so comfortable and you really feel right at home. Everything you need is there . Perfect for any time of the year. The beds make you feel like your sleeping on clouds . I absolutely love this home you will not go wrong with it !

Great spot
This is a lovely property. It's a well maintained and furnished house... especially a nice kitchen. Nice property. Property manager and guest host were very helpful. It's a very nice part of Lake West Point where we had wonderful fishing, easy to access boat ramp from the property, and easy to see more of the lake. Neighborhood is safe and good for walking/running.

Cabin good, but where is manager!
Good location. Nice to be able to walk down to the lake and fish. Everything available in the kitchen and even a couple of board games.. Very nice cabin, clean, but some BUGS. Found some bug spray there. Biggest concern is although I spoke with Angie the property manager the day after I booked it to find out about the fishing there; she never returned my text while I was there about the WiFi and her voice mail box was and still is full. I just got home last night to realize I left a very sensitive item there that I need to get. I have tried to call her- voice box still full and emailed her without success. I will keep trying because I have to drive back there (7 hours) to get it.

Everything was simple with surprise high quality amenities throughout the stay. My kids loved it and it was nice to be off grid a bit for our stay. The lake is beautiful and the owner is extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Lake Getaway!
First off the house is great. I loved that every room had a fan and the AC was ice cold! House looks exactly like the pictures. Angie the house manager was very helpful and quickly responded to any question or concern. My only complaint is its not private. Neighbors on both sides are very close. So close that you can hear them talking and opening the door. They do have a privacy fence on one side but I almost felt like I was in a condo being so close. Now onto the trail down to the dock... it's very steep. Be prepared for a workout if you have to carry anything but yourself. We loved the covered dock but be careful it has several nails coming up. All in all a great stay if a few minor complaints.

Awesome!!
This property was just as the pictures showed! It was clean, spacious yet cozy, and nice amenities. We enjoyed our stay will definitely stay here again for a quick getaway. My only disappointment was the lack of pots and pans. There was some but not enough to complete my whole meal at one time. A better variety of size pots and pans would have been a plus. We made it work but overall a great stay!!!

Nice weekend retreat!
Great property, great Host! Very comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need! Located in the Quaint town of LaGrange, on West Point Lake very close to Alabama. Rent a pontoon boat and explore the Lakes and definitely eat at the American Smokehouse Restaurant!

Perfect getaway
Spent two nights at this cabin. It was impressively clean (and I am a bit of a clean freak). Everything you could possibly need to cook and run a house is there, which make it much easier for us as well didn't leave the cabin for two days and brought in all our groceries to cook. A bit of a walk to the dock and would have been nice to have a kayak or two or canoe in order to get in the water but the property was very beautiful, quiet and clearly well maintained. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Kids loved jumping off the dock and fishing. Clean and nicely decorated. The owners thought of everything and were very helpful. Angie was amazing too and gave a lot of information about the area. We would love to come back and stay hear again!

Excellent location, excellent accommodations & excellent host
This was our first AirBnd/Vrbo experience and it was a great one. Property is well maintained and the accommodations were perfect. My wife & I with our two young kids had a great time, we took two quick day trips to the Wild Animal Safari & the Georgia Aquarium. This location is perfect to visit the two. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we’re picky when it comes to sleeping accommodations. The house had all the essentials we needed for cooking inside, grilling outside, firewood & outdoor fire pit and an indoor gas fire place. One of the best features is the lake side wall, it’s floor to ceiling windows across the entire wall offering superb views. We hiked down the trail to the dock and caught crappie off of the dock. All that said the best feature of all was the host Angie! She went over the top for us to make sure we had everything we needed. There was a bad front moving through with 40-60 mph winds & tornados. She came and gave us access to 2 other properties they have next door and down the street just to make sure we would be safe with our 3&4 year olds if we had any problems with the storm. Can’t recommend this one enough, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Angie for making this a great vacation, our 3 & 4 year old kids kept asking when would they get to see Mrs. Angie?

A Wonderful Vacation Paradise
This property was so nice. It was immaculate and was private. The furniture was very nice and well taken care of, and the beds are very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We will definitely be vacationing at this property again. Also, the owner was extremely nice and helpful. A very nice place, indeed.

Fantastic!
We rented this lake house for a long weekend and brought our ski boat with us. Couldn’t have been a better stay! House was fully stocked with everything we could want and furnishings were in great shape. Boat dock was perfect as well. We will be back!

Great getaway at West Point.
We had a great time. This home is super clean. It's been well renovated. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need. Master bedroom has a great mattress. The great-room furniture is new or like new. A great dock. and the only thing you should prepare for, is the trek to and from the dock. It's a fair hike back up the hill while carrying fishing tackle and or chairs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. All that, and Angie the property manager is very friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful home which made the five of us feel right at home!!! We were there with four friends.
The property is conveniently located and accessible to our most enjoyable fishing spot. Decorated very charmingly and the owner was very accessible and inviting, which made our trip very exciting!!!!

Great place to stay on West Point Lake
Nicely appointed cabin. Stayed for one week during spring break. Fishing was intermittently good based on weather. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes,etc. Has a washer and dryer which comes in handy. Place is very clean and has very nice spaces for relaxation. Angela, caretaker, is very good. She changed a few bulbs for us. To note: the trail to dock is fairly steep. We used neighbor's dock for charging trolling motor. Overall we would recommend this cabin to others. We enjoyed the Infantry Museum in Columbus and the Biblical History Center in Lagrange. If you go to Biblical History Center, be sure to call ahead and reserve a spot on a guided tour. I brought my bike and rode to Holiday and Whitetail campgrounds daily. Saw quite a bit of wildlife - osprey, deer, possum, ducks, etc.

Charming lake cabin for peace and quiet getaway
This cabin was exactly what we anticipated when booking. We just wanted a peaceful and restful long weekend getaway. We were very pleased. The decor was lovely and the space was roomy. We felt right at home. Property manager Angie was proactive and super friendly. While we were actually traveling to our vacation location, she called us to advice of inclement weather in our destination location. We’ve never had a property rep do that before. Very impressed that she was concerned about our safety and possible impact of our arrival time. The lake cabin far exceeded our expectations. We just wish the weather had been warmer and not as windy. We hope to be able to book again in the future.

FANTASTIC!
Very clean and very nice. Upscale cabin decor with a SUPER stocked kitchen that has everything you need! Nice quiet location. Piggly Wiggly grocery is just 5 min up the road. Very nice owner that helps with everything. Before purchasing, I spoke with an agent about the lake looking green in the photo and wondered if we would be able to swim if it was warm enough. I wanted to be sure there wasnt an algea or any other water issue going on. The customer service rep said that the lake is clear and that it was a reflection of the trees in the photo..... not true. The water in this lake is green. That being said, this is nothing that should be held against the property owner as they were amazing and so is the cabin. Would rent again!!

Beautiful Relaxing Weekend Get away
The house is very clean and the Property Manager is very accomindating. The house is decorated beautifully but most of all relaxing. It does however have Electrical issues they fixed one while we were there , and are going to fix the others. House is very well located to several boat launches, and close to town. the house was orignally listed as "Pet Friendly" but NO longer is .
