'These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast.
Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place!
I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows...

'The rooms at this hotel were a perfect size. I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the room and it had keys so you could lock it if you left with all your belongings inside of it. Everything seemed brand new. The only thing was I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower lol the only recommendation I would have would be to put a nightstand in the bedroom as there is nowhere to set anything. Overall, it was an excellent stay, very very clean nice location.'

'If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town.

'Staff was friendly and responsive. The location was hard to find in the dark. There was heated mattress pads and a heater for warmth the night we were there. The facilities and property looked beautiful, we were not there long enough to to enjoy.'
