Ka'anapali Shores ligt op het meest gewenste strand op Maui, misschien zelfs de wereld! Er is geen betere plek om tot rust te komen en te ontspannen dan in deze tropische oase! Afgezien van het prachtige strand, biedt het resort alle voorzieningen van een AAA-klasse full-service resort met 463 kamers, twee zwembaden, een bubbelbad, een restaurant, een lounge, een fitnesscentrum, een spa, een supermarkt, tennis en een shuffle-kaart. De Garden Pool heeft een scala aan leuke functies, waaronder een nieuwe hot tub, multi-color LED-verlichting 's nachts, watervallen, tropische tuin en andere waterpartijen. Geniet van een verfrissend drankje in de nieuwe bar Ocean Pool voordat u een ontspannen middag doorbrengt aan het zwembad. Als u graag aan het strand grilt, zijn er barbecues beschikbaar op het weelderige tropische terrein van het resort.

Onze ruime Ka'anapali Shores suite met een slaapkamer is ingericht en beschikt over een vernieuwde keuken met granieten aanrechtbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten! Er is een gloednieuwe bank die wordt omgezet in een queensize bed (3/19) en een comfortabel kingsize bed in de grote slaapkamer. De keuken is volledig ingericht en is gevuld met alle kookgerei, borden, glazen en keukengerei die u nodig hebt om uw favoriete maaltijden te bereiden en te vullen met uw favoriete voedsel, dranken en lekkernijen. Voor uw gemak hebben we een startpakket in de flat, die koffiebevestigingen voor de volgende ochtend bevat, samen met shampoo / conditioner, zeep, spons en afwasmiddel. Er is een fantastische boerenmarkt in de straat met lokaal geproduceerde verse producten en een winkelcentrum aan de overkant waar u uw favoriete items kunt inslaan.

Professioneel schoonmaakbedrijf

Er zijn verschillende restaurants en eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Het Java Jazz Restaurant and Bar ligt aan de overkant van de straat in het winkelcentrum. Ze hebben heerlijk eten en de muziek zorgt ervoor dat je terug blijft komen! Er is een nieuwe Slappy Cakes voor pannenkoeken, Dolly's Pizza en Pub voor geweldige pizza's, sandwiches en bier, evenals verschillende andere lokale plaatsen om van te genieten.

Het resort is een korte rit naar geweldige winkels en Luaus, Lahaina Town and Harbor, Whalers Village, Napili, Kapalua Bay en het zeereservaat bij Honolua Bay.

The room was spacious, clean and had what we needed. I appreciated the brita filter they provided. The people at the reception desk and other staff were helpful, friendly and kind. First time in Maui

We had a great trip to Maui. The condo had everything we needed for our 13 day stay. King bed is comfortable, with a good mattress. Bathroom is dated but everything works well. It was missing a cooler to pack for the beach, but management brought a new one over the next day. Condo also has beach chairs which we used when we visited some other beaches in the area. The 2 Pools here are nice and clean with a lot of lounge chairs also each pool area has a clean hot tub. There is a restaurant on site, with a walk up bar from the outside. There is a food truck park right beside the resort, and other places to eat within walking distance. Overall we had a nice stay.

The property grounds are very clean. The room itself is dated, the oven was terrible, cooking supplies are very poor quality and the patio door was extremely difficult to open and close. Outside of all of that it was very roomy and comfortable ( the sofa bed needs updating). Loved all the extra items like beach chairs. It stated there was a cooler for use but we never found it and we did replace the broken beach umbrella we found so it is available for the next guest. There was enough laundry supplies for 8 loads which was plenty, we never ran out of trash bags or dishwashing supplies and the limited amount of spices was a nice find to have!

Lovely location, but condo needs updating.

Very nice location, but the condo was outdated and missing lots. The kitchen was missing essential utensils, and there was a cockroach on the counter. The condo did not many beach amenities (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc..). It also did not have an instructional manual in the condo. We would stay at Kaanapali Shores again, but we will be choosing a different condo next time.

Cockroaches - Do not book this property

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights before realizing this place was infested with cockroaches. Since the windows and doorwalls don't fully seal, it's a nightmare. We ended up leaving partway through our stay and the property manager insisted this was a new problem despite several prior reviews mentioning these issues. Do yourself a favor and don't book this place. We overlooked the reviews and (literally) paid the price for it.

The place had bugs all over the kitchen. Left a pineapple out for about 10 mins and it was swarmed with bugs. The sliding glass door didn’t open properly. The toilet didn’t flush well and the shower didn’t drain.

Returning to Maui was worth it!

The online listing was exactly as they listed. Often the pictures are misleading. This one was exactly as indicates. We knew what to expect. The unit was what I would describe as "tired", due to the age of the resort. It did not hamper our stay. We came to Hawaii to be by the ocean and to enjoy the sunshine, not to stay in doors. The number one thing we look for in a resort is safety and convenience. This unit provided us with this. It is perfectly located close to grocery stores, food trucks, the beach, hotel lounges, the ocean front boardwalk, and so much more. With our current Canadian dollar, this unit is excellent value for the money. We appreciated how easy it was to deal with the management company and the resort. Our overall experience on our trip was perfect. We have come back to Canada relaxed, rested, and refocused. Thank you! We would like to recommend this unit as a budget friendly unit to anyone.

Not happening here. This bed is horrible. After our first night lumpiness, I searched reviews for this rental on sites other than expedia and found that this has been a problem for over 2 YEARS. I contacted the management and was told "they would let the owners know". Lot of good that did me. Pretty sure the owners "already knew". The rest of the condo is adequate. The sliding door has lost its seal and whistles anytime the wind blows.

Disappointing Stay Due to Cleanliness and Communication Issues

While we looked forward to our stay in Maui, our experience with this rental property was unfortunately marred by significant cleanliness issues and poor communication from the management company.To be fair, some of the most important surfaces were clean upon our arrival. The bedding was fresh, the bed itself was comfortable, and the bathroom floors and toilet were clean. The kitchen countertops were also wiped down.However, beyond these initial surfaces, the lack of deep cleaning was apparent and unsettling. In the bathroom, the fan vent was caked with thick dust, and the shower fixture had a very visible layer of mineral buildup. On the vanity, a fake flower scent diffuser was coated in dust and tangled with hair. The kitchen was no better; the container of utensils (tongs, spatulas, etc.) next to the stove was greasy and dusty, as was the side of the refrigerator.Our discomfort was amplified on the first day when we discovered German cockroaches in and around the oven. A rental company associate did come to spray, but the problem persisted throughout our stay. The presence of pests, combined with the other dirty areas, made us question the overall hygiene of the property and left us feeling uneasy.Compounding these issues was a complete lack of effective communication. We sent questions to the rental company via the VRBO chat and received no response. Furthermore, the information provided to us via email about fees was incorrect and misleading. We were told to expe

However; the unit we stayed in for our 40th Anniversary was I was more than DISAPPOINTED! The condo had a very bad odor most likely from the OLD carpet and furniture! Also, we were chasing down cockroaches every evening in the kitchen! We did not cook whatsoever and ate out because of the issue! I went to the store and purchased cockroach traps! When I looked on top of the fridge it was covered with cockroach ****! My husband wouldn’t let me contact the owner because he was concerned we wouldn’t have a place to stay! I have gone through this web site many times and always been pleased! 422 NEEDS A COMPLETE CLEANING! New furniture and Carpet OMG!!!

Reviewer Comments: I have traveled to Maui several times and have always rented condos. Unit 422 at Kaanapali Shores is by far the worst one that I have stayed at!! This unit needs a complete renovation! The carpets in the living room and bedroom have massive stains. The carpet is also old and needs to be replaced. the Formica countertop edge is being held in place with Duct tape along the entire surface. Cracked tile on kitchen floor. The cockroach crawling along the living room carpet was the last straw! The owners, the agent and Kaanapali Shores should be ashamed and accountable for leasing this unit. Consumers be aware... do not rent this unit until renovated!! The owners are milking this unit for all its worth!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love going to Hawaii to stay but this time was more important as it was our honeymoon that we have long awaited. This was not a place that I would recommend staying. The listing states ocean front but the condo itself does not face the ocean, nor can you see the ocean at all from the living room or bedroom, you face a parking lot/trees. The bed was hard and our backs were in a great amount of pain as we woke up for both my husband and I. The iron that we tried using for our attire did not work. The ac also seemed to not work to the fullest. When speaking with the rental company to see if there was a way to have a better stay for the rest of the trip or move to a room with a view, we were told basically nothing could be done and hopefully when the storm we had for the first couple days passed “I’m sure your view will get better”. Well, the view didn’t change, we were still looking at the parking lot/trees. I feel if we would have chosen to stay at the hotel itself versus a rental we would have had more help in accommodations to make our honeymoon stay more pleasurable. The rental group was not very helpful but was excited to take our money to stay there. This is the first place I’ve ever stayed in Hawaii that I would not recommend to anyone. Please do your research!

We had to keep all our food stored away in the fridge and microwave. Had them running around the coffee machine, up the sides of the stove, coming out of the burners and running under the fridge. Looking at other recent reviews they had the same experience. The property manager denied anyone bringing this up before, which is funny because the recent reviews prove otherwise... Some of the reviews they responded to. Ha. The property owner did manage to bring us ant traps. When we pulled clean plates out of the cabinet dead ants where between them. They attempted to fix the sliding door by putting some WD40 but it did not help, it whistles with any breeze of wind and is very difficult to open. Probably why there are bugs, no seal on the front or back door. They said they will buy any chemicals we want to kill to roaches .. just what we came on vacation for. Lastly, the bedding had an airport baggage sticker from a previous occupant. They sent us a new blanket. The unit could be nice if it was maintained. Highly recommend not booking this place unless you want to deal with what we did. We spent the first week of our honeymoon at a different property and it was very clean with no issues whatsoever. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!! **However I will note that other units with the actual hotel might be nice, this one is just owned by a rental property organization. The hotel grounds were nice and well maintained, the building is so close to a nice beach and walking.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo looked like a motel room. So little furniture it looked very strange. The living room furniture was new though, but strange with a 2 piece suite! Everything else looked very tired and old. And the carpet had stains. - The view was definitely not "a partial ocean view"! One had to stand in the right corner of the balcony, lean out, and look sideways. More a hills or tree view, a parking lot view, a trash pickup and loading area. - The door lock was a real problem.Sometimes over 5 minutes to get in. - The kitchen counter had a long nasty, broken and very sharp edge, right over the dishwasher. This was alarming. - There were nothing in the kitchen to serve or bake anything in. Only 4 very small bowls and 4 plates. Plenty of utensils and glasses though. The Realtor was nice enough to bring some glass bowls and a baking dish, which helped. - When I tried to draw the curtains, upon pulling the rods to open the curtains, 2 of them fell off and the curtains hung down. I did get the curtains hooked up again, by standing on a chair, but not the rods. - The garbage disposal did not work, I am sure I used the right switch under the sink. Consequently, the sink stopped up easily. - The bathmat in the bathroom, could only be described as a "stamp", and it did not look very clean. One had to move it around, as it covered almost nothing. The Realtor did bring a new, larger mat. - The TV seems to be hooked up to the cheapest cable available. It was not even possible to use "Movies on Demand" or watch any other movies as there was no DVD player. For the price asked for this condo, it seems I could have gotten a room/condo in the hotel, for about the same, with housekeeping and all other services.

Reviewer Comments: While the location itself is nice, this unit is in need of work. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the look and the feel of the carpet underfoot. It was very old and greasy feeling when walked on in bare feet. It also has many stains. The kitchen looks like it has had the cabinets replaced and also the counter top which looks nice (granite). The bedroom is sparse and does not have a TV. The unit was clean with the exception of the living/dining room carpet and would have been acceptable until the following morning when upon going into the kitchen I discovered that the unit has a cockroach infestation. At first I quietly went about squishing them with wadded up paper towel and succeeded in eliminating all visible traces of the pests (my wife was sleeping and I was hoping to not let her know about this). When my wife joined me for coffee however, she noticed a few of the vermin herself. We attempted to contact Epic Realty and the phone connected us to their voice mail box which couldn't take our message because it was full. We had things to do so it wasn't until the next day that we got in touch with the managers to inform them. I talked to the front desk and was informed that the unit owner was responsible for dealing with the pests. We returned later to find evidence of an exterminator having been there as there were numerous dead roaches around the kitchen area and in the dining area. Last issue is the discription which says garden view. The 'garden' is actually plants and trees bordering on the rear parking lot and a 20' wide storm drain ditch. Also, When a rental unit has a kitchen it is customary to have basic seasonings. All that was in the cabinet was a pepper shaker. No salt. Last thing the ice cube trays need replacement as they are old and very hard to remove ice from. I am not usually so negative with my reviews, after all this is Maui and it's hard to be while on the island. Laminate flooring or new carpet would go a long ways here.I

Clean and comfortable Place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was very nice, the place was clean, there were extra towels. The washer and dryer was a bonus. The only thing we didn’t like was a couple bugs would come out at night. Not sure what type, but looked like the roach family. The bed was big and comfortable and you can see the ocean from the room/balcony. We would definitely stay again.

Such a great place!

Property managers were excellent in making arrangements for us to come in a day earlier than we expected. Communication and check in were super easy! Condo is well-maintained although the bathroom just needs some updating. The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning! Two great pools and a great coffee shop down in the lobby! Our favorite part about this condo was the location! Walking distance to everything you need! Grocery store, restaurants, and the food truck park! Condo also has great TVs with good cable for the days you just want to lay around and be lazy on vacation! We would definitely stay here again!
