Amazing view!

We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maui. We spent so much nice family time sitting outside on the lanai, watching sunsets, looking at the stars, spotting sea turtles, watching surfers. A short walk down the boardwalk to snorkel everyday. it was real nice having a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and a cooler. Only thing that could be improved are a few basic kitchen essentials. Such as pot holders, salt/pepper, and enough dishwasher tablets to run a load each day. We loved the locations, and were really comfortable there.

We love Maui and this condo

This was our second time staying at this condo. It is perfect for our family of four. Our young daughters are fine sleeping on the pullout sofa, and the condo is modern and recently renovated. The views of the ocean are amazing. The overall condo complex is well-maintained, and the pool area with BBQs is nice. Unfortunately, this stay coincided with the horrible fire in Lahaina, and we were without power or any way to communicate for several days. Fortunately, the lobby had a backup generator where we could charge our phones with the hope of getting a signal. We were very lucky not to be in direct harm's way of the fire. But the lack of power and communication, and the dwindling food supplies, forced us to leave the island two days after the fire. The people we met during the disaster were very nice and helpful. Everyone chipped in to make food on the BBQ for each other--especially those who had nothing. Our hearts are broken for the people of Lahaina who lost everything. We hope to return some day.

Good beachfront property

We had a great stay at this property. Steps from the beach. A couple of good places to eat within walking distance from the condo. Food truck court was one of those places and it was great. Grocery store within walking distance as well. Condo was clean and tastefully decorated. All the necessities were there except… only a half a tiny bottle of shampoo was left for us to use. No big deal really but it’s really he only thing I could not pick about really. I would stay here again. Good size for a couple but we had a teenage boy and one bathroom was inadequate for us at times.

The condo was awesome. Very clean and the view was amazing. My only negative comment would be the pull out bed was horrible. It definitely needs to be replaced. Everything else was great! Would definitely stay again.

Spectacular View

A well maintained, very clean and welcoming condo. Can't beat the location or views of the sunsets. Equipped with nice quality beach gear. Just a quick walk to the beach, to the food truck park (if that's your thing), and a small strip mall with a grocery store and Java Jazz (recommend you try). We had a fantastic stay on Maui, and it all began with this condo.

Absolutely wonderful week in paradise at the Mahana! Great condo with an amazing view! The location was within walking distance to several great restaurants and beaches! We loved our stay and plan to book at the Mahana again on our next visit!! Can’t wait!!!!!

Relation at its best

The room was as advertised or better. Very well upgraded and clean room. very comfortable adjustable bed.. omg loved it. Sunset Views and sounds of the ocean 24hrs…. can’t beat it. Location was perfect as well as the beach. Loved our 1 Mile early morning walks on the Beach. snorkelling rite in front of your room was excellent, whale and turtle watching rite off your Lani was amazing. Can’t say enough about this property. We searched for hours on where to stay and soooo glad we decided to stay here. You will not regret your choice.

Be advised

While the propert is in a great location, the construction going on was rediculous. So bad, our bedroom wall was vibrating not to mention the drilling and banging. At one point, plywood fell off the building and landed in in front of my husband at the pool. Again, nice location but the inaccurate communication regarding the level of construction going on made me wish we choose a different place to stay.

Stay at Mahana

The room was great as expected and the view sensational. The only down side was the construction in the room next door, above and below. It could have been an issue but most of the day we were not in the unit. In the evening it was was quiet except one night when something fell above or below which shook the entire condo and could even be felt through the floor. I have no idea what it was but is was heavy. The owner left a notebook regarding the condo and local area which was very much appreciated. I expect we will be back next year. We followed our week stay at our time sharing at the Marriott Ocean club at the Mahana.

The suite and property were as advertised. Excellent. Clean. Amazing views and direct access to boardwalk and beach. Not a negative but be aware there is construction on the front of the building which I get is necessary, but jack hammering made it unpleasant in the room during 2 days of stay. Also just for awareness property does not have a gym. Again these were not factors that affected our overall enjoyment of the property, location or trip. We would absolutely come back! Mahalo

Amazing views, great location

We stayed here for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday and really enjoyed it. The pictures are accurate-property and unit itself were very clean. I got an email right after our flight landed that they are doing construction outside the unit, and I was dreading it and not terribly happy to hear that, especially at the last minute. However, the noise was not very noticeable- we were still able to take afternoon naps, so don't let the part about there being construction keep you from staying here!!! Views are absolutely amazing! I had asked if there were beach chairs, etc at the condo and was told they supply beach towels but there is nothing else. I bought a beach umbrella but when we got to the condo we found out that previous guests have left an umbrella (now there are 2 because we left ours), snorkel masks and fins, 4 Beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, basically anything you could want for the beach, which was great. So don't buy anything!! There is a food truck yard, grocery store, ABC store and Slappy Cakes among other things within walking distance. I saw sea turtles out front every day in the morning and evening. The beginning of Kaanapali Beach is literally next door, grab a spot in the morning and you're set! Easy access to the boardwalk. Decent snorkeling right there, lots of fish and more turtles. Cons were that the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable according to my kiddos. The mattress is very thin. It might not be allowed by the company that owns the condo building but it would be great to have a roll down shade on the lanai as the sun hits it full blast for several hours in the afternoon so it is incredibly hot and not usable. The AC will only work if both doors to the lanai are closed so I had to choose between listening to the ocean at night and having the AC on for the kids in the living room. I totally understand not wanting to waste electricity, was just kind of a bummer. There is a rack for drying laundry, which I appreciated. It is a really convenient location, easy drive to Old Lahaina, Kapalua Bay, Whaler's Village. Overall we were really happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

Beautiful location with great views and amazing sunsets

This is a well maintained, nicely appointed unit in one of our favorite locations in Maui. You can't get any closer to the beach. Aside from some minor construction noise, it was the perfect place to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary and we can't wait to return! This was our second time staying at the Mahana and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo nui loa!

Perfect Location, Perfect View

We stayed in this condo last week. Prior to traveling, we were told there was ongoing construction on the building. While we saw material and scaffolds, we were really not bothered at all by the work. We arrived at 7:00pm just in time for the most amazing aspect of this condo as soon as we walked in the door….the sunset. We proceed to sit on the balcony each and every night we were there to witness the amazing Hawaiian sunset. This place was fully stocked with all the essentials. Grocery store just outside the entrance. Food trucks close by. Easy drive to all the best beaches on the northwest part of the island. Kapalua was our favorite, but get there early. The property provides snorkel gear, a cooler and beach towels. The washer/dryer was essential. Bed was very comfortable. The kids loved sleeping on the pullout couch. Renting a car or Jeep in Maui is required to experience the island. Parking is included at the Mahana. If we travel to Maui again, we hope to stay at 214 Mahana. Thank you for such a great stay.

Ruined my 20th anniversary trip

Rented this property with only a warning of possible construction noise. Two days before we were to check in they told me that the unit was not available because it was still under construction. I was never told that the unit was under construction or would possibly not be available or I never would have rented it! I was supposed to have a Ocean front view with the lanai opening out to the ocean and I had dreamed of it for so long and then to be told two days before I arrive, sorry but nothing we can do! They did put us up in another resort which was nice enough but was not ocean front, the bathroom was extremely tiny and wasn’t at all what I had planned out for us. We were left with no time to try and rebook anything because nothing was available! They did refund us some money but it just couldn’t make up for the devastation that I went through! I will never book through this company again and if you do I would make sure that there isn’t anything that they’re trying to keep from you because they obviously could have warned me and never did..
