Tripp Lake Retreat ligt in het bos met uitzicht op Tripp Lake in Chestertown, NY. Deze rustige get-away is gemakkelijk bereikbaar op slechts enkele minuten van de Adirondack Northway (Rt. 87), maar is toch gelegen in een afgelegen omgeving.
Onze volledig ingerichte woning met 3 slaapkamers heeft 2 volledige badkamers en 9 slaapplaatsen. Slaapkamer # 1 heeft een kingsize bed. Slaapkamer # 2 heeft een koningin en een tweeling. Slaapkamer # 3 heeft een queensize bed en de familiekamer heeft een tweepersoons slaapbank. Beide badkamers hebben een bad / douchecombinatie. De keuken met ontbijtbar is volledig uitgerust met 2 koffiezetapparaten, broodrooster, magnetron, mixer, enz. De eettafel in de Family Room biedt plaats aan maximaal 14 gasten. Onze ruime woonkamer heeft een gashaard en ruime zitplaatsen. Deze woonkamer inclusief de Family Room is omgeven door ramen die een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en alle buitenlucht bieden! Ga Tripp Lake Retreat binnen via de Mud Room, een geweldige plek om jassen, laarzen, sneeuwschoenen en natte strandlakens achter te laten. Op hetzelfde niveau is een nieuwe wasruimte met wasmachine en droger. Alle gemakken van thuis zijn voor u beschikbaar terwijl u het hele jaar door Adirondack-avonturen beleeft. We hebben een automatische generator, zodat u zich nooit meer zorgen hoeft te maken over stroomverlies!
Zwem, vis, kajak, kano, skate, sneeuwschoenwandelen en langlaufen op het meer of gewoon zitten op het dek en geniet van het uitzicht. Sneeuwscooters zullen genieten van mijl van paden toegankelijk vanaf de voordeur. Skiërs, Gore Mt. ligt op ongeveer 30 minuten in North Creek! Als u ook van wandelen, fietsen, winkelen, paardrijden of achtbanen houdt, vreugdevuren aan het meer hebt of binnen bij het gezellige vuur zit, is Tripp Lake Retreat een ideale vakantieplek voor u en uw vrienden en familie om samen te komen .

Celebrating with friends.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tripp Lake Retreat. The house feels like a home away from home, nestled in the trees with a view of the lake. Fall is a lovely time to be here and relax with friends. Short walks on crisp mornings, drives to local craft stores and relaxing by the fire made the trip just what we wanted for our time together. Debbie is a gracious host and responsive to needs. I will definitely consider staying again as Tripp Lake Retreat becomes a favorite spot.

Cozy Family Home by Beautiful Lake

Really enjoyed our stay! Host Debbie was very responsive, nice and accommodating. The house was just the right size for our family getaway with 8 people, including 2 small children. The house is just steps away from gorgeous Lake Tripp. Short drive to touristy Lake George nearby. Great spot for a family seeking an Adirondack vacation.

Weekend getaway with friends

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The owners have taken very good care of this property. Our families had a blast using the canoes and swimming in the lake. My 8 year old son even learned how to paddleboard with a neighbor kid. We'll definitely look to renting this house again if we are in the area for another vacation.

Lovely spot on a lake, but bring your sheets!

The house is in a lovely location - quiet and a 2 minute walk to a lake with a great sandy beach. The house has lots of space, so if you're part of a large group, there's plenty of room to spread out. The lack of sheets and towels (don't forget to bring your own!) and the cleaning fee are the only reasons I can't give 5 stars. This is the first short term rental I've used that asked guests to strip the bed, load/run the dishwasher, and stick around to empty the dishwasher. The danger of having guests empty the dishwasher is that no one checks to see if they're clean. Some of the silverware in the drawer wasn't clean. Dirty forks aside, the lake was perfect on a hot summer day.

A beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming place to spend the Fourth!

The property was spacious, well-appointed and perfectly located right across the street from Tripp Lake. Debby, our host, responded to our queries quickly and completely, and was so thoughtful to include a story about the property in her guidebook that really endeared us to it, as well as a book to sign with personal messages when we left. Check-out directions were clear and reasonable and so were expectations regarding house rules and housekeeping. All in all, this was a wonderful property to stay at and we would be happy to return.

Met our expectations and then some!!

Perfection for our three generation getaway. Space was awesome as was location, well equipped with everything one would need. A teenager who needed his space; Mom had her knitting corner and Grammy a perfect reading nook. The private beach area suited the youngest among us and also for his Grammy. There’s nothing quite like being in the Adirondacks. Tripp Lake retreat was definitely a treat.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our fifth time staying here and it was great as always. The weather wasn’t as great as other years but we still were able to enjoy the lake…the advantage of the location of the house is that you can quickly pack up and get back to the house if rain or a storm rolls in. The water was wonderful for swimming and kayaking (we bring our own kayaks). The house is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great Stay at this house!!

I stayed at Debby’s house a few nights over Christmas week with my wife and 3 kids. I LOVE staying here!!! It is tucked away with beautiful views of Tripp Lake. The house is very comfortable and clean with a lot of space for the family to spread out but great rooms for us to spend quality time together. The plan was ski a few days but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate so only made it to Whiteface 1x. This house is an easy drive to Gore or a little longer to head up to Lake Placid. But the drive is awesome thru the ADKs. Debby was such a great host. Very responsive and professional. This was the second time I’ve stayed here and will definitely be back again!!

Gem In The Trees

As soon as you drive up to this house its like you’re home. It’s so welcoming and charming. Then walking in with all your belongings, finding your way around the place, running to find “your” bedroom….was a thrill !! Time for a cocktail after all that, but where. The huge deck off the living room of course. Opening that sliding door to a breathtaking view of the huge trees and the sparkling lake, was all we needed. You will find this your fav place to unwind dream talk laugh and breath in that fresh Adirondack air. So go for it you won’t be disappointed. Close to many fun spots/good restaurants, ie: Lake George

Family and friend time

This property is an excellent place to relax, with a view of the lake and being in the trees - like a tree house. We enjoyed local attractions and the lake- canoeing and swimming. My grandson asked if we could come back here next year. My son and his family are biding from Germany and always live staying a few days in the Adirondacks. I highly recommend this very comfortable home.

Debby’s house was an exceptional place to vacation with my mother, wife & our 2 boys. The lake was so much fun to swim and canoe in. Long weekend getaway

Family vacation

It was the perfect place to gather with my family, my three children and their spouses and three grandchildren, 4 yo, 2 1/2 yo, and an almost two year old. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking and paddle-boarding. The house was spacious with enough spaces that we could gather together for meals or games or have some private space as needed. A pleasure to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful location.

Terrific Vacation Spot!

This was a great vacation spot for my family and me (wife and 2 kids). The house was spacious, well stocked will all kitchen necessities, and very comfortable!! We had the ability to spend time together in the family room or to spread out. I think I counted 5 couches! We stayed in December and wish it was a little colder (and snowier for skiing) and to enjoy the beautiful frozen lake right out front!!! There are great decks overlooking the lake! This house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which was exactly what we were looking for. There isn’t much around there, so we came prepared with food and snacks. We skied Whiteface which was a little over an hour north. But it was a beautiful drive! We hoped to ski Gore the next day (about 25 min away) but weather didn’t cooperate. Debby was super responsive to all my questions (thank you for that!). We stay at VRBOs all around upstate NY and Vermont to ski and this was one of my favorites. And can say with certainty that we will be returning!!!
