Blijf in ons schone en gezellige kamp met 2 slaapkamers, moderne badkamer en keuken, zonnebank en sauna. De perfecte plek om te rusten, te ontspannen of te spelen in het water!

Dit is de plek om weg te komen en te ontspannen. Er is geen kabel / satelliettelevisie of internet beschikbaar .. maar is dat niet het punt om naar het meer te gaan?

Vrede en stilte zijn hier te vinden!

Authentieke houtgestookte vat sauna, brandhout geleverd. Ervaar een echte sauna-ervaring door stoom te nemen en af ​​te koelen in het grootste zoetwatermeer in de wereld!

Het kamp beschikt ook over een houtkachel in de woonkamer om de chill in de schouderseizoenen of geroosterde marshmallows te regenen op een regenachtige dag!

Er is genoeg zitplaatsen en kampstoelen om te ontspannen op het dek of in de zonveranda.

Open haard en voorzien van brandhout voor avond ontspanning en smores rond het kampvuur.

Dit witte zandstrand ligt aan de achterkant van het schiereiland waardoor het warmer en meer beschermd is tegen de wind. Zonsondergangen zijn een mooie pastelkleur, aangezien het licht uit het Westen op de wolken over Keweenaw Bay weerspiegelt.

Ook zichtbaar zijn de Huron Mountians (naar het zuidoosten) en passeren vluchters op weg naar Marquette of andere bestemmingen verder naar het oosten.

U zult uw verblijf niet vergeten in deze rustige wijk aan het meer.

Location on white sand beach was superb. Best time I’ve ever had in the Keweenaw. Campfires on beach every night. Plenty of wood and tinder. Lighting in house isn’t good for reading. Lights over sink and table were hard to turn on. Appliances could have been cleaned better. Overall house condition average at best

Best vacation

I stayed for 3 wonderful weeks! All my siblings came at different times of the month in July and loved it there also. Took a few days to get used to no cell or Wi-Fi, but now I may turn my phone off at least once a week for the quiet 😁. Went to sleep to the sound of the waves. Beautiful sunrises and awesome thunderstorms. I hope we can stay again soon.

Beautiful sandy beach!

We had a great time, we had great communication with our host. No complicated check in or check out instructions. Everything was simple and straight forward, nothing fancy but it was nice. We had awesome weather and did not spend alot of time indoors. The bonfires on the beach, sitting under the stars and the sunrises, are all breathtaking. This location was centrally located, we could reach our hiking trails, waterfalls and sightseeing stops within an hour. We loved the location and the up north feel. A word of caution: We did not have cell service in the area, we needed to drive to the bar in Gay to get WiFi, so we could find the nearest hospital to treat a serious reaction to a bee sting. The local people in the bar helped us with directions and were so kind and helpful. I would suggest a good map prior to arriving in the area, in case you have issues with connectivity. I know the lack of service was mentioned, I was just not prepared. All in all we enjoyed the area and are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you!

Rustic camp with million dollar views

We had such a fun time with our two weeks at the camp. It was rustic, but had everything we needed to cook and have fun on the property. The beach was breathtaking, and the sauna was wonderful after a day out enjoying the UP. There were even blocks and toys for our 11 month old to play with. The neighbors were all super friendly and more than willing to point us in the direction of something to explore. Would highly recommend, 5/5 for sure!

Beautiful beach

My family enjoyed our time on the lake. So peaceful and beautiful. Only a couple of days were warm enough to go in the lake but playing on the beach around the campfire was great too. I enjoyed no cell service (AT&T) but two in the party have Verizon and was able to send and receive texts. King bed great- full size in other bedroom not so great but we made do. Would definitely stay again.

Heaven on Earth

This is a beautiful spot and the cottage had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the evening saunas followed by brisk dips in the aptly named Superior Lake! The camp is so close to the water that when you are indoors it seems as if you’re on a houseboat! Everything we needed was right there. Lots of wonderful hiking and berry picking options in the area too. Keweenaw Peninsula is spectacular. We are grateful for the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful places on Earth from this cozy cottage. “Thanks Jacob!”
