Welkom bij 'Bear with Us' een prachtig onderhouden nieuwe 2 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, blokhut in het hart van Lake Lure, North Carolina.
Dit huis ligt in de privépoort van Riverbend. Tijdens uw verblijf in onze hut kunt u 2 kajaks gebruiken om op de twee privémeren uit te komen; Big Mirror Lake en Little Mirror Lake om te vissen of gewoon rond te peddelen om te genieten van de schoonheid. Riverbend biedt ook een strand, een picknickplaats en een waterval. Rockhop in de brede rivier bij de natuurwandeling. De begane grond beschikt over de grote kamer met kathedraal plafond, een gas open haard, comfortabele bank, twee stoelen, WI-FI, CD-speler en Smart TV met Netflix. De zonnige eetkamer biedt plaats aan 6 personen. Kook naar hartenlust in deze goed ingerichte gevulde keuken, misschien gewoon een eenvoudig ontbijt, lunch of het voorbereiden van het favoriete diner van het gezin. Roestvrijstalen apparaten, groot eiland, gasfornuis en een gootsteen voor boeren dragen bij aan de charme. Ook op het hoogste niveau is de logeerkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een complete badkamer. Ga naar boven en je vindt de Loft met een eenpersoonsbed, comfortabele leesstoelen, spelletjes, speelgoed, puzzels en een balkon om van de zon te genieten. De grote slaapkamer heeft een queen size bed, flatscreen-tv met Netflix, dressoir, spiegel, comfortabele stoel en kast. Zelfs een stationaire fiets om die vakantie-calorieën kwijt te raken, werd op de een of andere manier opgepikt. Een eigen complete badkamer beschikt alleen over een dubbele wastafel en een douche. Een volledige wasruimte is net niet meester. Laten we naar buiten gaan en genieten van de grote overdekte omslag rond het hoofddek. Toegang is via de openslaande deuren van de woonkamer of eetkamer. Dineren el fresco; geniet van de ochtendzon met koffie en een boek. Veel tafels en stoelen op het dek met extra stoelen in de kelder. Geniet van de veranda swing met een vriend. Kijk rond en wees niet verbaasd om herten, diverse vogels, konijnen en wilde kalkoen te zien terwijl u ontspant in de grote hangmat. Propaangrill voorzien voor de grillmaster. Ontspan in het bubbelbad, staar naar de spectaculaire nachtsterren. Misschien is een fris limonadeglas op de schommelstoelen op de veranda precies wat u zoekt. De hele blokhut is uitgerust met plafondventilatoren in elke kamer. Hardhouten vloeren en houten wanden geven dit huis een warm gevoel dat je alleen in een blokhut kunt vinden. De hele hut is smaakvol ingericht om iedereen die een warm, ontspannen gevoel geeft met een lodge-thema binnen te laten. Ongeacht de tijd van het jaar dat u kiest, u zult zich meteen thuis voelen bij Bear With Us. It's Another Day in Bearadise!

Peaceful weekend in the mountains

My family wanted to explore Lake Lure and Chimney Rock so the location of this cabin was perfect. The cabin is bigger than you expect and there are decks everywhere. I've never been to a rental or a house for that matter with more things to do. The hot tub was a great place to relax after our hikes and the separate living rooms gave us some quiet time while the kids played foosball for hours on end. We would definitely stay here again. Next time we will need to spend more time at the Riverbend beach with the kayaks.

Gorgeous place, wonderful surroundings, excellent kitchen set up.

This was a wonderful getaway for my daughter's birthday. The hot tub was the highlight, as was the well equipped kitchen, since we stayed in and made dinner. Wonderful walking the dog up and down the road, saw lots of wildlife. Check-in was a bit confusing, since it's across the road from the main entrance, which I didn't realize existed. And unfortunately, we broke a plate, and I didn't remember to let folks know, but left it on the kitchen island, but good communication with the management company.

We came up for the Log Home and cabin show. We loved our little retreat here even though it was a quick trip. The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub also!!

Beautiful, spacious cabin

The cabin was very beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable for 4 adults. The hot tub and gas fireplace were amazing. The outside grounds were beautiful and also spacious. The wrap around deck was awesome. The trees blocked most of the view, but the location, fall leaves and privacy made up for that. It would be nice if the master bedroom had a king bed and the second room had a queen or two double beds instead of twins. Check in and check out was easy. Overall great cabin and location close to Lake Lure.

Great cabin in the woods

Our stay was really great. The home was very clean and well stocked with towels, soaps and necessities. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to unwind and hang with the family. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit and saw many deer. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked very nice and clean. Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the bed in the primary bedroom was. The mattress was like sleeping on a hard wood floor. This could be fixed with a basic foam topper. Other than that, we absolutely loved the cabin and plan to come back.

Relaxing in the woods

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and had a wonderful relaxing time. The space was roomy and secluded. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the wraparound porch reading and listening to nature. In the five days we were there I think maybe two cars drove past the place on the gravel road. My kind of get-away.

Very Quiet and Secluded

My fiancé and I had such a relaxing time at this cabin. It was very secluded and quiet. We enjoyed going to the little taco truck down the road for breakfast and the fancy Highland restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed the hot tub while it was cold outside and got to take a walk around the road that the cabin is on. The roads up to the cabin were a little difficult to manage at first since we are used to flat roads on the coast but we got used to them after a couple rounds and then I felt like a pro! The checkout instructions listed on the fridge were different than what I received via email so I was a little confused during checkout because the processes for laundry and trash were different, but I hope I did it right :) I think I missed it in the listing but the cabin isn’t right on the water so if you want to use the kayaks, you would need a proper vehicle to actually transport the kayaks down the road to the lake. But it was too cold for us to be on the lake so that didn’t end up being a problem. We definitely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for something very quiet and comfortable and relaxing

Great little getaway!

We really enjoyed a week during New Year’s at this cabin. It was a bit of a long, narrow, winding road up to the cabin from the main gate. Grocery store (Ingles) was close, as well as the Chimney Rock Village and State Park, with great little shops and a few good restaurants there and in Lake Lure. The cabin was well-equipped with towels, supplies, and kitchen dishes (could’ve used a couple more pots/pans/cookie sheet/cooking utensils), and overall was clean and comfortable (but the bed pillows were not, very stiff and flat/thin, so bring your own like my hubby did). We loved the hot tub and fireplace, used the grill a couple times, and enjoyed our stay very much! Very private and secluded! Maybe saw two other people walking a dog the entire visit.

Hot tub

The back two jets never worked. They sent maintenance and no luck. This was very disappointing since it was a primary reason we took this property. I hope to see a credit for this reason. Otherwise we loved everything.

Our overall experience was GREAT! There was a bit of dog hair in all living areas of the cabin, I’m guessing do to it being dog friendly…. Other than that the stay was wonderful!

The property was advertised and represented to be in a "gated community with security" . The gate was broken the entire time of our stay(6 nights) and we saw no security at the gate or on patrol during our entire stay.

Relaxing stay

After you get past the 2 mile hilly gravel road to get to home it was very pleasant, nice watching the wild life. The kitchen was well equipped. The porches were nice. Make sure you bring paddles and life jackets for kayaks, they weren’t provided.

Peaceful and comfortable

So much to like about this cabin - great porch, great hot tub, roomy, comfy furniture. Down side - beds- 3 twins and a double -comfy but not roomy. Roku Tv - waste of time. Needs a few more kitchen items if you plan to cook.
