Romantic Cabin op het prachtige Lake Lure!

Romantische cabine op een bergmeer. We zijn in de buurt van Chimney Rock, Asheville en The Biltmore House. Wij zijn slechts 1/4 mijl van de plaats waar de film Dirty Dancing werd gefilmd. Wij zijn slechts 18 mijl van de nieuwe Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Onze gezellige een slaapkamer blokhut is gebouwd voor koppels en heeft een hot tub. Wij zijn gevestigd in de binnenstad van Lake Lure en slechts een mijl ten zuiden van het charmante bergdorp Chimney Rock, NC. Zonder extra kosten hebben we kano's, hoefijzers, privé visvijvers, en een dock op het prachtige Lake Lure. Alle in een natuurlijke landschap met diverse flora en fauna. Plus, op slechts een korte afstand vindt u de Lake Lure strand en de jachthaven, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Restaurants, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure rondvaartboten, paardrijden, bergbeklimmen, raften, tennisbanen, Chimney Rock Village en vliegvissen op de Rocky brede rivier! Ook in Lake Lure vindt u twee golfbanen en een gemeentelijke negen-holes golfbaan.

Great stay but had a few drawbacks

The cabin was stocked as stated. I was disappointed with the lack of view of the lake compared to the picture. Aware of the extreme heat outside but the cool air just can’t seem to make it to the bedroom. The ac split system was in the den (opposite end of the cabin). The floors were not clean as there was even dog food on the floor beside the couch. The pots and pans and cookie sheet definitely had not be cleaned in awhile. It is very quiet and loved that!!! We will definitely give it another try.

Wonderful break

Beautiful Getaway

The cabin was wonderful, very quiet area. The only thing I didn't like was the road on the property. The whole are is beautiful, with plenty to see and do, even off season. I would definitely go back there!

Beautiful cabin

The owls nest cabin in pine gables was perfect for what we needed. My husband and I went to lake lure to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The cabin was small but cozy and the hot tub on the deck was a lovely feature. It is close to chimney rock and lake lure. We will definitely be back!

The checkin was easy. It is a very quiet place to relax. Cabin had everything we needed. Only 2 compliants 1. It needed a little more cleaning, bath n bedroom had an odor. 2. No Lake view for all the trees. I love trees but was expecting a view of the lake from the cabin. We had our little dog with us and had no issues. Great little place for her to walk around.

I loved this place.

The place was so cute. I loved the screened in porch, the hot tube was perefect, it was so quite and dark at night, and the bed was comfortable. The field on the property was perfect for my dog to play ball and run. Thanks.

My sister and I stayed here to attend the Dirty Dancing Festival nearby. The cabin was perfect! So comfortable, had everything we needed and more. The screened in porch by the water was lovely. I can’t wait to come back with my husband and pups!

Great cabin! Great location.

The cabin was perfect for two people. The location was fantastic, right on the lake with kayaks in canoes readily available. Available. The inside was spotless and had everything we needed. Plus, it was right in the middle of everything. I would absolutely stay again.

The Owls Nest

Lovely cabin. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and having a meal and a cup of tea. Only problem for me: the climb down to the dock is very treacherous and the dock and ladder should be replaced for safety.
