Over deze accommodatie

Walk to Resort amenities, 5 King Beds, Tesla Charger, outdoor fire pit

  • This home, located behind the gates of Rumbling Bald Resort, is ideal for family reunions and just a short 3/10-mile walk to amenities. It features a built-in Tesla charger for electric Tesla owners. There are 5 bedrooms plus a 6th room with a sleeper sofa, each bedroom boasting a King bed, with two bedrooms also including a Queen bed. The home offers 4 full baths and one half bath, with the master bath recently remodeled. On the main floor, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths—two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom, while the primary has its own bath. The lower level has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Though the home sleeps 16, there are only 10 pool passes, but children under 12 don’t need one. Passes are required for pool and gym use, but this is rarely an issue unless everyone visits at once. Gathering spaces include a main living room, a second living room on the lower walkout level, a theatre/game room, a sun deck, and a screened porch. There is ample parking, and two gas fireplaces should only be used in emergencies. Golf carts can be rented through the Resort via the Bald Mountain Golf Course. No motorcycles or RVs are allowed per resort rules, and please notify if bringing any type of trailer before booking.

Tesla House

Great looking property, perfect for accommodating large groups. The fire pit was a hit. First floor access for a disabled family member was a huge plus. Would do it again if we return to the area. Host took excellent care of us.

Great vacation home

The layout of this house was great for multiple families. Plenty of space to spread out. Huge living area with two seating areas. The resort amenities were a nice plus. Plenty to do if you stay in and close to gem mining and Asheville if you choose to go out. Property manager super helpful.

Wedding weekend

We rented the home to be part of our son and daughter in laws wedding weekend at Rumbling Bald. We had family in from 5 states. We did get a chance to see a few of the other rental homes as well. This home has everything you need in the kitchen, baths, adequate beds (not just extra pull outs) and is clean. We had a great time.

Beautiful home with resort amenities

Home comfortably handled our group of 14, ages 3-82. Very well equipped kitchen allowed us to handle meals in, with a long dining table we could all sit around for group meals. which added to the relaxation. Property manager was very responsive to the minor issues we encountered.

Large Beautiful Home

We rented this house for my Granddaughter wedding weekend. I could have not chosen a better home. Sixteen people stayed in house, with other family member in and out. We never felt like there were that many people in the house. So many different area in inside and out that no one felt they couldn’t have a space to themselves to chill out. Beds were great. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group. Manager was great to work with and answered every question we had before we arrived. We arrived with peace of mind and ready to enjoy a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to coming back to the house and beautiful Lake Lure

Beautiful property nestled in the mountains of Lake Lure, NC

We had a fantastic vacation at this beautiful rental near Lake Lure. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with a view of the lake just a short distance away. The resort facilities were perfect for families, offering a range of amenities such as mini golf, a lazy river, and a stunning lakeside beach. We were delighted by the daily ice cream treats and enjoyed the convenience of poolside refreshments and food. The house itself was tastefully furnished and comfortably accommodated our large family of 14, with a well-stocked kitchen and the added bonus of pool toys and beach chairs available for our use. We happened to sleep in one of the basement rooms and noticed a bit of noise bleeding through the ceiling with activities happening upstairs, primarily in the kitchen. However, this didn't significantly impact our experience as it simply meant we started our days a little earlier, eager to enjoy all the vacation had to offer. FYI - the basement rooms may not be great for light sleepers! We highly recommend this rental to larger family groups, as it provided ample space and a great range of amenities. Overall, our stay at this vacation rental was memorable and enjoyable. The stunning location near Lake Lure, combined with the fantastic resort facilities and comfortable accommodations, made it an ideal choice for our family gathering. If you're looking for a beautiful vacation spot that caters to larger families, this rental is highly recommended.

Family reunion

We took advantage of the many amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort. We started the days at the beach, which was great - has a large shallow area with sandy bottom. The pool has variety for all ages and is well kept. The lazy River with tubes was enjoyable for all ages. We had several ventures to mini golf & 1 group enjoyed playing the challenges of the Rumbling Bald golf course. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was helpful in shuttling our grandchildren (& grandparents!) to the amenities. The distance was a short walk, but with some incline. We used both driveways at the house for parking (we had 5 vehicles) and were a little shocked at the steep driveways, but managed to navigate them. We heeded the bear warnings by keeping the garage door closed and hauling trash everyday. The only shortfall of the resort is that cars, people, and golf carts use the same roads to the homes. My adult children commented that separate paths / and a walking path would enhance safety. They also missed having yard space for the kids to play frisbee. But, this is a mountain type resort, so lack of flat open space is not too surprising. My husband would have wished for better access (overnight) to a kayak for fishing. The Hemlock House is spacious and well equipped. The extra freezer & refrigerator space were great! We used all of the bedrooms, and the living areas, including the screen porch. Our house manager was responsive and advised us well prior to our trip, with FAQ’s!

Big house in Rumbling Bald Resort

Check in/out was super easy. Owner is very helpful & nice, making sure we had everything we needed. House is really big with lots of places for everyone to hang out. Upstairs main floor = big kitchen with giant table, huge huge living room, 3 bedrooms (main with 2 beds & private bath, 2 bedrooms with jack & jill bath), a covered porch, and an open porch with a grill, and a 1/2 bath by kitchen. Downstairs = 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 bedroom with 1 bed, a hall bathroom, a 2nd living room, a huge game room with pool table & bumper pool, and an outside patio area with fire pit. House is easy to get to, road is not that steep in this area, and you’re very close to main part of resort and could walk. Also all the beds were super comfy. And it’s nice every room has a king, and then 2 have a 2nd bed. And the house is well stocked… kitchen items, pool floats & beach chairs & all.

Plenty of Space, Plenty of Comfort

Great location, plenty of space to spread out, well-equipped kitchen. The property manager is the most responsive we've EVER dealt with. Minor issues were fixed immediately. No grill brush? New one on the front step within the hour. Ice maker not keeping up? Two bags of ice and a countertop ice maker delivered within the hour. The house probably needs a few cosmetic updates, but overall was well-equipped and very comfortable. Large beds and living spaces. Extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage were super helpful for our large group. Very nice TVs upstairs and down kept the kids entertained. Fire pit area was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This house fit us to a tee! We celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary and there was ample room for everyone. It was walking distance to many amenities in the resort. Wonderful week on Lake Lure

The 10 of us had a wonderful time this week. The home was close to everything and had a spacious layout. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the large living room. The pool and card tables made the late evening fun for the adults. The amenities at the resort are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back!
