'It is an old cabin/house that is a bit run down. Our biggest issue was the super intense musty smell. We were also disappointed with the quality of the bedding and towels (which only 2 were left for our group of 4). It's a really steep price tag for a property like this and I would never use the word serene to describe it. The owners were easy to work with, but we were glad we only had to be there to sleep. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth...

'The log lake house is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We watched the sunrise over the lake, kayaked, bird watched, grilled, and played yard games. Also, it was lovely to star gaze from the comfort of the cozy living room out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. A magical place! We had a fantastic time. '
