'We were in Auburn for a race and really just needed a room as a home base, napping spot and quick shower. We didn't end up needing the room until the day of checkout and the staff was SO KIND to let us check in that morning. I took a fantastic shower and loved the soft towels and bath products. I got a great 20 min nap in the super comfy bed (100 miles of running makes me really appreciate creature comforts!). We were SO grateful to the staff for their kind and helpful service. '

'Always my go to - it’s half way between the Bay Area (where I work) and Reno (where I live) so on those occasions when it’s too late and I’m too tired to drive all the way home, this is my spot. Clean, comfy and super convenient highway access and Starbucks is only 3 blocks away when it’s time to roll the next morning. '

'I was looking for a clean place to sleep on a rail trip. This was a great place that fit my needs. It was clean and looked recently remodeled. When I check into a new place I always check the sheets and bed for signs of bugs. Past the test!! The sheets were clean and very nice to sleep in. The owner was nice and showed interest in my stay. It was a good stay for a motel. '

'Great location and friendly staff! Walkable to shopping and restaurants. They served refreshments in the evening and a continental breakfast in the morning. Loved the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our room upstairs across the street. Easy parking however climbing the stairs could be a limitation for others. '

'Affordable, safe, and lots of stores & restaurants near by! Pet friendly (love that pets stay free) and there’s a really nice dog park right down the street. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the shower had very hot water which was great.'

'My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. '

'We really enjoyed the cottages. We styed in the Spruce cottage but saw that the other carport had firewood so we are assuming the other cottage has a fireplace. We hope to stay in that cottage next time and have friends join us for a nice long weekend in the winter Otherwise, we loved our experience. So quaint and convenient. We had a great experience.'
