The Lodge at Serene Lakes

Welkom bij The Lodge at Serene Lakes. Stil. Veilig. Weg van de drukte ... maar slechts een paar minuten de heuvel op van de restaurants en winkels van Truckee. Kijk hoe de sneeuw valt, marshmallows roostert en geniet van een warme toddy, gewikkeld in zachte wol of Sherpa-dekens gezeten rond een vuurplaats op het grootste overdekte dek in Serene Lakes. Comfortabel BBQ op een nieuwe Weber op het overdekte gangboord.

Loop twee blokken naar Royal Gorge, de grootste XC-ski-locatie in Noord-Amerika; 5 minuten. naar Soda Springs; 8 min. naar Donner Ski Ranch; 8 min. naar Sugar Bowl Gondola; 10 minuten. Naar Boreal.

Een goed uitgeruste keuken biedt nieuwe borden, kopjes en glazen; een nieuwe 8 qt. crockpot; nieuwe Instapot; nieuw koffiezetapparaat; nieuwe broodrooster; nieuwe anti-aanbakpotten en pannen; een nieuw elektrisch Jennair-assortiment; en nieuwe magnetron.

De Lodge heeft twee meesters met nieuwe kingsize matrassen, elk met automatische hoofdliftfuncties. Lekker liggen in nieuwe hypoallergische Primaloft-dekbedden. De kinderen zullen genieten van hun stapelbedden met dezelfde Primaloft-dekbedden. Badkamer met douche op de begane grond, waar een koning meester. Nog een complete badkamer met bad en douche bevindt zich op de derde verdieping ten dienste van de stapelbed kamer en de bovenste master, die zijn eigen kleine privé biedt
dek.

Een nieuwe 55 "4K internet streaming tv kan worden genoten après-ski, ontspannen op de nieuwe voorkamer meubels. Hulu en Netflix bieden veel opties en Hulu Live biedt toegang tot live sport-, nieuws- en uitzendnetwerken. WiFi-internet is overal in de lodge toegankelijk voor alle apparaten van gasten.

Ski- en skikluisjes met kleerhangers voor jassen en hoeden omringen een royale entree op de benedenverdieping.

Full-size wasmachine / droger is ook beneden, met een derde douche en derde toilet naast wat we een "bonuskamer" noemen met een koningin verstoppertje en veel bordspellen en puzzels voor de kinderen.

Beautiful and well stocked home. Communication was quick and responsive. Very detailed map with great suggestions on utilizing the area. Trails, lake, local food spots. Amazing front deck to socialize, eat and relax on. Highly recommend staying here and enjoying all that Soda Springs has to offer.

Annual XC Ski Weeks

We come back to the Lodge every winter for a couple of weeks, so obviously we love it. We make fires in the wood stove every day, enjoy cooking in the open kitchen space, and cuddle in front of the TV at night. The hosts are exceptionally helpful.

Charming, dialed-in cottage with personal touches

The cabin was beautiful to start and then enhanced with flowers, poinsettias, and xmas decorations. The host is properly proud of their cabin and very welcoming. It is particularly well-located for cross-country skiing at Royal Gorge.

Family Gathering

The Lodge is a perfect location for anyone wanting to stay in Serene Lakes and have a fantastic experience. Close enough to everything and yet far enough to provide the piece and quiet you want. We spent time on the deck at night with the firepit ablaze sharing stories into the wee hours of the night making more family memories. Would definitely return for another extended weekend.

We beat the heat

We left Phoenix at 110 plus and spent a week in beautiful Lake Tahoe/Soda Springs. Our hosts were fantastic and their home was perfect and fit our needs exactly. This is the fourth year in Serene Lakes and this was the nicest location so far. We hope to be able to stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed and it was perfect (again). The house is well stocked, comfortable, and kid friendly. The deck is definitely the highlight!! Serene Lakes is a great place for families in the summer. Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful!

Perfection!

Serene Lakes is one of our favorites places to visit on the planet as it holds many special memories for us. Cary and Michael's "Lodge" is just as described - beautifully decorated, super comfortable and well-equipped for living and enjoying, and within walking distance to Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Area. Their main living area deck is THE best - easily accessible, covered and sheltered from the weather, toddler friendly (!), and peaceful...the fireplace table and the two industrial patio heaters + blankets (!) make it a dreamy place to hang out. and most importantly, Cary and Michael are very responsive and friendly if questions arise! Fully recommend!

Lovely Winter Wonderland

Our family of 8 loved this cozy home in the mountains. During our stay the area got 24 inches of snow and we still found plenty of opportunity to play outside, lounge around the fire and even made s'mores around the outdoor firepit. The home had everything and more (including the holiday decorations!!). We are definitely planning a return trip.

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. The home is clean, comfortable and the perfect escape from day to day life. There were nearby trails we took advantage of and the lakes were beautiful. We would definitely return here!!

The Lodge offers a great getaway

We enjoyed an adult family vacation at The Lodge. A nicely appointed and very comfortable home. We loved the deck for lounging, dining and playing board games. We made full use of all the great sporting equipment listed. A bit of a walk to the lake if you want to just pop down for a swim, but if you are going to stay at the beach for a few hours it doesn’t matter. There are fans in the bedrooms to help during the hotter summer nights so we were able to sleep fine. Great hiking near by. Lots of lakes in the vicinity. The owner/ manager was readily accessible to address any questions or issues. I recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything about the home is lovely,clean,very comfortable, and thoughfully amenitized down to the details. The covered deck with gas firetable, adirondack chairs,and deck heaters is a huge bonus. So many extras here. The hosts were super responsive, helpful, and gracious. This place is a 10 out of 10.

We'll be back!

This cabin is very well equipped for anyone to stay. Families have everything they need from books, high chairs, pack and play. The time and efforts of the hosts to set the cabin up for arrival is wonderful. Not only were we left everything for smores but also a very sweet note from the host. They are dog friendly and even offer their extras if you forgot something! The neighborhood has many stations for doggy bags which is really helpful. It's so peaceful and a nice getaway. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place!
