Wedding Weekend
Absolutely the best place for adventures, relaxing, gathering, and enjoying our friends and family with the best views, beauty, and comfort of the PNW. We loved the 3 homes and its property. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this home and its property. No one wanted to leave, we felt at home and very comfortable there.

The most amazing stay!
We absolutely loved this property!!! It’s stunning. To wake up on the after and have so much space with the three houses made it that much more relaxing. Great Estate!
We had an amazing stay at this property. There was 12 of us for a family reunion/getaway. It housed our 3 families and we each had our own separate units. It rained most days but the large main home with the hot tub had plenty of room for crafts games and hot tubing to keep the 6 kids entertained. Also the main house has an amazing chef kitchen complete with a grill, oven , steamer, 6 burner stove and even a deep fryer. Allowed us to make a feast for dinners. One of the best Vacation rentals I have stayed jn.

this is such a beautiful property, the bay is great for paddling and kayaking and we saw harbor seals and sea stars and crabs, there is a little orchard that is really fun and plenty of room to spread out.

It's All About the Memories
This was waterfront living at it's best. From the moment we drove onto the property until we "sadly" drove away, we found enchantment with the view and the shoreline. We beachcombed for hours and played pickleball for even more. The kitchen was our gathering place when we weren't out under the grape arbor. Thank you for making a 50th wedding anniversary worth staying together forever :)

Amazing!
We had a family get together for 4 nights and this place was amazing! There were 17 of us including 6 children 7 to 3. We had plenty of room and the property kept the kids and adults fully entertained! The yard is beautiful with plenty of room to run. The beach area was a wonderful place to collect sand dollars and shells. We saw seals, otters, deer, bunnies and got a surprise visit from a pod of 7-8 orca whales! The homes were comfortable (we stayed in all 3 houses) and the facilities were perfect! While we were there our refrigerator in the main house stopped. working. We texted the contact person and the next day we had a handyman come and fix it. The people are amazing to work with and they make sure they do what they can to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. We will be back sometime for another family gathering. I highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous Property and Surrounding Area
I don't think you fully appreciate the beauty of this property until you are physically there. We rented all 3 of the properties for a small family gathering for my daughter's wedding; we had a total of 14 people including 2 small children. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The property provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding. While the Victorian house is the centerpiece and very beautiful, spacious and provides the best views, the cottage and apartment are nice as well. The owners and property managers are so responsive and really want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We also loved the kayaks, pickle ball courts, and the grounds in general.

Incredible, magical experience
I cannot say enough great things about Lakebay! We loved everything about it. The beautiful grounds, the craftsman historic home, the kayaks, the seals, the sunsets, the kitchen! I love everything about this place and will go back again and again.

Beautiful location
We had our church leadership retreat here and it was so wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, with incredible views, and the sports court and kayaks were an added bonus. Each house has its quirks but that’s what you expect when staying in a place that’s 100 years old. The kitchen in the main house (the Victorian) was so spacious and a wonderful hub for us during our stay. Overall I heard over and and over from people staying that it was a great find!

Small covid wedding party.
We had a wonderful weekend wedding event. The property really lends itself to that sort of occasion. The beach, the views and the garden were all wonderful. The kitchen was fun to work with and well stocked. It was disappointing that the main refrigerator was not working properly but we managed. It was a hot weekend and so we appreciated the many fans that were provided for us. We were not in the house very much but it seemed like it would be very comfortable to hang out in! The owner was very prompt in responding to issues. Would stay again for sure!!

We did good!
Our annual family gathering and this is house six over the years. It was a perfect place for the 12 of us and then we had a couple of family member stop by. The home flows easily and the kitchen had many cooks in it with plenty of room. It was delightful.

Great for family reunions!
We spent a week here with a large family group. We rented all three homes which provided plenty of space for everyone. The property is beautiful and very quiet. We had three generations, and everyone had a great time. You will need to provide your own drining water. Overall, a 5-star vacation!

Fun place for a large family gathering
Our family of 12 adults and 3 kids had a great get together here. Wonderful kitchen, lots of group spaces, plus places to be quiet by ourselves too. Beautiful setting and very relaxing. The place could benefit from a little more “one the ground” oversight of cleaning and maintenance aspects. We would definitely stay there again.

1st Time Family Reunion for 28 of us!
This was the PERFECT place for our first family reunion with four generations from all around the states with varied personalities. It was a big enough and with such peaceful, gorgeous surroundings to allow together time and alone time for those who needed it. Pickle ball, kayaking, nighttime campfires, gourmet kitchen....all created the perfect environment! Thank you Kathryn and Cindy for creating a memorable time.

Glad you liked the home and location! Sorry you had trouble with the hot tub-we would have been glad to help out. And would love to know which kayak had an issue. We do keep those repaired. We have 2 queen sofa beds -one in each of the smaller homes --so that is sleeping for 4. There is sleeping for 18 in beds. The homes do currently sleep 22 in beds. Thanks!

Beautiful but dirty
This used to be a once beautiful estate. We recleaned when we arrived bathrooms and floors. Lights were out or non working in numerous rooms. The straw that broke us when 5 children broke out in rashes. After taking them to a Doctor we found out it was a fungus from the hot tub. Wish I could recommend but I can’t. No response from the owner!!! 😔😐

I apologize for your negative experience. I have since replaced my cleaning and yard staff. The home is being completely cleaned and repaired. My previous staff had not communicated any issues with the electrical, spa or of course, cleanliness state. I have found many issues since my return and I was out of the country during your stay. Again, I do apologize and we are restoring the home to its normal beauty.

Amazing place on the water, great for a large group!
We stayed at Wisteria Hollow for 2 nights for a staff retreat and had a wonderful time. The houses are great for a large group and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, kayaking, the spa, and spending time in the backyard by the water. Kathryn was very helpful and accommodating for our schedule and needs. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Kathryn!

Beautiful place, but needs lots of updates in the house.
We enjoyed our stay because our family is made up of survivors and we make the most out of any situation. The heat did not work in the main house. Though efforts were made by sending out a heating company, they were unable to fix the problem. So, there was never any heat in that house for the weekend. We made the best of it by building fires. I feel we deserve some kind of discount for the inconvenience. The spa also did not work as advertised. And remember, it was cold and snowing on the weekend we stayed. The main house was a gem in it's day and we really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. The other two living quarters were much more modern and well kept, except that one of them didn't have a key in the lock box and we had to wait for quite awhile before someone brought one. It's truly a beautiful, peaceful piece of property and I can see the potential for how much fun it could be...but maybe in the summer. As the one who booked the place for my family, I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't do as well as I normally do for our family retreats. We would stay again if we knew that everything worked as advertised.

The property is amazing - nestled against the pugent sound. There are tons of activities for all ages within walking distance. Kathryn was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Perfect for our large family reunion
Wisteria Hollow turned out to be the perfect setting for our family gathering. We used all three residences and enjoyed the well stocked kitchens and beautiful setting with a large lawn for our multiple yard games. The kayaks were used everyday as was the sail board (surf board with attached sail). There is a well stocked grocery store about 7 miles away, so it was very easy to re-supply when needed. The balconies were so pleasant and a great meeting place to talk, relax and look at the tides going in and out. This property truly is a good example of past elegance that keeps on giving. All queries were answered promptly and kindly with follow-up to make sure everything went smoothly. We all appreciated the professional attitudes of of hostess and her helpers. Thank you for a wonderful experience ;-)

overpriced for what it was
The communication and size was what we expected. However, for the price the property is VERY dated and tired. It’s just an old house that is expensive to maintain and they are letting the entire place go to seed. We would not go back.

Great place for families
Nice, property. Great access to beach, basketball, kayaks. First house has a attic, which was perfect for kids and accommodated 3 families. The other two were cozy houses and comfortable.

Great Time
We had our family come in and stay at Wisteria and it was great. We took all three places and it was wonderful. The accommodations are quaint and it is a great gathering spot. Very secluded and the views are magnificent. The only oddity is that if you are in the main house master bedroom, you can be awakened by the early morning barking of seals. Once you know they are there it is no big deal. Great time for our family.

Multi-family friendly location with plenty of room and gorgeous views
Diamond in the rough. Lots of space. Lots to do: kayak, hot tub, bonfire, basketball court, pick blackberries, dig for oysters (need permit), 10 minute walk on the beach to see Mount Rainier, industrial stove in main house, deer in the yard, seals on the docks. Just a beautiful property! The only things we found to be less than wonderful: one queen sized bedroom in main house is open to the stair landing and dwellers will be disturbed by people utilizing the living room below, no hand towels for showers, no kitchen towels for kitchen.

Retreat Getaway
This was the perfect place for this year's Women's Retreat. We used all three houses. It was spacious, gorgeous, had tons of things for everyone to do during our free time. There are a few things I did not mention in my exit paperwork. We had to borrow kitchen towels and wash cloths from the other houses as there weren't any in the main house which is where all the cooking and serving was done. The spa worked great but some of the dials/switches did nothing when we tried them. The hide-a-bed mattress in the Cottage by the Sea really needs to be replaced. It was torn around the seams and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen in the main house, although pretty well stocked, probably could use updated cookware and a can opener that works. The cookware in there was very worn, but did the trick. The instructions left for operation of the TV/DVD never worked for us, not sure if it was our interpretation or not. We loved seeing the history of the house on the wall of pictures. Sitting out on the deck watching the sea lions in the morning was very tranquil. There were 17 women and 2 men cooking for us and I don't believe at anytime we felt that crowded or cramped. We will certainly consider these homes for futures retreats. Thank you so much.

Lovely place for family reunion
We had a wonderful time and lucked out on the weather at our late September family reunion! With 3 houses, the property allowed privacy for families with kids, while the big house worked great as the central visiting spot. The big kitchen was a hit as was the great deck with a swinging bench. I loved the wood paneled octagon shaped dining room with a great round table. The huge lawn provided space for games and kids to wander while visible from the deck. All enjoyed walks on the great beach in the quiet cove. The fire pit and outside patio area was great fun. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful quiet location...comfortable beds
Used this location for a 5 day family getaway, reception and picnic...brought a variety of outdoor games and had use of the properties Kayaks/life vests etc... pleanty of space. We rented ALL THREE homes for 4 nights and it was a wonderful choice. Guests of all ages had a wonderful time and told us how much they enjoyed the experience.

We just love hosting to Large family groups. Our 3 houses on 2 acres is the perfect getaway right on Puget Sound. You just can't beat a week at Wisteria Hollow

magical weekend
This is a beautiful property in a wonderful place. The weather cooperated and we all had a great time on the beach, on the water and gathering around the table for meals. The houses are not new and have issues related to age, but we had all we needed and no real problems. It would've been a tight fit for all of us if everyone had been able to make it, (but doable for sure) and the 12 of us were very comfortable.
