Lake Living on the Water - Rijkshuis met eigen aanlegsteiger in Lakeport (Clearlake)

  • Parkeer je boot bij de aanlegsteiger vlak voor het huis. Huis ligt aan het meer met een ingebouwd BBQ-eiland en een bar! Geweldig voor familievakanties, romantische uitjes of gewoon om wat ontspannen tijd door te brengen om op te laden. Geniet van directe toegang tot vissen, zwemmen en dieren in het wild net buiten de schuifdeuren aan de achterzijde. Geniet van wijnproeverijen bij meer dan 30 wijnmakerijen, golfen, fietsen, vissen buiten het dek of in de vele toernooien, onder andere te doen in het prachtige Lake County.

    House biedt plaats aan maximaal 7 gasten max met zo ongeveer alles wat u nodig heeft voor een stressvrij ontspannen verblijf. We staan geen huisdieren toe in het huis of op het terrein! Bewakingscamera's voor, aan de zijkanten en aan de achterkant van het huis.

    De volgende feestdagen vereisen een verblijf van 4 nachten, Pasen, 4 juli, Thanksgiving, Kerstmis en Nieuwjaar. Reserveringen die voor deze feestdagen met minder dan het minimum van 4 nachten worden geboekt, leiden tot annulering.

    Voor watersporters: bootlancering is slechts 1/2 mijl weg en gratis te gebruiken. Bind uw boot op de steiger bij het huis voor eenvoudige toegang tijdens uw verblijf. Clear Lake is nog steeds nummer 1 als het gaat om basvissen en heeft het hele jaar door vele toernooien. Een snelle boottocht naar Konocti Casino en Marina. We staan GEEN huisdieren toe in huis!

    Afgeschermd in de patio en een groot terras met tuinmeubilair om van te genieten. Voldoende ruimte in huis voor iedereen als je klaar bent met genieten van de buitenkant.

    Als u kinderen heeft, zijn er 2 parken op loopafstand. Groot dekgedeelte met ruimte voor hen om te spelen, zwemmen vlak bij de steiger of op een strand aan de rand van het meer bij de parken, en een aantal spellen voor hen om te spelen. Het dek heeft balustrades om kinderen weg te houden van het water. Houd ze echter altijd in de gaten.

    Zwemvesten en hengels zijn beschikbaar voor gebruik tijdens uw verblijf. Het kan soms voorkomen dat het kanaal en meer wat groene algen krijgen tijdens de latere zomermaanden.

Great house on the water

My friends and I stayed here for a three night fishing trip. The house was very nicely upgraded and well furnished. We especially enjoyed the outside BBQ area and deck. The host was very quick to reply and answer all my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect weekend on the lake!

This house was in the perfect location for a week of fishing. The property was clean, beautiful and very well equipped with everything we could ever need. The canal and dock were protected from the wind, and the electrical outlet and outdoor space was perfect. We will definitely be booking this property again! Our favorite place to stay!

This is our second summer renting this property. It’s by far the cleanest rental house I’ve stayed at. We love it there. It’s in a quiet location and close to the county park launch ramp for boats. Everything is easy to use and convenient. The hosts are very responsive and easy to contact with any questions. Another great summer vacation!

3rd stay at this property. Couldn’t be cleaner or more organized inside and out. Lake is full so boat was docked off the back dock. Power right on the dock for recharging batteries. We have stayed in about 7 different rentals over the last 12 years and this is the best for location, cleanness, convenience….. only thing that could improve it is if it were on the main lake front.

We stayed in March and the house was very nice. It had all nice amenities that made the house a perfect place to stay at Clear Lake. My biggest issue was to find a place to keep my bass boat out of the wind, possible bad weather, and in a safe place, and the location so accessible to get in and out on the water. County Park was only 1/2 mile away and made it easy to launch. I would definitely return to this house.

Beautiful quiet property

A group of 4 of us were looking for a relaxing quiet location to celebrate our friends retirement. The location was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the house had plenty of amenities. Lots of kitchen items for all your needs, and the grill was clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the sunporch with coffee in the morning and wine at night. Appreciated the diagrams and pictures on how to operate the door lock, shower, etc. Within a short driving distance to plenty of wineries and great restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great Lake House-Toddler Friendly

We had a great stay at this property. We stayed with our almost 2 year old and appreciated that each room was filled enough to add character, but not so much that we felt our toddler might knock something over! The outside enclosed patio was fantastic to be able to sit outside and know he couldn’t run off. If he was a bit older, the full deck would have been great. Our only downside, which is our own fault for not looking, is there wasn’t a bathroom with a bathtub. The whole house was clean, inviting, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The park down the street was a great surprise!

Wonderful Lake House

We spent a week fishing at the lake and had the best time. The house is very clean, well stocked, and has a great lake house decor. Hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with. Location is in a nice quiet neighborhood near the launch ramp. The driveway easily fit our boat trailer and truck which is definitely a plus. Relaxing week at the lake. We will be back again.

Ideal Setup

We really enjoyed staying at this property. We had 2 families, with a total of 4 children, and we were really impressed with the amount of kid toys they had available at at the house. The deck was great for all of us gathering for dinner. My husband did have a hard time with the grill, but was eventually able to make it work. According to him it needs a good cleaning. The layout was perfect for our 10 month old who is crawling everywhere. Since the shower had multiple heads, it was perfect for showering multiple kids at a time. We wanted to try the pedal boat but didn't get a chance due to the air quality. We also were not able to dock our boat at the house due to the low water and algae, but that's ok because launching at Lakeport was a positive experience and there was plenty of parking space in the driveway for the boat when we weren't using it. Kitchen was wonderful, all 4 adults can be in there at the same time. Thank you for letting us stay here!

Great experience

We’ve stayed at many different places around the lake through the past 7 or 8 years and this one was by far the cleanest and most maintained house we’ve been at. The location was great for access to the water. There was plenty of parking for 2 trucks and 2 boat trailers. The framed in outdoor patio was great for hanging out in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the check in and check out process were simple. I highly recommend this place as an option for anyone who plans a trip to Clearlake. We will definitely be checking the availability of this house for our next trip.

Bass Fishing Trip

This Lake House was the perfect spot for our trip to Clear Lake for fishing. We have been to several other properties on different lakes and this was by far the best we have stayed in. The house was very clean and nicely decorated, the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed and then some. The screened in porch is very private, and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the lake and visit with friends. With current water level, we were able to get our boat, a 19" Tracker combo in and out of the slough. The number of fish that was caught in the slough was incredible! We will definitely try to get this property again when we return. Thanks so much!!!

Great communication with the owners. Checkin was a breeze. Nice bottle of wine waiting for us and the house was spotlessly clean. Thank you Eva and Neil for letting us stay in your lake house. We loved watching the pelicans every morning come down the channel and coffee on the back patio was so relaxing. The kids loved the paddle boat and even tried a little fishing from the dock. Fantastic location!

Wow what a great place to stay! My son especially enjoyed fishing off the dock while I loved cooking in the kitchen that was fully stocked with every pot and pan and cooking accessories you could ever need! Relaxing and fun

Very nice home with huge deck, screened in porch, outdoor BBQ, all overlooking the boat channel. Very quiet neighborhood. Lake water was a bit low this year to be able to pull boat in and use the nice house dock but ramp was only a short distance away. Ample parking for car and boat trailer. Property owner was very accessible for questions. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Definitely will ask to stay again next time we head for Clear Lake!

Perfect Small Family Getaway

With the coronavirus cancelling several big trips we had scheduled, our immediate family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, a toddler and an infant) decided we needed a quick and easy getaway. Clearlake was our pick and the house was just about perfect for everything we wanted and needed. We have rented quite a few homes through VRBO and I must say, this was easily one of the nicest. The furnishings and decor were so tasteful and it was amazingly well stocked for cooking (my guess is the owners are gourmet cooks -- their equipment was all high quality and there was nothing we wanted for cooking our meals that we couldn't find). Everything was clean and in perfect condition. The outdoor kitchen was a definite bonus -- mid-summer in Clearlake is very hot and and cooking and eating on the beautiful deck was the perfect way to end our days. (And drinking coffee out there in the mornings was the perfect way to start the day.) The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. There is a large park nearby and had the play area not been closed due to covid, it would have been a great spot to take my toddler grandson. Perhaps the best part of this particular rental was the owner. Eva responded very quickly every time I had a question (and I must admit to asking several). She was extremely helpful and, in fact, when we had some difficulties finding the house from our boat, she spent a considerable amount of time FaceTiming with me so she could see where we were and direct us accordingly. What a lovely person! My only complaint has nothing to do with the house or the owner; it has to do with the fact that the house is located on a slough rather than actually on the main body of the lake. It's a known fact that during the latter part of the summer, Clearlake develops a considerable amount of algae blooms. Unfortunately, the slough was quite green and algae-filled. In all communications, Eva mentioned that there are no guarantees as to the weather (of course), the water depth or the amount of algae. We had hoped to be able to both swim and fish from the great dock at the house but because of the algae, that was simply not possible. It's a minor complaint - we simply took our boat into the main part of the lake -- perhaps a 5-10 minute ride -- and swam and fished (by the way -- the fishing was great!). All in all, it was exactly what we wanted - a relaxing time enjoying family in a lovely setting.
