Gezellig Lakeside Cottage .... met privé strand!

Ontsnappen naar de coziest, lakeside cottage. Dit pittoreske en verzorgde 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers huisje is gelegen op een privéweg en op een steenworp afstand van een privéstrandparadijs. Deze woning is ideaal voor koppels, gezinnen en vrienden, aangezien het een gezellige ruimte is, maar toch groot genoeg voor privacy. Geniet van koken in een goed uitgeruste keuken, lees een boek op de overdekte veranda, loop de baan af om je voeten in het meer te duiken of geniet van een fijne barbecue met een cocktail. Als u niet een goed gepaste gast bent om volledig te ontkoppelen, heeft u de snelste wifi die u ooit zal ervaren en een kabel-tv in elke kamer. Het huis heeft een eigen oprit voor voldoende nacht parkeren en een in de wasmachine / droger voor het gemak. Compleet met airconditioning en warmte, uw verblijf hier is gegarandeerd aangenaam en comfortabel. Onze prachtige locatie ligt op steenworp afstand van Union Pier, New Buffalo en Harbert, maar ligt in onze eigen vriendelijke, meeroevergemeenschap. Wij bieden veel voorzieningen om ervoor te zorgen dat uw verblijf zo moeiteloos mogelijk is, immers, het leven is geweldig aan het meer!

Charming, comfortable cottage that was very clean and well appointed. We’ve rented many places in the area and we will definitely be coming back to this place when it’s available. One of the best beaches in the area and it’s not crowded like the public access beaches down the road in U.P.

The location of the cottage is fantastic. It’s a cute little cottage only about a block from the beach entrance, and having a private entrance is an added bonus! There were a couple of minor things, nothing big. Hailey was quick to respond to our concerns and rectified the problems.

The home and neighborhood are lovely. Though in what feels like a safe location the area is populated and off of a main highway. Though the walk to the beach isn’t far the bike lock used for the gate was unexpected. Well worth the walk the view and beach access is just as stunning during off season.

We had an amazing long weekend at this cottage. The home had everything we needed for our beach time (chairs, towels, umbrella, and even a boogie board). We loved relaxing on the porch after a long day in the sand, and the quiet street was wonderful. Host was also very helpful and responsive to our questions.

This Vrbo truly lives up to its description, cozy cottage. Perfect for three friends to relax and enjoy Lake Michigan. Beautiful private beach and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The host was very responsive to every question asked before the trip and during. The outside and landscape could be spruced up a bit for curb appeal, but once inside, perfect.

This was a nice place in a nice location. I rated 3 star because the exterior needs cleaning and maintenance. The inside looks like the pictures. Beautiful beach.

A few blocks downs a rocky, narrow road, followed by a short path and 67 steps, takes you to the main reason why we love renting in this area. A lovely, convenient private beach! The exterior of the Lakehouse hides the charm that has been created inside. It is exactly what we wanted- old style lake/beach decor, with all the modern day upgrades we need: AC, dishwasher, wifi. The 3 queen sized beds are firm, yet comfy, the kitchen is huge, and having 2 showers and a washer/dryer were key for our family. The house is surrounded by tons of trees so we had deer and a variety of birds every morning as we enjoyed the tiny outside deck. One surprising benefit to this stay- the house was really quiet. We never heard the train, cars, neighbors.. when we were sleeping and we had the windows open for fresh air. Must be all the trees:) Hailey was extremely kind, communicative, and helpful before and during our stay. Super simple access to the house and beach. This is the most we've paid per day for a VRBO house, but that may be the Lakeside area- which is pretty upscale? The VRBO pics appeared to make the house bigger than it is, but my family of 4 had plenty of space. My family enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for the memories.

My family of four (2 boys 9 & 7) and my husband and I loved the cozy cottage. It is truly a sweet spot on Shady Lane. I love that it is what the area used to be scattered with - little lakeside cottages- (versus new construction) felt so warm and inviting. Hailey has thought of everything that may be needed. Great to communicate with. The walk to the beach is so easy and the private beach was just what we needed (after some “bullying” at a public beach a couple years back by a group that had “paid a lot of money” for their part of the public beach!!!) My boys loved having their own rooms and TVs! I loved being in the updated kitchen but it still fit so well with the cottage ! We all commented on how comfortable the beds and bedding were !!! Our trip ended too soon but we will hopefully get to return to this sweet little gem in the near future. Thank you, Hailey.

The cottage was very clean when we arrived and the decor is charming. However, the location is the best thing about the home. The walk to the beautiful, private beach only took minutes and we loved how much beach time we were able to squeeze in. There is also several playgrounds nearby as well as some awesome breweries, bakeries, and restaurants.

The house was quaint and comfortable. The location was nice and quiet. The beach was by far the best beach we've been to. The price is on the high end in my opinion. The one downside was not having a good area outside to rinse and off.
