Onze familie geniet al generaties lang van de schoonheid en sereniteit van Lake Wallenpaupack, en nu hebben we besloten om ons prachtige huis te delen, zodat u kunt delen in dezelfde ervaring. Ons bergchalet is de perfecte plek om met uw gezin te ontspannen en te genieten van herinneringen aan het meer. Vul uw dagen met leuke activiteiten in de zon, zoals vissen, slangen, zwemmen, varen, jetskiën en gewoon ontspannen! Breng de dag door op het meer en kom thuis naar BBQ op het grote uitzicht op het meer. Of blijf gewoon zwemmen en ga voor anker in een van de vele restaurants aan het meer. Er is altijd ruimte om bij hun haven te parkeren!

Nu heeft dit prachtige chalet aan het meer een loft op de 3e verdieping met twee queensize bedden en een volledig vernieuwde badkamer. De begane grond heeft twee slaapkamers, een met een koningin, een met 2 stapelbedden. U vindt er ook een open woonkamer, eetkamer en vernieuwde keuken met zichtlijnen overal, en een andere badkamer ook. Alle nieuwe vloeren in de woonkamer alleen deze winter. Deze ruime kamer biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het meer overal waar je kijkt! De kenmerkende zonsopkomsten van Lake Wallenpaupack zullen u nooit ontnemen!

Ons lagere niveau heeft nog een slaapkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een koningin, een badkamer, wasruimte, bar en grote kamer met voldoende zitplaatsen voor de hele groep. Ik kan de speelkamer niet vergeten! Test je tafeltennis op onze pingpongtafel!

Buiten het huis ontdekt u een ruim terras met uitzicht op het glinsterende meer. Welke stranddag zou compleet zijn zonder een BBQ of een vuurplaats voor het roosteren van de perfecte s'mores? U vindt het allemaal hier voor u klaar in dit rustieke chalet! Via de toegang van het lagere niveau vindt u een comfortabele hangmat voor ultieme ontspanning of zit u in de hot tub terwijl u de zon ziet opkomen. Trekking naar het meer is een gemakkelijke paar stappen langs onze stenen loopbrug die rechtstreeks naar de rand van de kabbelende kustlijn van Wallenpaupack leidt.

Family Getaway

We stayed at this house for a quick getaway with our children and their aunts and uncles. Weather looked dicey, but we got lucky and were able to enjoy all that the lake had to offer! The kayaks were wonderful, and in terrific condition. Even when there was a bit of rain, everyone decided to stay at the house, rather than heading out to do an indoor activity…we felt at home and there was plenty to do! Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Fabulous Family Vacation Spot

Our vacation exceeded our expectations! Our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the dock and water access all week long! The house was well-appointed and comfortable for everyone. And nothing could beat the views from the living room and deck.

Beautiful location

My husband, grown sons and daughters in law, my grandson and I had a wonderful week at the lake! The location was perfect, lake was quiet and house great for us. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and on our boat. Cindy was very responsive and checked in with us often. I would definitely recommend it.

Loved the location!!!

Check in was easy, the house was nice and roomy, kitchen was nicely updated and well stocked with supplies needed. Ice maker did not work and water leaked from the fridge/freezer onto the floor daily. Was disappointed that a repair person could not come the entire week. The basement was very damp and we found it uncomfortable to sleep in that bedroom, and there was no working dehumidifier. Loved the location--the area was nice to walk daily, the dock was easy to get to and use for our boat and putting the kayaks in was easy as well, and it was nice to have two kayaks available to used, the hot tub was good too.

Great getaway weekend!

Great house, great location right on the Lake! House was clean and spacious. Rained all weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the lake but house lay out was able to accommodate our party of 12 inside. The owner and the agent were extremely responsive. Already recommended to a friend and can’t wait to plan next visit to hopefully experience the lake.

Great Weekend, no dock.

My friends and I enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing weekend at the lake, 5/21-5/23. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. Cindy was a great host and helped us secure the best property for our group. We had a mostly positive experience the entire time. The only issue we had was in hoping there would be a dock installed the weekend before memorial day, especially after multiple requests over the proceeding month, because we were bringing a boat we planned to keep tied there. In the end, we were one of the only houses with lake access in the neighborhood, and no dock installed. The dock was laying in sections in 1/2 of the usable driveway space. I understand the official rental policy doesn't guarantee a dock installed before memorial day weekend, but I just found it disappointing to have the dock sitting in the driveway instead of being in the lake. Fortunately, the neighbors were home and friendly enough to let us use their dock a couple of times! We had to use a marina to dock the boat. Overall the weekend was amazing and I can't wait to have another lakeside getaway!

Pros and cons

The home was beautiful and clean. However, there are issues that need to be addressed: 1. The home states it has great Wi-Fi, however, the wifi was NOT 5G, it was half speed and spotty. Alot of our devices and streaming were constantly getting cut off. For 3 teens, this was problematic. 2. The outlets in the first floor only worked on the top, not the bottom. So if there was two outlets, the bottoms would not work 3. The dining table chandelier has no light bulbs in it. We had to resort to playing cards and games with flashlights because it was so dim in that area. 4. The home only supplies 1 13 gallon garbage bag for the entire stay. As you can imagine, with a group of 7, this quickly became a problem. Also only 3 Dishwashing tabs were provided, and only 2 bathrooms had an extra roll of Toliet paper 5. The property could stand to use some kind of mosquito control. The mosquitos would swarm and blanket you, and it made it very difficult to enjoy the outdoors Now for the good stuff... The lake is gorgeous. The views from the rooms were fantastic The hottub was perfect and suited our needs nicely. It fit 4 people very comfortably. The additional of the use of the kayaks absolutely made our trip 100x better. The beds were comfortable and clean and the home was very clean before our stay. The appliances were top notch and easy to use All in all, my group enjoy the stay and would stay again!

This house was great for our family weekend getaway! We had so much fun making s’mores at the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying the beautiful lake front views. Would definitely stay here again.

Location on Lake is amazing. House was clean and spaceous. Cons: Firm 4pm check-in and 11am checkout. Basically two wasted days. Kitchen lacked items commonly found in other rentals. Utensils and pots variety, garbage bags, to name a few. Heating/AC situation made for sporatic Temps throughout house.

A bit disappointed

Best thing was the view, fire place, and the acess to the lake. Worst thing was how icy the drive way was; it was very dangerous. When unloading and loading the cars there were several people that slipped and one person fell. Lastly, the mattresses were not comfortable. Some matresses need replaced. I will go back to the area, but I won't stay in this cabin.
