Carrabelle, Florida (5–8 miles away)
Stroll through downtown Carrabelle and snap a photo at the World’s Smallest Police Station. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Carrabelle River Walk or step back in time at the Carrabelle History Museum. Just outside town, visit the WWII Camp Gordon Johnston Museum or relax on the beautiful Carrabelle Beach. Don’t miss the Crooked River Lighthouse—especially magical at sunset.

Panacea & Wakulla County (20–39 miles east)
A short drive east brings you to the Gulf Specimen Aquarium in Panacea, a great stop for families. Further on, explore Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park, where you can swim, visit the charming lodge, and take in some Hollywood history (it’s where The Creature from the Black Lagoon was filmed).

St. George Island & Apalachicola (22–31 miles west)
Head west for a day of coastal adventure. Visit the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve to discover the region’s unique ecosystem. On St. George Island, you’ll find a lighthouse, museum, and beautiful state park beaches, perfect for a picnic or paddle. In Apalachicola, enjoy a waterside stroll at Riverfront Park or the Scipio Creek Boardwalk.

There’s no public transportation or ride-share services like Uber or Lyft in the area, so we strongly recommend bringing your own vehicle to get around comfortably.

This cozy getaway offers free Wi-Fi, complimentary street parking, and a Smart TV ready for all your favorite streaming services. Within walking distance, play 9 holes of golf for only $5 paid to The Lanark Village Golf Club. Enjoy easy keyless entry and a relaxed, pet-friendly atmosphere. Inside, you'll find a comfy sectional sofa and Smart TV, a two-person pub height dining table, and two full bedrooms. There is a flex space complete with a sofa which offers a little privacy for working, reading, or just relaxing. Bedroom #1 is equipped with a queen bed, closet, and dresser storage. Bedroom #2 offers a full bed and a twin bed, perfect for the kids, and features a closet and dresser storage as well. We welcome up to two small dogs or one large dog—there’s even space for a kennel in the laundry room. Outside, you'll find a charcoal grill with outdoor seating in the front yard, and a relaxing screened porch that’s perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach!

Kitchen
The kitchen comes stocked with cookware and utensils, plus a microwave, refrigerator, stove with oven, and a classic Mr. Coffee 12-cup drip coffee maker to get your mornings started right.

This is a single-story unit with a short walkway from the street. There are two steps required to enter the front door.
