Had a perfect night away with my granddaughter at the Comforts of Whidbey Winery an B & B. It is a quiet, beautiful property just outside of Langley. The owner was engaging, helpful and also a wonderful chef. She prepared and served a delicious breakfast for us before sending us on our way with helpful and informative information about the communities and sites on Whidbey Island.

I can’t comment myself as I booked this stay for my Son and his wife due to a recent death in the family. I can say that they were very accommodating and gave my Son and his wife a beautiful room to have time to themselves to reflect the current situation they were faced with. My Son said the room was very nice, quiet and they were impressed with the meal options and consideration of any food allergies etc they had, and was considerate of their situation and gave they as much privacy as needed. Thank you for making their stay just what they needed.

Beautiful Pastoral and Vineyard Setting
We enjoyed the beautiful pastoral setting of this lodging with a peek-a-boo view of Puget Sound and the wine tasting that was offered on the afternoon we arrived. We bought 5 bottles for gifts and for ourselves. Our room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and furnished with two large armchairs facing a large window with a view of the pasture and vineyard. We enjoyed watching the cows and the owner’s dog interacting with their alpacas. A full-size refrigerator, sink and counter, 24/7 coffeemaker and tea selection were available for use by all the guests. The owners are very friendly, and the breakfast(s) were excellent.

Fantastic Winery and B&B close to Langley
Lovely estate winery and B&B a few miles from Langley. Our room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast was included. We will stay here again on our next trip to Whidbey Island. Highly recommended!

Wonderful getaway
We always enjoy our stay at Comforts of Whidbey. The daily farm to table breakfast is always delicious. Rita is a delight and always willing to make your stay a positive one!

Rita and her husband are very friendly and willing to make your stay enjoyable. Rita was able to make some delicious breakfast even when faced with challenging dietary needs. Thank you so much beautiful area. Quiet, no tv that would distract you, good place when seeking rest and relaxation with your live one on a get away trip. Definitely come back

Lovely venue! Room is comfortable, clean and has an amazing view of the inlet! The bed is sooo comfortable and the breakfast was more than generous as well as delicious!

We really enjoyed the hospitality, the beds are amazing as well as the view!! Fun tasting wine and chatting with the staff and other visitors!! The breakfast was great !! Made fresh by the owner!! Over all was a great time and we would recommend this to everyone visiting Langley!!!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! This is a beautiful, quiet property and the owners made the stay so special chatting with guests and giving suggestions about the area. I especially loved the welcome wine flight and homemade breakfast. Beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve found when traveling. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

RELAX & ENJOY
Great family owned and operated and it shows! Great view of the bay from the huge picture window in our big master bedroom sized room. Fantastic homemade style breakfast, be hungry! Real good wine GREAT PEOPLE. If you want laid back out of the way but 5 minute drive to cutest little costal town this is it. Only 6 bed and breakfast suites so be one of the lucky ones and call! Say hi to the Lamas from us!

The hosts are amazing and went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s food allergies. Breakfast was dam yummy and the wine is pretty dang good. We have been there two times and will be back.

A quite place in the country
Very relaxing B&B in the country but still close enough to town to get a good meal for dinner. I plan on going back for a couple of days to really relax.

Wonderful setting with view of the water on one side, view of the vineyard on the other. Owners, Carl & Rita, are very friendly. I was running late due to ferry and Rita was happy to accommodate. I was greeted with a cheese plate and glass of wine. My room was very comfortable and spacious. 24 hour access to coffee, tea and light snacks, refrigerator available for guest use. No TV, which is fine with me, but if you want to watch a movie or something, bring your laptop. They do have internet access. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious, with lighter options if you prefer. The wines were all very good as well, the whites being produced from estate grown, out-of-the-ordinary grapes, such as madeleine angevine an siegerrebe. You won't see any chardonnay on the tasting menu! Comforts is only about 1 1/2 miles from the charming village of Langley. Definitely planning to return.

Wonderful winery and B&B
What a beautiful place! Rita Comfort, the owner, is very nice and super accommodating. We stayed in a downstairs room because there was a wedding party in the rooms upstairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing! There are several choices and they are all homemade! The figs and apples we enjoyed were grown right on the property. It was fun to be able to wine taste as well. There are beautiful views of the water from the B&B. Cows and llamas roam the fields. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed Whidbey, the B & B was at a local winery. A bit over priced for the experience. We were the only overnight guests and were not even comped a glass of wine. An Irish performer was at the venue but we were treated the same as other guests with a $20 cover charge so we passed on that. We were 10 minutes late for another glass of wine and were turned away at the bar while locals continued to stay and drink. Venue was nice and picturesque but everything won't be returning..

Beautiful Stay- But Was Discriminated by owner
This B&B was beautiful and a wonderful getaway for my boyfriend and I. The only thing that made me not want to recommend it to others was the woman who ran the Bed & breakfast. I have a trained very well behaved service dog who is trained to fetch my medicine. I called into the B&B in advance to make sure it was okay that we brought my service dog, and she told me as long as I had my papers and brought her bed it would be okay(all of which we did). When we got there we were rudely welcomed once she saw our dog. Not to mention our dog is a 30lb miniature husky mix, and is extremely clean. She told us that she has never seen a puppy be a service animal, but our dog is 14 months old and because it is a miniature she jumped to conclusions and basically disqualified our dog and all her training she has been through. In general she was not friendly and when we would ask questions about the wine she would tell us to just read the menu and was very cold to us. I read reviews on how nice she was before our stay, so it honestly put a bad taste in my mouth when I realized how discriminated I was during our stay. She honestly wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible just because we had our service dog. Our dog did not make any sounds or any bad behavior, not sure why she would discriminate on us when my dog is a trained service animal.

We made a last minute decision to turn a business meeting into a little getaway on Whidbey Island, so in looking for a place to stay the night, we were excited to find this new B&B in the Comforts Winery with a room available. We arrived before the tasting room closed at 6 and were greeted with a free wine tasting, included with our night's stay! Zach checked us in, poured our wine and was most helpful & friendly. Walking up the short flight of stairs above the tasting room, we were very pleased to find out that our room had been upgraded to a Puget Sound view from the pastoral view we had booked.The 2nd story above the winery was just built last year, so the rooms are very clean, spacious & well-appointed. The linens, towels & bathrobes were luxurious. Just across from our room was everything needed for the evening & morning...a Keurig coffee maker with a great selection of coffees & teas, wine glasses, plates, cups, napkins & silverware. Included with the room was a delicious homemade breakfast that Rita Comfort, the owner had ready for us! She had just made the blueberry scones and served them with scrambled eggs (eggs from their chickens on the farm), bacon, fruit, roast potatoes. She was charming and let us know that their goal is a complete farm-to-table operation(they have an extensive garden, the vineyard, cows & chickens). It's also a wedding venue and so much more! We were thrilled to find such a treasure on Whidbey Island and hope to be back soon.

Comforts of Whidbey is a wonderful B&B located in a gorgeous setting on Whidbey Island. It is a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, nature, hospitality, farm and winery. We will definitely stay again, this time for a longer visit!
