Timber Frame cabine op Lake

Dit snoepje weinig huis heeft een open plattegrond met een slaapzolder en een prachtig uitzicht op zoek zuidwesten op Cayuga Lake. Dekken aan twee zijden van het huis leiden tot een "vlucht" van de vier decks onder het huis. De keuken heeft een kleine koelkast, inductie branders, kleine oven, magnetron, broodrooster, blender, koffiezetapparaat, en tal van kookgerei en servies. De badkamer heeft een klauw-voet bad. Op het dek, een gas grill en veel stoelen en picknicktafels om te ontspannen en onderhoudend.

Koningin matras in de loft, uitklapbare slaapbank, bank, en kamperen in tenten op het dek onder grote schaduw bomen of op de dubbele matras in de boot huis: ideaal voor twee, maar kan 05:56 slapen.

Niet toegankelijk voor gehandicapten: 28 zachte steen stappen van de weg naar het huis, 3 tot 6 stappen tussen de decks, steile trap naar beneden naar de kade, boot huis, en kiezelstrand, en in het huis, een bibliotheek ladder tot de slapende loft.

cozy couples getaway

We wanted a quiet getaway without the kids, and this definitely gave us what we wanted. It unfortunately rained 3 of the 4 days were there, but even with the rain, it was beautiful and quiet and just serene. The steps down to the cabin were not forgiving so you have to really take your time going up and down when they are damp. The steps going down to the doc and boat house were extremely steep and daunting when you first see them. But they do get easier the more you use them. Another tip that I would have liked to know before going is bring your own drinking water. there are jugs supplied to use for drinking and cooking but I think they are jugs that are refilled from owners home. which is fine, but I am a water snob, so I went to buy my own water. We loved the cabin and the area and everything that was included, Nancy is a great host and very informative and just seems to be a kind person. We will hopefully be back one day to stay again, with hopefully less rain!

Staying for Cornell Graduation

It was exactly what we expected, cozy and at home with a georgous lake view. It has been rain during our stay, but a blue sky came back shortly after the graduation at the cabin. Almost everything was equipped in the kitchen. We loke cooking. A bandage was helpful. We enjoyed BBQ.

Had a great stay. Definitely as advertised. Very clean and well taken care of. Had a great time. We were not able to enjoy the boat house and decks as much as we would have liked to due to the weather and level of the lake but can't control mother nature! Great weekend getaway

Second year visiting this lovely timber frame cabin. We had Nancy's cell number to ask questions. We were hiking first two days to see waterfalls and on last day weather was windy and cool, so not conducive to kayaking, so we were able to scavenge the beach for "lake" glass and heart-shaped stones. Nancy said we could stay past the check-out time and we took her up on that offer, leaving late afternoon. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect little cabin on the lake

Cozy and quaint little cabin right on the lake. Had everything we wanted, beautiful sunsets of the boat house porch, many great wineries near by and beautiful nights with a campfire. Cabin was wonderful and everything we wished for..

Sweet & Cozy

Loved this adorable cabin. It was the perfect cozy long weekend. There were plenty of utensils to cook with, cozy spots to read and journal, a comfy bed and beautiful outdoor space. I certainly enjoyed the claw foot bathtub. Nancy was so wonderful! She let me know when the cabin was ready for me and even let me stay a bit longer as a treat. What a special trip!

Always beautiful lakefront cabin

This was our second time staying in this beautiful cabin. It's rustic and special, offering beautiful views and the tranquility of lakeside life. Short drives to Ithaca for groceries, sleepy mornings on the porch with coffee, and winery outings. We always want to come back! Plus, Nancy communicated wonderfully with us and really made us feel welcome.

A cozy cottage...with a lake view

My host, Nancy, was very responsive and accommodating for my 3 nite stay on Cayuga lake. She provided me with local information about travel, grocery stores & restaurants, which made me right at home. It was a perfect place to stay while I volunteered at Long Point winery, in Aurora, for the week.

Sweet Lakeside Cabin

We fell in love with this charming cozy cabin, its perch above the lake, its location in a quiet dead end street only 20 minutes from Ithica to the south and Aurora 20 minutes to the north. Very clean, rustic in the sense of casual but not in the sense of lack of amenities.

Charming Lake Cabin

We just had another wonderful vacation at Nancy’s lake Cayuga cabin. The water was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking at Treman park and dinners out in Ithaca and Lansing. Nancy is an attentive host and the cabin is charming and well cared for.

Cutest bungalow ever!

My sister slept on the comfy pull out couch and my teenage daughter and I took the full size loft bed. With the cool lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping on the shore we slept like babes! Nancy and Rick were terrific hosts and have appointed the cabin with everything you need. The lake is stunning and we took out the kayaks every day, as well as fished, swam, and walked the abandoned train tracks. We will definitely be back to this magical, relaxing and rejuvenating place!

Adorable timber frame cottage

We came up for a quick get away. The cottage and property is so adorable. We had a restful stay and visited the spa at Inn at Aurora for my birthday. Nancy reached out to see if we needed anything. Charming Cabin With Great View

The timber-frame cabin had everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful. The view of lake Cayuga was framed by magnificent trees. The way the lot was landscaped was very clever, with various levels down to the lake, dock, and boat house. Beautiful countryside and waterfalls to visit.
