Wij verbleven in een hagelnieuw bijgebouw, iets heuvelopwaarts van het oude gedeelte, pal naast parkeerplaats (dus makkelijk met bagage). De kamer was zeer ruim en alles was in prima staat. 'A great starting point to visit Cornwall because the atlactic and southern coast lines as well as the western part of Dartmore National Park are reachable within an our (of so) by car. Jamaica Inn is sometimes crowded and busy probably because all sorts of people visit it, but the real pub fealing is always present. 'I had the basic twin because that was the only option available when I booked. The room was very clean and warm- no ocean view. Had dinner in the dining room and it was lovely Had the daily special of turkey pie and pint and it was very nice along with the fish and chips. Breakfast the next morning was a choice of cereal and fruit and pastries along with a cook to order breakfast. Again lovely. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would stay here again if I’m back in Port Issacs'

'The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens'
