U beschikt over een nieuw, compleet appartement met 2 slaapkamers voor maximaal 6 personen. We kunnen plaats bieden aan 6 met behulp van de bedden, de bank en onze eenpersoonsbed. Elke slaapkamer heeft een open haard voor warmte en ambiance. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust om gemakkelijk aan uw behoeften te voldoen met alle nieuwe apparaten. Je hebt een volledige wasmachine en droger voor je wasbehoeften.

U kunt in alle seizoenen van het buitenleven genieten. Het is een prachtige, rustige locatie in de zomer met al het plezier van spelen in het meer. In de herfst hebben we kleurrijk gebladerte en frisse, frisse lucht terwijl je naar het meer kijkt of speelt. De lente is een geweldige tijd om het leven te zien herstarten en weg te gaan voor wat peddelen in kajaks. En als laatste, maar daarom niet minder belangrijk, is het winterwonderland om sneeuwmannen, forten en sneeuwengelen te bouwen en een bevroren meer voor ijsvissen. We hebben ook een mooie heuvel om te sleeën voor de kleintjes. Kom dan terug voor warme kokos bij het vuur. We hebben ook het hele jaar door een vuurplaats voor vreugdevuren. Dus breng wat hout, je hotdogs, marshmallows en stokken mee en geniet van diner en dessert aan het meer.

Respite From Life

Fantastic lication

Lisa is a fantastic host. She helped us to also see her other location in Davison for our next possible stay She had everything we needed - including little spare touches like the notes to help us near the cabinets and how to use the heat. Great host!

The place was ok, it was a better option than the hotels. The owner was a bit more of a micro manager than I’d prefer to deal with for a stay somewhere. She controls the temperature as well and kept our rooms thermostat at 77. Stating that most Americans prefer that temperature; my nightly pool of sweat disagreed.

Highly Recommend Peaceful Suite

We stayed for 4 nights while we were visiting with family in the area. It was a good choice for us. It was obvious that Lisa had put a lot of thought into making it a comfortable place to stay. It's off the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We would definitely consider staying there again if we are in the area.

We stayed with Lisa while visiting family about an hour away. The setting was very pretty. We saw geese on the lake the first morning. It was nice to have a comfortable place to return to after spending time with family. My dogs were welcome there too which is a big plus for me.

Great Place!

My sister and I, both over 65, spent a few days in this peaceful, lovely place. The view of the lake, green grass and trees was wonderful. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the appliances are top notch. We were also quite close to some nice restaurants in Davison. My niece, her husband, and 2 kids (ages 2 and 3) loved it. Their parents took them out in the paddle boat and they played in the large yard. Great place for children. Lisa (the host) was available, but never intrusive. We would stay there again.

A wonderful get away weekend!

my family and I enjoyed it quite a bit, and my two dogs were able to run and swim at the lake. We kayaked and admired the sunset at night. The rent was affordable, and the accommodations were upstanding. We were greeted with a warm welcome, making the place feel like home.

A great time in Lapeer!

We had an amazing time at Lisa's place! We pulled up, parked in one of our two designated parking spots, and made our way toward the back of house, where the private entrance to our little apartment was, and ran right into Lisa. We had a nice short chat and she showed us around, and then we continued to get settled in. The apartment was very clean and well kept, with labels all around to let you know where things were and what switches control what—a great touch! We enjoyed playing with our dog in the spacious backyard, where we also had a nice cookout or two, as weather permitted. We also got to witness a pretty sunset on the smooth-as-glass lake, and the patio made for a nice, peaceful place to relax and read our books. The location is close enough to make a nice day trip out to Detroit (1h15m), Ann Arbor (1h), or Frankenmuth (45m), and we took advantage of that. We would definitely recommend Lisa's place to anyone looking to have a nice Michigan getaway, especially those who want to bring along their furry friend! :)

Just Wonderful

What a place to relax! Beautiful view of the fall colors around the lake! Quiet and peaceful! Plenty of areas including the dock on the lake to have your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine! The owners are very friendly and available at a moments notice to attend to any needs you may have. I will stay here again and again!

Pros and Cons

Pros: The property was clean and well decorated. The children all enjoyed playing at the lake and making Smores. Cons: We were greeted by an overwhelming smell of scented oil burning. Gives me migraines! All the towels smelt like mildew. Yuck! The AC is controlled by owners. The owners are upstairs watching. Although it was nice to visit friends and have a place to play, we wouldn't do it again.
