I really enjoyed my stay at St Leonards Guesthouse. Keith is so friendly and helpful, and the single room was just right for a solo traveler. Breakfast was also delicious. I wish I could have stayed more than one night!

People interested in their job
Gave the impression that the people running it were really interested in what they did. Lots of nice touches -- bathrobe provided, for instance, and a bottle (glass) of water in the room. Rain shower was very good, and spacious, even included a cleaning too. Breakfast set you up for the rest of the day.

Keith , the host , gave a very warm welcome on my arrival. My room was clean and comfortable good size bed 2 arm chairs. There was the usual coffee , tea and biscuits also a fridge containing fresh milk and bottled water. Despite the property being on a main road it was fairly quiet thanks to good sound proof glazing. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals , croisants along with a hearty fresh cooked full breakfast, fresh coffee too.

We had a 2 night stopover as part of our week long break. Keith, the owner, is very knowledgeable about the locality. Our breakfast would put many 5 star hotels to shame.

Keith was a welcoming host very friendly and informative about local amenities and the breakfast was brilliant we both really enjoyed it. This was worth every penny great value for the money. There was a lovely cosy feel to the place, room was clean, comfy and well thought out. Will definitely stay again and we recommend it highly for a chilled stay!

Perfect location, great place.
Owner was so helpful, we were a little bit early but this wasn't a problem gave us good information about the town and restaurants to eat. Breakfast was supperd and plenty of it. Will certainly recommend to friends and will be back.

Nostalgic return
I came to Largs to remind myself of my youth. The accommodation did not disappoint, the host was friendly and wanting to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Good hearty breakfast. Small room though adequate for me, all facilities provided. Would stay here again when I visit this beautiful part of the world

Good property, lovely host
Good location for exploring Largs, getting a train or a ferry to Cumbrae. Handy supermarket almost opposite. Property was in very good, clean condition. Double en-suite room was a little small but perfectly manageable and cosy. Keith was a lovely host and cooked amazing breakfasts with plenty of other choices such as fruit, croissants and cereal.
